SS OU Sample Teams

In such a rampant, high-activity metagame filled with an incredibly diverse cast of Pokemon, finding a good place to start can be incredibly difficult. If you are interested in trying the metagame but are unable to build any teams of your own due to inexperience with the metagame, this thread is for you. Bear in mind that the tier is constantly developing, so this thread may see changes over time as the metagame shifts toward one playstyle or another.

If you would like to submit a sample team, you are allowed to do so in this thread; however if you do please explain why your team submission in particular would make for a good sample. This can also mean submitting teams that aren't your own, but please be sure to ask for permission before sharing them publicly. Questions regarding teams will also be fielded in this thread. If you have any further or miscellaneous questions, you may also message the SS moderation team.

I would like to submit a team that is highly likely to be in the readers' builder already but I sincerely can't grasp why it is not a sample team at this point. It is almost ubiquitous that it should be given how popular it is in high ladder games, in room tours, in friendlies and in tournament settings.

Win before turn 30, lose past turn 33 the team.

German Offense :tapu-lele: :dragapult: :landorus-therian: :urshifu-rapid-strike: :melmetal: :zapdos:

There's enough replays of this team to justify why it has earned that spot.

Contains every single fundamental one needs in an SS offense team with as little "fat" as possible; Knock Off, Stealth Rock, a ground type, something to send into Dragapult, Melmetal check, Shifu check, regen core punish, future sight + breaker(s), voltturn, scarfer. I doubt one can build a 6 in SS that is more iconic at the moment than this exact lineup.

Making a sample suggestion for a Crawdaunt team that has been quite decent for me in semi-serious matches and makes use of multiple SS OU quirks to work: https://pokepast.es/80c9f7f9cbcf92ea

A review of an older version of this can be found here. It is by no means a perfect team, but I think it is a good example of how a lower viability Pokemon can be used to great effect with the right support, as well as how customisable this tier is as long as your team ticks all of the fundamental 'boxes' (the SPD Crawdaunt spread is very useful).
