I'm stealing Albacore's idea and making a variant of his team for use on the UU ladder. Since I don't care for it all that much anyway (I'm more interested in NU), I may just play as my main account HermanGigglethorpe, but I'm tempted to make one called "SaunterDownwards" after a certain Terry Pratchett book. . .

I honestly wouldn't be suprised if you were to lose every single match. The average UU player is probably much better than the average Ubers player.

Or maybe TransFrisk teams are actually viable because they let you know everything about the opposing team. That would be hilarious.

Staraptor has Brave Bird, Detect, Aerial Ace, and some other move I can't remember! Opponent forfeited! :)

EDIT: I remember now. The 4th move was Agility.

Say what you will about your joke team, it's way more legit than mine. I mean, I run dual status Dusclops and Topsy-Turvy Parting Shot Transform Smeargle!

-Anyway, I just saw Float Stone Steelix. Then, he forfeited.
-White Herb Xerneas. Not Power Herb. White Herb.
-SubPunch Gengar with Shadow Ball. Well, it caught me off-guard.
-An Entei with Espeed, Calm Mind, Fire Blast... and Flamethrower.
-The same guy had a Suicune with Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Scald, and Facade.
-And a Victini with Blue Flare, V-Create, and Flamethrower.
-I didn't get to see what his Raikou had, but I'm assuming Thunderbolt, Thunder, Wild Charge and Return.
-Close Combat, Sky Attack, Areal Ace,and Protect Staraptor
-An Alakazam which dealt about as much damage to my Dusclops with Psycho Cut as he did with Energy Ball

I wouldn't call Protect all that silly a move even on an offensive type like Charizard. Even in Singles you can use it to scout or stall for time/Poison Heal/Leftovers. Of course, it's much better in something like Doubles or Triples.

Unfortunately, my SaunterDownwards alt has run into only good players today on the UU ladder. They even remember to bring a Ghost type so Curselax doesn't sweep them. :)

Really, Curselax is easy to beat. Aura Sphere users (or lucky Focus Blast hits), strong Fighting types, and even Taunt can give him a lot of problems (mine is 4 HP, max Defense, max Special Defense). Why do so many people lose to it?

On a non-silly note, Bisharp has a very strong Knock Off and some cool resistances. Try it in OU, kids! :)

Honestly, I feel like Zygarde should take advantage of its fairly solid defences by running HP/Sp. Def investment coupled with Coil, Extreme Speed, and any of Earthquake/Stone Edge/Dragon Claw. Sure, with a set like that it's not gonna outspeed anything much anytime soon, but hopefully anything it doesn't outspeed can't take the hit. If you don't care about taking Special Attacks well, you could run HP/Speed investment with the same set to actually outspeed some stuff. Your Defence and Attack will be pretty solid after a few Coil boosts, after all.

I was just going through Teambuilder and I realised that Magikarp's Revenge is a real move you can really use for real. I might give it to Smeargle.

Since this thread apparently encompasses Ubers, it should probably be renamed "Silly things you've seen on PS."

Magikarp's Revenge is indeed Showdown-only. It is also completely illegal outside of hackmons or customgame, as far as I know.

And Chatter has a 100% confusion rate, by the way.

Chatot was really fun to use in Winter's Wont because of that. You also see it more on the UU ladder than you might think.

INFO: Magikarp's Revenge is a 120 BP Physical Water type move that can't be learned by anything. It can only be used by a Magikarp; it fails otherwise. It lowers the opponent's Defense and Special Attack by 1 stage in addition to confusing them, makes it rain, and gives the user the effects of Aqua Ring and Magic Coat. The user must recharge for one turn after using the move.

-A Zygarde that used dragon pulse on a skarmory of all things
and a torrent greninja that used surf on ferrothorn
