[SET COMMENTS]
Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X is an extremely potent trapper thanks to its amazing Attack, useful Fighting-type STAB, good Speed tier, and decent bulk. Drain Punch is an incredible STAB move that OHKOes Mega Gyarados and increases Mega Mewtwo X's longevity. Alternatively, Low Kick allows Mega Mewtwo X to hit even harder, OHKOing Wonder Guard Slaking, physically defensive Arceus, and Mega Steelix after minimal chip. Precipice Blades allows Mega Mewtwo X to OHKO standard Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock and target Wonder Guard users weak to it, like Primal Groudon, Skuntank, and Mega Manectric; Thousand Arrows is a more accurate option that also targets niche Air Balloon Wonder Guard users. Sacred Fire is an alternative coverage option that targets Wonder Guard Mega Scizor, Genesect, and Escavalier and spreads burns against checks like Giratina. Bolt Strike and Power Whip OHKO all Primal Kyogre variants; additionally, the former targets Wonder Guard Gyarados, Yveltal, and Ho-Oh, while the latter threatens Mega Swampert. Gear Grind OHKOes standard Wonder Guard Xerneas and forces Shed Shell Mega Audino out; it can also threaten a heavily damaged Xerneas behind a Substitute. Knock Off and Play Rough both threaten Mega Latios and, to an extent, Magic Bounce Giratina. Knock Off also threatens Wonder Guard Cresselia and Dusclops, while Play Rough can threaten Mold Breaker Mega Rayquaza as well as most Yveltal variants. Trick is an option that disrupts most Wonder Guard users, namely Substitute + Baton Pass Xerneas and defensive Wonder Guard users like Primal Kyogre, Slaking, and Mega Audino; however, Mega Mewtwo X dislikes staying in on Xerneas if it lacks Gear Grind. The given EV spread allows Mega Mewtwo X to outspeed neutral natured Mold Breaker Rayquaza, Mega Latios, and Mega Diancie while allowing Mega Mewtwo X to more easily take hits from Pokemon it traps, like Lum Berry Mega Gyarados, Choice Band Primal Groudon, and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard Xerneas. An Adamant nature with either 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe or 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe outspeeds Modest Mega Latios and Mega Diancie, and Timid Mega Latios, though the former fails to outspeed neutral natured Mega Rayquaza and the latter is OHKOed much more often by Lum Berry Mega Gyarados's Sucker Punch and Lum Berry Huge Power Slaking and Regigigas's Extreme Speed. Alternatively, a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed positive natured Mega Rayquaza, Mega Latios, and Mega Diancie, though not running an Adamant nature leaves Mega Mewtwo X more vulnerable to healthy Primal Groudon.

Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X fits best on teams that appreciate its ability to trap and eliminate slower offensive foes, like most support Wonder Guard users lacking a Shed Shell. Giratina and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard Xerneas appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to revenge kill powerful attackers that would pose a threat to them, such as Protean Mega Latios and Choice Band Beat Up Primal Groudon. In return, Giratina can check Shell Smash Mold Breaker Primal Groudon while also providing paralysis support with Glare. Xerneas can pass Substitutes to Mega Mewtwo X, provide entry hazard support, and lure in its own offensive checks for Mega Mewtwo X to remove. Huge Power Dark-types, notably Mega Gyarados, can provide support against foes that Mega Mewtwo X cannot trap and KO, such as Mega Gengar, and threaten Prankster Giratina, which is Mega Mewtwo X's most prominent check.Offensive Mold Breaker users that threaten Giratina, such as Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Gengar, and Dialga, also work well with Mega Mewtwo X. Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo Y, in particular, can make use of Volt Switch to bring Mega Mewtwo X in against switch-ins vulnerable to Shadow Tag; the latter can also potentially lure Mega Gyarados in for Mega Mewtwo X to trap and remove. Offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Lucario, and No Guard users forgoing a Choice Scarf, like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Manectric, appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to trap and remove an opposing Wonder Guard user in a wide variety of matchups. Other Shadow Tag users, such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Latios, and even a second Mega Mewtwo X, are also valuable teammates, as together they can trap a wide array of opposing Wonder Guard users, paving the way for a Huge Power or No Guard teammate to sweep. Additionally, teammates that can remove foes' Shed Shells, like Trick users and Mold Breaker Knock Off users, are appreciated, as most Wonder Guard users are vulnerable to Mega Mewtwo X once their Shed Shell is removed. A priority revenge killer—such as -ate Speed Kyurem-B, Mega Abomasnow, and Mega Rayquaza—or Imposter user alongside Mega Mewtwo X forms a potent revenge killing core that threatens the vast majority of sweepers; however, teams running Mega Mewtwo X and Imposter Chansey struggle to check Mold Breaker Mega Gengar, so they appreciate defensive Pokemon like Wonder Guard Primal Kyogre, Blissey, and Mega Audino and non-Wonder Guard users like Ho-Oh and Yveltal. Defensive Wonder Guard users in general, such as Mega Scizor, Mega Beedrill, and Cresselia, also Imposter-proof Mega Mewtwo X (if it isn't running coverage that hits them) and provide Defog, Aromatherapy, and Wish support.

