Hello and welcome to...
THE FIFTH SMOGON WI-FI ANNUAL SECRET SANTA GIVEAWAY!

That's right, it's the season of giving again already! That means it's time for us to come together and get the perfect gifts for our fellow forum-goers, and spread a little Christmas cheer to our community!

Here's how it works...
All you have to do is post in this thread, filling out the form at the bottom of this post. This helps us get to know you and what kind of Pokémon you like a little better! Then, all of the signups will be shuffled and you'll be randomly assigned someone to get a gift for. Trying to take their answers in to account, you have the task of getting a Pokémon that you think they'll love to trade to them! Additionally, you'll receive a gift from someone else who joined.

Ok, I'm Interested! What else do I need to know?

1. Signups are open from now until 11:59PM on December 10th, GMT +11. Signing up is as easy as filling out the form and posting in this thread! Please pay special attention to the last four questions as those are the most important.
2. Once signups are closed, you'll be sent your pairing and have two weeks (11:59PM on December 24th, GMT+11) to get your gift ready! If you're struggling to find inspiration, see what they put in their form, or have a look at some of their old forum posts! As long as you put some thought in to it, your gift is sure to be a winner.
3. KEEP ME UPDATED ON THE STATUS OF YOUR GIFT! If you can't get something together in time, that's ok! Life can be crazy sometimes, but if you won't be able to get a gift ready on time, let me know so that I can find a substitute Santa. If there are no substitutes available, I'll get your partner something myself so that no one misses out!
4. Once Christmas is here, I'll announce all of the pairings in this thread! You'll then have a week to organise giving and receiving your gifts. Feel free to show off what you gave or received in this thread!

Additionally, just in case you needed any extra incentive to sign up, there will also be a participation reward for all who enter and successfully deliver their gift! You'll get to choose whether you'd rather receive it in SwSh or BDSP (full details to come!).

I wanted to welcome the opportunity to announce that my lovely Sephirona and I are going to be substitute Santas.
Nobody should go without a gift, hence why we signed the Santa clause in Lego's contract to help make sure of that.

I have terrible bad luck when it comes to getting sweet 'mons. Probably I'll barely get to give one to the person I'm paired. In other words, I'd like to say yes but I don't think it's a good idea so no.
