Spritzee is one of the most metagame-defining Pokemon in LC due to its typing and massive bulk that allow it to counter common Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Timburr and check Flying-types and Abra, thus being able to act as a versatile pick on many teams. Spritzee can tailor its moveset with either Calm Mind to act as a wincon after all of its counters have been removed, or run coverage moves like Psychic to hit Poison-types that usually counter it otherwise, or utility in Covet to steal the foe's item after getting its Eviolite removed. Ferroseed is one of the best partners for Spritzee, as together they form a really effective defensive core that checks most of the metagame and allows them to take care of each other's checks and counters. If Spritzee decides to act as a wincon, it needs the help of Diglett, which can efficiently take reliable answers to Spritzee in Mareanie and Foongus out. Spritzee has a hard time dealing with Steel-types, so help from Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Timburr is appreciated. Dark-types such as Scraggy and Vullaby appreciate Spritzee removing Fighting-types to allow them to sweep.

Use Vullaby over Pawniard in the dark type section, it's a more prevalent sweeper.
