Welcome to the Monotype Speed Tiers Project! The Monotype metagame utilizes a wide spectrum of Pokemon from all of the standard tiers which creates a diverse range of Speed stats. There is a strong prominence of Choice Scarf users and unique sets, which aren't captured in the standard tiers, and team building restrictions have developed the need to ensure you outspeed certain threats that dominate your type. The aim of this project is to collate all of that information into a comprehensive set of speed tiers for the Monotype metagame.​

I think it might help.
I use Chloropyll Shiftry and I think it can become viable in this generation while Grass can't play defensively at the moment.

New Ownership Update

As shown in the thread, I'll be taking the SS Monotype Speed Tiers project from now on (approved by Forum Mods). With that, a minor update was made, featuring:

- All Pokemon shown in the Speed tierlist now must be ranked in the SS Monotype Viability Rankings. Any mentions of unranked Pokemon were now removed, and the thread will update accordingly.
- New Pokemon from DLC1 were already listed. Feel free to reply to the thread if there's any mistakes / errors / misplacements.
- Speed creeping EV spreads were all removed to match the new metagame. Again, feel free to post any major speed creeping tiers for the respective Pokemon, granted justification is given.

Hopefully this helps our metagame from now on!
