My idea is more related to discord than showdown but requires a showdown bot.
Create a Discord bot than anyone can take into their server which connects to a Showdown bot.
You tell the Discord bot a Showdown command like "/dt gastrodon", for example. The Discord bot sends the request to a Showdown bot which sends back the result to Discord.
This would be very useful for team building in Discord especially for stuff like team tours.
I'm sure you could create a more sophisticated Discord bot that replicates the Showdown command which would respond with requests quicker.
But I think for simplicity this is the quickest and easiest implementation sense all the bots do is send information back and forth to each other.
