I saw that UUPL manager signups went up recently - what is the process like for being a UUPL player? (ex: do I directly solicit managers or just enter in a thread that will come later?)

It probably won't be too relevant with the upcoming shifts but I wanted to ask why Comfey is UR on the recent Viability Rankings. Is it just too outclassed by other CM users?

What does Hydrapple do in the tier that makes it A- rank? Also, was the Spore Ban the reason why Amoonguss is in B rank?
Hydrapple does a lot! Grass/Dragon is actually not the worst defensive typing ever since we don't have a ton of Ice-types running around and it provides a decently fat Ground resistance. The statline is very solid, 106/110/80 bulk is very respectable (especially when combined with a free 33% heal every time you switch), and it's offensively nothing to sneeze at either. The general lack of Fairy-types means that Draco Meteor and/or fishing for Fickle Beam doubles is really free, and a +2 double power Fickle Beam hits really fucking hard. TL:DR it's fat and not passive at all and provides a lot to most teams, especially on balance

Amoonguss losing Spore was a part of why it's been falling off, but the meta in general just hasn't been as kind to it. Hydrapple taking its place as a Grass-type with Regenerator is notable, and so is the general uptick of a lot of things that beat Amoonguss and are not threatened by it at all. Latios, Torn-T, Zapdos, etc etc. Not having to worry about getting put to sleep is a big factor in these matchups, but the point is a lot of things now can just nuke Amoonguss with very few consequences, and the only things it really provides over Hydrapple are Clear Smog and access to hard recovery in Synthesis. Losing the Ground resistance really hurts it, and the general lack of any offensive presence means it's much freer to come in on. TL:DR Hydrapple does a lot of the things it did as a Regenerator Grass-type better, and losing Spore, while not completely debilitating, did get rid of something good and unique to it.

is Dragon dance Ttar viable and what would be good partners to make it more effective?
Dragon Dance Ttar is viable albeit difficult to pull off as it usually requires at least 2 DDs to actually be a fast enough threat. It fits mostly on hyper offense, particularly with screens support from Grimmsnarl. You could potentially run it on webs with a setter like Araquanid too. Tyranitar can struggle to break through Kommo-o and Keldeo so an offensive partner like Latios and Azumarill can support it well.

What's the best (or a list of) counter(s) to pecharunt?

Would Latios rather run Psychic or Psyshock (generally)?
Some examples would be Excadrill, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Tinkaton, Bisharp, and Empoleon. These can all pivot into it and either force it out through offensive pressure or in Tink's and Emp's case they can Encore and Haze/Roar respectively. Many other offensive Pokemon like Iron Crown and Latios also force it out despite being weak to Shadow Ball.

Latios mostly runs Luster Purge if using Psychic STAB. It's far stronger and the potential for a SpD drop can help it wallbreak better. Limited PP rarely matters.

Yep. In my limited experience, Bulky Ttar is better, but it's not like you can't use a more offensive variant. Typically you'd use it as a Sand Setter, and pair it with Mandibuzz and Sand Rush Excadrill for the core of your team.

Bisharp, Ursaluna, and Tyranitar all completely roll over Pecharunt. Specs Latios takes any one hit and OHKOs in return with Luster Purge if Pecharunt doesn't tera. Iron Moth does a good job if you bring either Tera Blast Ground or Psychic. AV Iron Crown can get the job done, just try to avoid switching into a Shadow Ball. Garchomp, Excadrill, and Scizor can all potentially come in and win, it depends on what set Pecha's running.
Would Latios rather run Psychic or Psyshock (generally)?
Neither. Typically Latios would use Luster Purge instead of either of those. Does more damage than psychic and has a 50% chance to drop SpDef. If you really must have one of those I'd recommend Psyshock to help beat special walls and CM sweepers.