Other Options
=============
Both Shadow Tag and Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X can run nearly any physical coverage that is desired by a team, and Protean Mega Mewtwo Y can do the same with special coverage. However, many options require significant chip damage to OHKO or are hindered by King's Shield. Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X can run Choice Scarf + Trick to incapacitate many threats. It can also set up entry hazards against passive Pokemon trapped by this. If it keeps its Choice Scarf, it can revenge kill most bulky Mold Breaker Sweepers. Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X can run Choice Scarf as well, allowing it to OHKO faster threats. Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X can run priority moves to revenge kill common Mold Breaker Sweepers. It can run Life Orb to help with these rolls. Pursuit + Gastro Acid can be run to trap some Wonder Guard users. No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y can run Shed Shell to escape Shadow Tag users. Both Wonder Guard and No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y can run Taunt to shut down passive Wonder Guard users. King's Shield can be ran to protect itself from -ate Speed users. No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y can also run a variety of coverage options to target specific Wonder Guard users.a

Checks and Counters
===================

**Unfavorable Matchup**: In an unfavorable matchup, Mega Mewtwo X may not be able to remove opposing Pokemon due to them holding Shed Shells, being Ghost-types, or forcing Mega Mewtwo X out offensively. However, Trick sets can somewhat circumvent this by crippling defensive Pokemon that Mega Mewtwo X doesn't have the coverage to threaten.

**Giratina**: On teams running Shed Shell Wonder Guard users, all Giratina variants are able to switch into Mega Mewtwo X that lack Knock Off or Play Rough. Prankster Giratina is particularly annoying for Mega Mewtwo X, as unscouted Giratina can threaten a burn with Will-O-Wisp or paralysis with Glare, severely hampering Mega Mewtwo X's effectiveness. Giratina variants running Griseous Orb are also able to switch into Trick, draining the Mega Mewtwo X user's momentum. However, using Knock Off or Play Rough on the switch means Mega Mewtwo X can force Magic Bounce Giratina out, and a Pursuit trapper teammate, like Huge Power Mega Gyarados or Mega Tyranitar, can severely damage opposing Giratina and ease the prediction game; Trick can also cripple Giratina not running Griseous Orb. Additionally, Giratina cannot switch in if the opposing Pokemon is trapped by Shadow Tag.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar cannot be revenge killed by Mega Mewtwo X due to its immunity to Shadow Tag, and it can outspeed and force out standard Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X with Spooky Plate Judgment. However, Mega Gengar requires heavy pivoting support to come in safely, much of which tends to be run on Wonder Guard users vulnerable to Mega Mewtwo X.

**Faster Offensive Pokemon**: Offensive Pokemon that outspeed Choice Band Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X, like most opposing Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Choice Scarf Mega Rayquaza, can force Mega Mewtwo X out. However, most offensive threats that force Mega Mewtwo X out are unable to switch in safely, even if the Pokemon initially out against Mega Mewtwo X carries Shed Shell or is a Ghost-type. Mega Mewtwo X is also immune to Shadow Tag itself, so opposing Shadow Tag users are unable to trap and reliably KO it.

**Pursuit Trappers**: Pursuit trappers, like Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar, offensive Slaking, Regigigas, and Yveltal, can force out and heavily damage Mega Mewtwo X out if it is chipped. However, bulkier Mega Mewtwo X can stay in against Mega Gyarados, Slaking, Regigigas, and most Yveltal without a boosting item and OHKO them with super effective coverage options.

