Slowbro's solid mixed bulk, good defensive typing, and access to Regenerator allow it to serve as a solid defensive pivot, capable of switching into a plethora of Pokemon like Keldeo, Noivern, and Starmie. Furthermore, Teleport allows Slowking to pivot out of foes that can switch in and check it, like Kyurem, Obstagoon, and Celebi, into an appropriate check. While it faces massive competition from Slowbro in this role, Slowking trades the ability to better check Pokemon like Terrakion and Cobalion for the ability to better check Noivern, Starmie, and Choice Specs Keldeo, as well as allowing the use of Galarian Slowbro on the same team. Slack Off allows Slowking to better check Pokemon like Keldeo and Starmie and gives it another form of recovery outside of Regenerator. Future Sight further helps Slowking support its offensive teammates like Mienshao by creating dangerous situations where the opponent cannot switch in a check like Galarian Weezing without it being 2HKOed after Future Sight; it also pairs amazingly with the safe switches that Teleport offers. Psyshock is necessary for Slowking to check Calm Mind variants of Keldeo and offers a way of doing immediate damage to Pokemon like Mienshao, Tentacruel, and Roserade. Toxic and Thunder Wave are both alternatives that Slowking can use over Slack Off; Toxic allows Slowking to cripple some of its switch-ins like Rotom-W and Rotom-C, as well as hitting opposing Slowking, while Thunder Wave can cripple foes like Starmie, Mienshao, and Noivern that attempt to stay in and break through Slowking. Trick Room is also an option, as with Teleport and Regenerator, Slowking can reliably set it up and safely bring in teammates like Alolan Marowak to wallbreak. The given EV spread allows Slowking to avoid being 3HKO'd by Noivern's Hurricane and 2HKO'd by Choice Specs Noivern's Hurricane. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Slowking to pivot much more reliably without fearing entry hazards, importantly letting it gain a much better net healing from Regenerator in the absence of Slack Off.

Powerful wallbreakers like Terrakion, Lycanroc-D, Mienshao, and Obstagoon greatly appreciate Slowking's Future Sight and Teleport support, providing them safe switches into Pokemon like Krookodile, Obstagoon, and Zarude and either pressuring their checks like Palossand, or in the case of Galarian Weezing, preventing them from coming in at all. Slowking can also provide a solid check to some of their revenge killers like Keldeo, Noivern, Mienshao, and Starmie. Alolan Marowak is another great wallbreaker to pair with Slowking, especially if using Trick Room + Teleport variants that can help provide plenty of opportunities for it. Slowking also benefits from defensive checks to Pokemon like Krookodile, Obstagoon, and Heracross that can force it out for free wallbreaking opportunities, such as Galarian Weezing, Palossand, and Air Balloon or Chople Berry Cobalion. Galarian Weezing can also take pressure off of Slowking by checking powerful Fighting-types, especially Mienshao, which Slowking would rather avoid due to the risk of losing its Heavy-Duty Boots, as well as providing Toxic Spikes support to help further wear down switch-ins like Celebi. A benefit of using Slowking over Slowbro is the ability to also use Galarian Slowbro on the same team; this can help provide a much more reliable check to Sylveon, an alternative Future Sight setter so that Slowking can more happily run Slack Off on a more offensively orientated team, and a better pivot into Pokemon like Galarian Weezing, which can threaten Slowking with poison from Sludge Bomb and Toxic Spikes + Corrosive Gas.

Slowking's solid mixed bulk, good defensive typing, and access to Regenerator make it one of the best defensive pivots in UU, capable of switching into a plethora of Pokemon like Keldeo, Noivern, Jirachi, Starmie, and Talonflame. you can cut a couple of these examples - tflame and starmie imo, since starmie trashes you/walls you and tflame's a bit less relevant Furthermore, Teleport allows Slowking to take advantage of a lot of Pokemon that would otherwise switch into it and check it, like Kyurem, Obstagoon, Tyranitar, and Krookodile, and Heliolisk (or like, Celebi - something that actually can come in, not two things that fear scald a ton) providing phenomenal pivot support, and allowing it to pivot out of bad matchups like Calm Mind Jirachi into an appropriate check. Future Sight is a powerful option on Slowking, helping it further support its offensive teammates like Mienshao by creating dangerous situations where the opponent cannot switch their check in like Galarian Weezing (just for clarity's sake) without it being 2HKO'd after Future Sight, and pairs amazingly with the safe switch in that Teleport offers. Slack Off, however, is an option to allow Slowking to better check Pokemon like Keldeo and Starmie, while making it harder for Jirachi to flinch Slowking down, and giving Slowking another form of recovery outside of Regenerator. Psyshock is necessary for Slowking to check Calm Mind variants of Keldeo, while offering a way of doing immediate damage to Water-type resists like Tentacruel and Roserade that would otherwise take advantage of you. Toxic and Thunder Wave are all both alternatives that Slowking can use over Future Sight; Toxic allows Slowking to cripple some of its switch-ins like Rotom-W, and Kyurem, as well as hitting opposing Slowbro who tf is Slowbro?, while Thunder Wave can cripple foes like Jirachi, Mienshao, and Noivern. it importantly cripples greedy analytic starmies too Trick Room is also a niche option that can be used to support slower wallbreakers like Copperajah and Tyranitar, with Slowking's access to Teleport letting it safely bring in these teammates. Heavy-Duty Boots allow Slowking to pivot much more reliably without fearing entry hazards, importantly letting it gain a much better net healing from Regenerator in the absence of Slack Off.

