[OVERVIEW]

Sableye is a pesky wall that uses its Prankster ability and great support moves to shut down setup attempts and cripple the opposition. Sableye's typing lets it accomplish the nigh impossible task of walling physical juggernauts like Toxicroak, Passimian, and Tauros while threatening to spread burns with Will-O-Wisp. However, Sableye's reliance on Prankster moves makes it a sitting duck against Dark-types such as Guzzlord and Scrafty, which can also shrug off Knock Off damage. Sableye's passivity and terrible special bulk means it often invites in special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Exploud and Sylveon to wreak havoc.

Sableye's natural bulk is nothing to write home about, so it fully invests into its physical bulk to take on threats like Silvally-Ground, Tauros, and Toxicroak as easily as possible and potentially damage them with its Rocky Helmet. Encore allows Sableye to shut down sweepers like Silvally-Ground, Omastar, and Snorlax and whittle away at them with Will-O-Wisp and Knock Off. Pokemon that don't mind Will-O-Wisp like Talonflame and Sylveon may struggle to come in on Sableye's Knock Off, as they're quite dependent on their items for longevity.

Specially defensive Steel-types like Stakataka and Copperajah cover for Sableye's vulnerability to special wallbreakers like Sylveon and Exploud. In return, Sableye checks Fighting- and Ground-types like Passimian and Silvally-Ground. Sableye also cripples Fire-types like Talonflame and Arcanine by removing their Heavy-Duty Boots, making them less reliable switch-ins to Steel-types. Sableye is great for offensive teams utilizing Spikes from the likes of Ferroseed or Garbodor, as it can remove Heavy-Duty Boots quite easily and compensates for the defensive shortcomings of the offensive Pokemon commonly seen on Spikes teams like Heliolisk and Inteleon.

Sableye has a myriad of utility moves at its disposal that it can make great use of, especially with Prankster. Taunt serves a similar purpose to Encore in shutting down setup attempts, although Encore prevents foes from utilizing their boosts. Sableye can use Night Shade for more consistent damage than Knock Off, but the utility provided by Knock Off goes a lot further than the damage done by Night Shade. Toxic can cripple special walls that don't mind getting burned like Mantine and Gastrodon to support teammates that may otherwise lose to these Pokemon, such as Inteleon and Omastar.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Sylveon and Diancie not only threaten Sableye for super effective damage, they also often carry Heal Bell to cure their team of burns and take minimal damage from Knock Off.

**Dark-types**: Dark-types like Guzzlord, Scrafty, and Drapion take minimal damage from Knock Off and are immune to Sableye's Prankster moves, completely walling and setting up on it.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Sableye's special bulk is terrible, and its passivity is a free invitation for powerful wallbreakers like Choice Specs Alolan Exeggutor, Exploud, and Inteleon to switch in. Even utility special attackers like Vaporeon and Rotom-C threaten great damage on Sableye while not being threatened in return.

add fairy-types to checks and counters, both sylveon and diancie are good answers to it; you can remove the sylveon point from special wallbreakers and replace it with eggy alola