**Wonder Guard Users**: Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X is unable to remove Wonder Guard users that either carry Shed Shell or are Ghost-type, even if it has the coverage to KO them. That being said, Wonder Guard users reliant on Shed Shell can be crippled with Trick and potentially PP stalled if Mega Mewtwo X comes in on the now Choice-locked Wonder Guard user. Although Trick, Sing, Gastro Acid, and coverage moves can all help offset No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y's inability to beat most Wonder Guard users, it still requires team support to break most well-played Wonder Guard cores. Notably, Wonder Guard users immune to Trick—such as Mail Cresselia and Blue Orb Primal Kyogre—can be particularly difficult for Choice Scarf No Guard variants of Mega Mewtwo Y. Additionally, Magic Coat + Wonder Guard users can reflect Sing and Gastro Acid, draining the momentum Mega Mewtwo Y is usually so effective at maintaining.

**Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers like -ate Speed users and Huge Power Mega Gyarados force out all variants of No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y except for those using the rare King's Shield. Shadow Tag revenge killers such as Slaking and Regigigas are especially dangerous, as they always KO all but the very niche Shed Shell and King's Shield variants of Mega Mewtwo Y. Additionally, Choice Scarf No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y has to be particularly wary of locking itself into an unfavorable move versus teams with Huge Power Pursuit users like Mega Gyarados.

Thousand Arrows is a more accurate option which also targets niche Air Balloon Wonder Guard users. Sacred Fire is an alternative coverage option which targets Wonder Guard Mega Scizor, Genesect, and Escavalier, while also possessing potential utility in spreading burns against checks like Giratina. Alternatively, a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed Jolly or Timid Mega Rayquaza and Timid Mega Latios and Mega Diancie, though not running an Adamant nature leaves Mega Mewtwo X more vulnerable to healthy Primal Groudon.

Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X fits best on teams that appreciate its ability to trap and eliminate slower offensive foes as well as most support Wonder Guard users lacking a Shed Shell. Giratina and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard Xerneas appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to revenge kill powerful attackers that would pose a threat to both Pokemon, such as Protean Mega Latios and Choice Band Primal Groudon running Beat Up. In return, Giratina can check Shell Smash Mold Breaker Primal Groudon while also providing paralysis support against threats outspeeding Mega Mewtwo X if running Glare, and Xerneas can pass Substitutes to Mega Mewtwo X, provide hazard support that aids Mega Mewtwo X's its rolls against threats it is meant to trap, and invite offensive checks in for it to remove. Huge Power Dark-types, notably Mega Gyarados, can provide support against foes that Mega Mewtwo X cannot trap and KO, such as Mega Gengar, and can also threaten the most prominent check to Mega Mewtwo X in Prankster Giratina. Offensive Mold Breaker users that threaten Giratina, such as Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Gengar, and Dialga, also work well with Mega Mewtwo X. Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo Y in particular can make use of Volt Switch to bring Mega Mewtwo X in against switch-ins vulnerable to Shadow Tag; the latter can also potentially invite Mega Gyarados in for Mega Mewtwo X to trap and remove. Offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Lucario, appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to remove an opposing Wonder Guard user in a wide variety of matchups. Additionally, No Guard users forgoing a Choice Scarf, like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Manectric, appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's its potential to remove opposing Wonder Guard users. Having Shadow Tag users as teammates, like Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Latios, is also valuable as they can try to remove opposing Wonder Guard users, paving the way for a Huge Power or No Guard teammate to sweep. Having a priority revenge killer alongside Mega Mewtwo X, such as -ate Speed users like Kyurem-B, Mega Abomasnow, and Mega Rayquaza, or an Imposter user, forms a potent revenge killing core that threatens the vast majority of sweepers. However, teams running Mega Mewtwo X and Imposter Chansey struggle to check Mold Breaker Mega Gengar, so defensive Wonder Guard users that can check it, like Primal Kyogre, Blissey, and Mega Audino, as well as defensive non-Wonder Guard users like Ho-Oh and Yveltal, are appreciated. Finally, defensive Wonder Guard users in general, such as Mega Scizor, Mega Beedrill, and Cresselia, are excellent partners, as they can Imposter-proof Mega Mewtwo X sets forgoing coverage for them as well as provide Defog, Aromatherapy, and Wish support for Mega Mewtwo X. mention mold breaker knock off or trick teammates that can remove shed shells and make wgs easier to trap. also tried to fix a tiny bit fo the repetition, lots of Mega Mewtwo does this, Mega Mewtwo does that, Mega Mewtwo also can do this.