Powerful wallbreakers like Terrakion, Lycanroc-D, Mienshao, and Obstagoon greatly appreciate Slowking's Future Sight and Teleport support, providing them safe switch-ins to Pokemon like Krookodile, Tyranitar, and Kyurem, and either pressuring their checks like Skarmory and Palossand, or in the case of Galarian Weezing, preventing them coming in at all. In return, Slowking can also (there's no "in return" here, these are both things slowking does for the breakers and not the other way around) provide a solid check to some of their revenge killers like Keldeo, Noivern, Mienshao, and Starmie. Kyurem also benefits greatly from Slowking's Teleport support, and can help to both check and pressure Rotom-W and Rotom-M Rotom-C for it, while appreciating Slowking checking Jirachi and Noivern. Jirachi can help to check Kyurem and Celebi for Slowking, which can both greatly threaten and switch into it safely; mixed sets can also form a formidable wallbreaking combination with Teleport and potential Future Sight support, Substitute + Toxic sets can wear down shared checks like Incineroar and Rotom-W, and Choice Scarf sets can help to deal with faster Pokemon like Lycanroc-D and Dragon Dance Tyranitar that attempt to take advantage of Slowking. Slowking also benefits from defensive checks to Pokemon like Krookodile, Obstagoon, and Heracross that can force it out for free wallbreaking opportunities, such as Galarian Weezing and Skarmory i would consider mentioning Palossand here bc it actually pairs rly well with king defensively other than the shared grass weakness which isnt a big deal in this case. Galarian Weezing can also check Mienshao, which Slowking would rather avoid doing due to the risk of losing its Heavy-Duty Boots, and provide Toxic Spikes support to help further wear down switch ins in combination with Future Sight. Neutralising Gas variants in particular are excellent checks to Obstagoon and Heracross, and can help get Toxic Spikes up past Hatterene. Skarmory is another excellent option that can provide Spikes support, check Mienshao, idt mentioning checking shao is necessary bc like yea losing your boots sucks but you're still a perfect counter to it regardless so and deal with Grass-types like Roserade, Celebi, and Virizion that can take advantage of Slowking. Furthermore, its access to Whirlwind can create a dangerous combination with Slowking's Future Sight, by forcing in Pokemon like Galarian Weezing and Keldeo on the turn that it hits.

Furthermore, Teleport allows Slowking to take advantage of a lot of Pokemon that would otherwise pivot out on foes that can switch into it and check it, like Kyurem, Obstagoon, and Celebi, providing phenomenal pivot support, This doesn't seem all that necessary to state when your next line implies this. and allowing it to pivot out of bad matchups like Calm Mind Jirachi into an appropriate check. Future Sight is a powerful option on Slowking, helping it further support its offensive teammates like Mienshao by creating dangerous situations where the opponent cannot switch their check in llike Galarian Weezing without it being 2HKO'd after Future Sight, and pairs amazingly with the safe switch in that Teleport offers. Slack Off, however, is an option to allow Slowking to better check Pokemon like Keldeo and Starmie, while making it harder for Jirachi to flinch Slowking down, and giving Slowking another form of recovery outside of Regenerator. Swap these points around. Psyshock is necessary for Slowking to check Calm Mind variants of Keldeo, while offering a way of doing immediate damage to Water-type resists like Tentacruel and Roserade that would otherwise take advantage of you. I wouldn't even say Water-type resists. The ability to immediately threaten stuff like Mienshao is really valuable too for example. Toxic and Thunder Wave are both alternatives that Slowking can use over Future Sight; Change this to Slack off Toxic allows Slowking to cripple some of its switch-ins like Rotom-W, and Kyurem, as well as hitting opposing Slowking, while Thunder Wave can cripple foes like Jirachi, Mienshao, and Noivern, as well as Starmie attempting to stay in and break through you. Trick Room is also a niche option that can be used to support slower wallbreakers like Copperajah and Tyranitar, with Slowking's access to Teleport letting it safely bring in these teammates. I'm pretty against this and would remove it. This feels like something that needs a bit more exploration.

I would cut some of this down there really isn't much need to mention all of these things about 3 different sets for one Pokemon. For instance, your SubToxic point is kinda pointless when mixed or CM sets could do this anyways. Slowking also benefits from defensive checks to Pokemon like Krookodile, Obstagoon, and Heracross that can force it out for free wallbreaking opportunities, such as Galarian Weezing, Palossand and Skarmory. Galarian Weezing can also check Mienshao, which Slowking would rather avoid doing due to the risk of losing its Heavy-Duty Boots Just simplify this and say it takes pressure off Slowking having to check powerful Fighting-types. , and provide Toxic Spikes support to help further wear down switch ins in combination with Future Sight. Mention some foes it appreciates being weakened instead Neutralising Gas variants in particular are excellent checks to Obstagoon and Heracross, and can help get Toxic Spikes up past Hatterene. This feels pointless to mention when you bring up these same two in the initial point, you're just repeating the information that Weezing checks them. While this T-Spike point has some credit, offensive weezing can still do a decent job getting it up against it, especially non AV sets. If you want to bring up Hatt do so where I mentioned to add examples above. Skarmory is another excellent option You are mentioning this like you haven't brought it up before but you did so in the last point. that can provide Spikes support and deal with Grass-types like Roserade, Celebi, and Virizion that can take advantage of Slowking. Furthermore, its access to Whirlwind can create a dangerous combination with Slowking's Future Sight, by forcing in Pokemon like Galarian Weezing and Keldeo on the turn that it hits.

With having Future Sight as your initial point the team options has focused on it a lot. I've cut down two of the examples near the end to put less emphasis on this. If you see other places you can put less emphasis on this do so.
