As one of the new drops to PU in October, Alcremie offers a variety of different offensive and defensive sets. This set takes advantage of its solid Special Attack stat, decent bulk and solid Fairy-typing to serve as a powerful wallbreaker that can force out Pokemon like Appletun and Throh, and offers a Dark resist unlike its competition in Galarian Rapidash. Psychic gives it perfect coverage as the last move, letting it threaten Poison-types like Mareanie and Silvally-Poison. Life Orb offers a greater damage output, noteably guaranteeing an OHKO against offensive Throh after Stealth Rock, but leftovers can be used to stop Alcremie being worn down as quickly. Alcremie appreciates pivot support from teammates like Unfezant and Raboot that can give it free wallbreaking opportunities versus targets like Mawile and Throh. Checks to Steel-types like Klinklang and Perserrker are also imporotant, as they can easily force Alcremie out. Stunfisk and Sandslash are great options and can wear them down with Rocky Helmet, while offering entry hazards support to wear down Alcremie's switch-ins like Silvally-Poison.
