Today we bring you a battle from group D of our BBP Sword and Shield tournament!

Joining us today are Toon and S0L1D G0LD, both formidable battlers in the BBP, and formerly ASB scene. Neither team that has been brought today seems to have an innate advantage over the other, so its bound to be a good battle!

On Toon's side I am particularly interested in how Morpeko will fare, it's signature move Aura Wheel definitely has potential and we'll see today if Toon can successfully harness it!

On G0LD's side we have a few BBP staples, Gardevoir and Snorlax, so Toon will definitely have to be careful of those. I am interested however in how Copperajah will do. With a great matchup against Granbull, but a not-so-great one against Cinderace.

Our match begins with Snorlax and Ricochet eyeing eachother from across the field. Seeing Ricochet's approach, Snorlax protects itself against any funny business while Ricochet transforms into a fighting-type as he tries to take the Snorlax out by the legs. The barrier Snorlax set up protects her, but it takes a lot of energy to do so!

To take less damage, Snorlax tucks her head in as she prepares for a powerful headbutt, but taking advantage of her not being protected, Ricochet does another Low Kick and hits critically dealing an insane amount of damage. Snorlax responds with her headbutt, dealing a decent amount of damage, but not nearly as much as she just received!

The next interaction is very much the same as the first one, with Ricochet going for a third Low Kick, but Snorlax protecting herself in time.

Both sides of the field are still looking very healthy, but for some reason I think G0LD wants to get Snorlax out of there as fast as possible!​
