We're bringing back break this team now that UUPL is (almost) over, since people will be more willing to share teams again!

This week's team comes from Bandkrook.

"I've been wanting to build around AV Glowbro for the longest time, so here it is. I chose Helmet Tangrowth as my Knock absorber, since that's very needed for glowbro. Tang also gives me a switch-in to Ground-types, which both Glowbro and Nihilego appreciate. Nihilego gives me Stealth Rock support + another switch-in to stuff like Rotom-H, Salamence, etc, if Glowbro is low. Knock Off support for the rest of the team is very good too, since it can Knock Off in front of foes Scizor and Tangrowth can't, like Moltres, Rotom-H, and Salamence. I then added Mew to pressure the opposing team with Spikes + Future Sight from Glwobro, and it also gives me another switch-in to Nidoqueen and is a general useful mon with Knock Off + Will-O-Wisp, which really cripples Celesteela, Amoonguss, etc and opens the way for my wallbreakers in Choice Specs Keldeo and Choice Band Scizor. Scizor and Keldeo are two absurdly strong wallbreakers that appreciate Spikes + Future Sight support, allowing them to easily clean teams."
Submissions are due by Friday!

knock-"turn" thundy + moltres-galar

:ss/thundurus: :ss/moltres-galar:

Thundurus (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Psychic

Moltres-Galar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Berserk
EVs: 188 HP / 176 SpA / 144 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fiery Wrath
- Hurricane
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

together, these two tear up the team. slowbro-galar as special sponge means that knock thundurus is really annoying, and no ground type means that volt switch is free as hell (which is why i have it over uturn here). thundurus outspeeds all 6 on the team, too. thundurus volts out of all its switchins (gbro / mew / tang) and brings in moltres-galar, which clicks its stabs freely against this team, quickly overwhelming shared checks like nihilego (which doesnt resist electric or dark).

obviously they need to be supported by a switch-in to nihilego, since they are both weak to rock. [wow expulso, thats brilliant!] [thanks, me]

spikes support is also, as always, awesome alongside knock-"turn", so spikes mew is a good partner, punishing this team for the sin of running an AV mon as special sponge without removal alongside it.

reserving necrozma + araquanid

:ss/Necrozma: :ss/Araquanid:

Necrozma @ Lum Berry
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Photon Geyser
- Heat Wave
- Knock Off

Araquanid @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Liquidation
- Toxic
- Sticky Web
- Leech Life

Whenever Necrozma gets a DD up, it can basically kill all mons except one. Mew (Even though if it gets two DDs and keeps his Lum Berry it's probably dead). That's where the Araquanid stuff comes in, thanks to it's ability Water Bubble, Will-o-Wisp is non-existent for it, while knock off does little to no damage. Sticky Webs can help outspeed all of the other mons without requiring a boost, while the rest of the moves are just the standard ones.

+1 252+ Atk Necrozma Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Slowbro-Galar: 328-386 (83.2 - 97.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO - just a little bit of chip needed

+1 252+ Atk Necrozma Photon Geyser vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Nihilego: 852-1004 (237.3 - 279.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

0- SpA Necrozma Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Tangrowth: 260-308 (64.3 - 76.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO - probably will get hit by a Knock Off by it but it's fine most of the time

+1 252+ Atk Necrozma Photon Geyser vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Keldeo: 512-606 (158.5 - 187.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

0- SpA Necrozma Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Scizor: 360-428 (128.1 - 152.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+1 252+ Atk Necrozma Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Colbur Berry Mew: 153-180 (37.8 - 44.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+1 252+ Atk Necrozma Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 204-242 (50.4 - 59.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252+ Atk Necrozma Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Colbur Berry Mew: 203-239 (50.2 - 59.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252+ Atk Necrozma Knock Off vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mew: 272-322 (67.3 - 79.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

btw the mew has 4 evs on SpA but no special moves dunno if it's an error or smth

Mew sets up spikes for keldeo in which this team has absolutely 0 hazard removal. After the spikes from mew are traded Keldeo Could be ported in with a future sight and could wreak havoc since slowbro-g is getting 2hko'ed by Hydro pump, and tang is getting 2hko'ed since it is helmet not AV and Keldeo is not a switch in at all since it is already 2hko'ed by pretty much every move. The fastest pokemon on that team is keldeo so it has to risk a tie in order to even have . With future sight and spikes nothing switches in including slowbro-g which is put into 2hko range by mew's future sight or 2 spikes. Mew is not a safe switch in at all as it gets OHKO'ed by 3 layers of spikes and with future sight its a guarantee OHKO which is easy to set up on many Pokémon such as tangrowth which does not want to stay in. Scizor is easily OHKO'ed by hydro pump and secret sword after 3 spikes to which as said is easy to set up due to the lack of removal the team has.

Bold Nature
- Teleport
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Overheat
- Psychic

like many uu teams, this one has no ghost resist! wow! chandelure time imo.

this core is pretty self-explanatory. chansey sets up rocks and lures in mons like scizor and tangrowth while teleporting, giving chandelure a few turn to blow things up. outside of a one-time switchin with nihilego, this team has no ways to not lose something to shadow ball. while mew can knock chand off, it can force a trade -- even without specs, shadow ball always OHKOs after rocks. furthermore, this team's lack of removal makes SR chansey a consistent setter, and ups the potential for chandelure to click buttons and claim bodies.