Other Options
=============

Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run alternative coverage options. Low Kick is an option over Drain Punch and Close Combat, as it OHKOes Wonder Guard Slaking and Arceus without dropping defenses; however, Drain Punch's healing and Close Combat's ability to power through the likes of Ho-Oh and support Yveltal more effectively if forgoing Bolt Strike are generally more useful. V-Create could be used to OHKO Mega Steelix with minimal chip on sets running Drain Punch, though it usually isn't worth it as Sacred Fire's burn utility is more valuable. Fusion Bolt is an alternative to Bolt Strike, as it's more accurate and ignores King's Shield while still KOing physically defensive Primal Kyogre after Stealth Rock. Petal Blizzard can be used over Power Whip and has the same benefits as Fusion Bolt, though it requires slightly more chip than Fusion Bolt does to KO Primal Kyogre and doesn't target as many non-Wonder Guard users. Iron Head and Poison Jab are more accurate than Gear Grind, but require Substitute + Baton Pass Xerneas to be chipped before Mega Mewtwo X can OHKO it. Beat Up could be run over Knock Off to avoid Mold Breaker King's Shield Mega Latios, though it usually requires all of Mega Mewtwo X's teammates to be healthy for it to hit harder than the initial Knock Off. Spikes is a fringe option that lets Mega Mewtwo X stack hazards against passive trapped Pokemon, such as Mega Audino lacking Shed Shell, though it's usually not worth it due to defensive Pokemon having absolutely no counterplay for offensive Shadow Tag users being very rare. Mega Mewtwo X can elect to carry a Choice Scarf instead of Choice Band to outspeed slower Mold Breaker sweepers, like Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga, after a Shell Smash; if running Choice Scarf, alternative spreads of 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe with an Adamant nature, 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature, and 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, and maximum speed Adamant Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, respectively. However, the power boost that Choice Band grants Mega Mewtwo X is more valuable for nearly every team. i think a brief mention of priority moves (specifically shadow sneak and bullet punch) is warranted because they can save you from setup mons (specifically xerneas and mega gengar) that aren't afraid of getting trapped since they're already faster. maybe less so bullet punch because you need pretty heavy chip to kill xern at -1 but def shadow sneak

i'd also mention how effective it can be when paired with ANOTHER stag attacker, specifically another mmx since you can play mindgames and essentially run coverage for everything with it. not sure if that goes in oo or teammates

Mega Mewtwo X can also run an offensive Wonder Guard set, with Shell Smash, Pixie Plate or Spooky Plate Judgment, Close Combat, and additional coverage to hit opposing Wonder Guard users, like Thousand Arrows, Sacred Fire, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, and Petal Blizzard. Gastro Acid could also work over a coverage move to threaten opposing Wonder Guard users in a wider range of matchups, though this leaves Mega Mewtwo X with less coverage moves to work with and more vulnerable to Wonder Guard users it cannot hit with phazing, a move that prevents it from being affected by Gastro Acid like Magic Coat, or an attack that ignores Wonder Guard and threatens Mega Mewtwo X, like Moonblast. However, other offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Gardevoir, or Mega Mewtwo Y, usually fulfill this role more effectively.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Giratina**: On teams running Shed Shell Wonder Guard users, all Giratina variants are able to switch into Mega Mewtwo X forgoing Knock Off or Play Rough. Prankster Giratina is particularly annoying for Mega Mewtwo X, as unscouted Giratina can threaten a burn with Will-O-Wisp or paralysis with Glare, severely hampering Mega Mewtwo X's effectiveness. Giratina variants running Griseous Orb are also able to switch in on Trick, losing the Mega Mewtwo X user momentum.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar cannot be revenged by Mega Mewtwo X due to its immunity to Shadow Tag, and can outspeed standard Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and force it out with Spooky Plate Judgment.

However, most offensive threats that force Mega Mewtwo X out are unable to switch in safely, even if the Pokemon initially out against Mega Mewtwo X carries Shed Shell or is a Ghost-type, and Mega Mewtwo X is immune to Shadow Tag itself, so opposing Shadow Tag users are unable to trap and reliably KO it.

