Please arrive early enough to allow yourself plenty of time to check in (and register if needed). Registration closes thirty minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has closed will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.

The use of external devices to modify or create items or Pokémon in a player’s Battle Box is expressly forbidden. Players found to have Pokémon or items that have been hacked will be disqualified from competition, regardless of whether the Pokémon or items belong to that player or were traded for.

NOTE: To make registration go smoothly, please make sure your Battle Team and team list are in the exact same order (including move order).

All day tournaments take a lot of energy! Be sure your DS is fully charged before the tournament and bring a charger. We will have a charging station available, but demand may be high.

There are no prerequisites to play in a Midseason Showdown. Players of all skill levels are welcome. We hope to see you there!

For more specific information, please contact tournament organizer Jason Inman at poketowngym@gmail.com or 301-461-9890.

Please make sure to download the 2017 World Championships Rules before you arrive (Festival Plaza --> Battle --> Download Rules).
