Arena: ASB Arena
Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlied to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.​

On my left side is P2X7, who's team is best described as eclectic, abandoning any Pokémon that wasn't concieved prior to Unova, in exchange for overall bulk and power. My pick of the day is Necturna - in a match that's fairly lacking for 'winning' matchups either side, could Necturna's ability to make ANY matchup a winning one be crucial here?

I would like to title this round "Endure did not need THAT many nerfs", a 2020 Art Piece. With that said in spite of all that, Corviknight was able to land a substantial amount of damage onto the Zoroark before accidentally offing itself, giving P2X7 a reasonably easy first order against a highly weakened Zoroark. Still, I can't help but imagine how the match would turn if Corvi had gone for a Rock Smash A3... but I guess we'll never know, so on with the show!

In a slow round, Muk-A abuses the time that newly sent out Shade takes to dig down underground to create a protective Substitute, avoiding losing it's highly powerful leftovers. Meanwhile, Shade takes some time to destroy the substitute, and Muk-A finds it's running on fairly lower power with the Memento still ringing in it's ears.