**Pursuit Trappers**: Pursuit trappers, like Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar, offensive Slaking, Regigigas, and Yveltal, can force Mega Mewtwo X out if it is chipped and potentially heavily damage it with Pursuit. However, bulkier Mega Mewtwo X can stay in against Mega Gyarados, Slaking, Regigigas, and most Yveltal without a boosting item, and OHKO them with Drain Punch, Close Combat, or Bolt Strike.

**Untrappable Wonder Guard Users**: Wonder Guard users that either carry Shed Shell or are Ghost-type are unable to be trapped by Shadow Tag, and so they can't be removed by Mega Mewtwo X, even if it has the coverage to KO them. However, Wonder Guard users reliant on Shed Shell can be crippled with Trick, and potentially PP stalled if Mega Mewtwo X comes in on the now Choice-locked Wonder Guard user.

Priority in Bullet Punch and Mach Punch are options if a priority attack is desiredcould be used; Bullet Punch threatens offensive Wonder Guard Fairy-types and Mold Breaker Mega Diancie, while Mach Punch takes care of Wonder Guard Mega Lucario and Mold Breaker Mega Tyranitar. However, offensive Xerneas must be heavily chipped for Bullet Punch to KO after Shell Smash, Mega Mewtwo X cannot come in on most Pokemon Bullet Punch targets, and Mach Punch is ineffective useless in the majority of matchups. Spikes is a fringe option that lets Mega Mewtwo X stack hazards against passive trapped Pokemon, such as Mega Audino lacking Shed Shell, though it's usually not worth it, (comma) as due to defensive Pokemon almost always have some having absolutely no counterplay for offensive Shadow Tag users being very rare. However, the power boost that Choice Band grants Mega Mewtwo X is more valuable for nearly every team.

Gastro Acid could also work can also be used over a coverage move to threaten opposing Wonder Guard users in a wider range of matchups, though this leaves Mega Mewtwo X with less coverage moves to work with and more vulnerable to Wonder Guard users it cannot hit with phazing, a move that prevents it from being affected by Gastro Acid like Magic Coat, or an attack that ignores Wonder Guard and threatens Mega Mewtwo X, like Moonblast. However, other offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Gardevoir, or Mega Mewtwo Y, usually fulfill this role more effectively. Additionally, Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run a Choice Band Huge Power set, with Extreme Speed, Pursuit, alternative priority for Pokemon that Extreme Speed doesn't adequately threaten, and an attack to force virtually all opposing non-Wonder Guard users out. This set aims to revenge kill opposing sweepers, as well as trap most defensive non-Wonder Guard users, in particular Prankster Giratina lacking Will-O-Wisp. Bullet Punch, Water Shuriken, and Shadow Sneak are good options to complement Extreme Speed, and moves like Play Rough, Thousand Arrows, Beat Up, and Knock Off can work as non-priority attacks on Mega Mewtwo X. However, it is largely outclassed by Choice Band Huge Power Primal Groudon at this role, thanks to the latter's immunity to Will-O-Wisp and far superior physical bulk.

Checks and Counters
===================

Giratina variants running Griseous Orb are also able to switch in on Trick, losing draining the Mega Mewtwo X user‘s momentum.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar cannot be revenged by Mega Mewtwo X due to its immunity to Shadow Tag, and can outspeed standard Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and force it out with Spooky Plate Judgment.

Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X is an extremely potent trapper, (ac) thanks to its amazing Attack, useful Fighting-type STAB, good Speed tier, and decent bulk. Drain Punch is an incredible STAB move that OHKOes Mega Gyarados and increases Mega Mewtwo X's longevity. Alternatively, Low Kick allows Mega Mewtwo X to hit even harder, OHKOing Wonder Guard Slaking, physically defensive Arceus, and Mega Steelix after minimal chip. Precipice Blades allows Mega Mewtwo X to OHKO standard Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock, and also targets Wonder Guard users weak to it, like Primal Groudon, as well as most Skuntank and Mega Manectric. Thousand Arrows is a more accurate option that also targets niche Air Balloon Wonder Guard users. Sacred Fire is an alternative coverage option that hits targets Wonder Guard Mega Scizor, Genesect, and Escavalier, while also spreading possessing the ability to spread burns against checks like Giratina. Bolt Strike and Power Whip OHKO all Primal Kyogre variants. Additionally, The former targets Wonder Guard Gyarados, Yveltal, and Ho-Oh, (ac) while the latter threatens Mega Swampert. Gear Grind OHKOes standard Wonder Guard Xerneas and forces out Shed Shell Mega Audino out; it can also threaten a heavily damaged Xerneas behind a Substitute. Trick is an option that disrupts to disrupt most Wonder Guard users users' function, most importantly in particular Substitute + Baton Pass Xerneas and defensive Wonder Guard users like Primal Kyogre, Slaking, and Mega Audino. However, Mega Mewtwo X dislikes staying in on Xerneas if it lacks Gear Grind. The given EV spread allows Mega Mewtwo X to outspeed Adamant or Modest Mold Breaker Mega Rayquaza, (ac) as well as Modest Mega Latios and Mold Breaker Mega Diancie with an Adamant nature. (ap) The EV spread also allows while allowing Mega Mewtwo X to more easily take hits from Pokemon it traps, like Lum Berry Mega Gyarados, Choice Band Primal Groudon, and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard Xerneas. 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Spe with an Adamant nature and 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe with an Adamant nature are also usable spreads which outspeed Modest Mega Latios and Mega Diacnie, and Timid Mega Latios, respectively. (ap) However, though the former fails to outspeed Adamant or Modest Mega Rayquaza and the latter is OHKOed much more often by Lum Berry Mega Gyarados's Sucker Punch and Lum Berry Huge Power Slaking and Regigigas's Extreme Speed. Alternatively, a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed Jolly or Timid Mega Rayquaza and Timid Mega Latios and Mega Diancie, though not running an Adamant nature leaves Mega Mewtwo X more vulnerable to healthy Primal Groudon.

Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X fits best on teams that appreciate its ability to trap and eliminate slower offensive foes, as well as most support Wonder Guard users lacking a Shed Shell. Giratina and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard Xerneas appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to revenge kill powerful attackers that threaten would pose a threat to both Pokemon, such as Protean Mega Latios and Choice Band Primal Groudon running Beat Up. In return, Giratina can check Shell Smash Mold Breaker Primal Groudon while also providing paralysis support against threats that outspeed outspeeding Mega Mewtwo X with Glare. Xerneas can pass Substitutes to Mega Mewtwo X, provide entry hazard support, and lure in its own offensive checks for Mega Mewtwo X to remove. Huge Power Dark-types, notably Mega Gyarados, can provide support against foes that Mega Mewtwo X cannot trap and KO, such as Mega Gengar. (ap) They and can also threaten Mega Mewtwo X's most prominent check (rc) in Prankster Giratina. Offensive Mold Breaker users that threaten Giratina, such as Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Gengar, and Dialga, also work well with Mega Mewtwo X. Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo Y in particular can make use of Volt Switch to bring Mega Mewtwo X in against switch-ins vulnerable to Shadow Tag; the latter can also potentially lure Mega Gyarados in for Mega Mewtwo X to trap and remove. Offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Lucario, appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to trap and remove an opposing Wonder Guard user in a wide variety of matchups. Additionally, No Guard users forgoing a Choice Scarf, like Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Manectric, appreciate Mega Mewtwo X's ability to remove a wide variety of Wonder Guard users. Other Shadow Tag users, such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Latios, or even a second Mega Mewtwo X, are also valuable teammates, as together they can trap a wide array of opposing Wonder Guard users, paving the way for a Huge Power or No Guard teammate to sweep. Additionally, teammates that can remove foes' Shed Shells, like Trick users and Mold Breaker Knock Off users, are appreciated, as most Wonder Guard users are vulnerable to Mega Mewtwo X once their Shed Shell is removed. A priority revenge killer alongside Mega Mewtwo X—such as an -ate Speed user like Kyurem-B, Mega Abomasnow, and Mega Rayquaza—or an Imposter user. (ap) This forms a potent revenge killing core that threatens the vast majority of sweepers. Finally, Defensive Wonder Guard users in general, such as Mega Scizor, Mega Beedrill, and Cresselia, are excellent partners, as they can Imposter-proof Mega Mewtwo X sets forgoing coverage (this seems ambiguous to me; do you mean mewtwo forgoes coverage because it is imposter-proofed? if so I'd change it to "(ac) letting it forgo coverage moves.)" They can also provide valuable utility in for them as well as provide Defog, Aromatherapy, and Wish support for Mega Mewtwo X. (these changes are a lot more subjective so you don't have to implement these.)

