Congratulations to frisoeva and MAX UND MAX for winning the GSC SPL predictions tour!
Both ended up tied with 32 correct predictions out of 48 matches. Each will receive the full prize amount.
Honorable mentions to:
Ara Ara with 31 points.
Earthworm, Finchinator, and London13 with 30 points.
Final standings and a list of all votes can be found here.
Some final statistics:
Out of 91 participants, 42 got over 50% of their predictions correct, while 49 were correct less than or equal to 50% of the time.
However, after counting every vote cast, 53% were correct. This implies that there was a small subset of participants who far exceeded the average due to their deeper understanding of SPL matchups, or that participants that started off the season with poor prediction results self-selected themselves out of the field and stopped participating. Make of it what you will.
Either way, congratulations. We collectively beat the proverbial monkey with a typewriter.