Alternative move options like Close Combat over Low Kick and Drain Punch can be used on Mega Mewtwo X. Close Combat consistently OHKOes Slaking, Arceus, and the rare Wonder Guard Chansey. However, it lowers Mega Mewtwo X's defenses, making it easier for revenge killers like Huge Power Mega Gyarados to KO it. Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run alternative coverage options. Close Combat is an option over Drain Punch and Low Kick due to consistently OHKOing Pokemon weak to it, like Slaking, Arceus, and the occasional Wonder Guard Chansey, at once, though its advantages over the aforementioned two moves are limited and lowering Mega Mewtwo X's defenses can be problematic if a revenge killer, like Huge Power Mega Gyarados, is sent out after an opposing Pokemon is KOed. V-Create can could be used to OHKO Mega Steelix, (ac) with Drain Punch offsetting chip damage minimal chip on sets running Drain Punch, though it usually isn't worth forgoing the utility of Sacred Fire's high chance to burn. Fusion Bolt is a weaker but more accurate alternative to Bolt Strike that also ignores King's Shield and still OHKOes physically defensive Primal Kyogre after Stealth Rock. Petal Blizzard can be used over Power Whip and has the same benefits as Fusion Bolt, though it requires slightly more chip than Fusion Bolt to KO Primal Kyogre and doesn't target as many non-Wonder Guard users. Iron Head and Poison Jab are more accurate than Gear Grind, but require nearly all Xerneas to be chipped before Mega Mewtwo X can OHKO them it. Beat Up is an alternative to Knock Off that helps to avoid mind games versus Mold Breaker King's Shield Mega Latios, though it usually requires all of Mega Mewtwo X's teammates to be healthy for it to hit harder than Knock Off. Bullet Punch and Mach Punch are options if a priority attack is desired; Bullet Punch threatens offensive Wonder Guard Fairy-types and Mold Breaker Mega Diancie, while Mach Punch takes care of Wonder Guard Mega Lucario and Mold Breaker Mega Tyranitar. However, offensive Xerneas must be heavily chipped for Bullet Punch to KO after Shell Smash, Mega Mewtwo X cannot come in on most Pokemon Bullet Punch targets, and Mach Punch is useless in the majority of matchups. Spikes is a fringe option that lets Mega Mewtwo X stack hazards against passive trapped Pokemon, such as Mega Audino lacking Shed Shell, though it's usually not worth it, as defensive Pokemon almost always have some counterplay for offensive Shadow Tag users. A Choice Scarf instead of a Choice Band allows Mega Mewtwo X to outspeed slower Mold Breaker sweepers after a Shell Smash, like Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga. Alternate EV spreads of 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe with an Adamant nature, 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature, and 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature let Mega Mewtwo X outspeed Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, and maximum speed Adamant Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, respectively. However, Mega Mewtwo X prefers Choice Band for the immediate power boost. Mega Mewtwo X can carry a Choice Scarf instead of Choice Band to outspeed slower Mold Breaker sweepers, like Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga, after a Shell Smash; if running Choice Scarf, alternative EV spreads of 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe with an Adamant nature, 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature, and 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, and maximum speed Adamant Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, respectively. However, the power boost that Choice Band grants Mega Mewtwo X is more valuable for nearly every team.

Gastro Acid can also be used over a coverage move to threaten opposing Wonder Guard users in a wider range of matchups, though this leaves Mega Mewtwo X with less coverage moves to work with and makes it more vulnerable to Wonder Guard users it cannot hit with phazing, a move that prevents it from being affected by Gastro Acid like Magic Coat, or an attack that ignores Wonder Guard and threatens Mega Mewtwo X, like Moonblast. As a result However, other offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Gardevoir, and or Mega Mewtwo Y, usually fulfill this role more effectively. Additionally, Mega Mewtwo X can also opt to run a Choice Band Huge Power set, with Extreme Speed, Pursuit, alternative priority for Pokemon that Extreme Speed doesn't adequately threaten, and an attack to force virtually all opposing non-Wonder Guard users out. This set aims to revenge kill opposing sweepers, as well as trap most defensive non-Wonder Guard users, most notably in particular Prankster Giratina lacking Will-O-Wisp. Bullet Punch, Water Shuriken, and Shadow Sneak are good options to complement Extreme Speed, and moves like Play Rough, Thousand Arrows, Beat Up, and Knock Off can work as non-priority attacks on Mega Mewtwo X. However, it is largely outclassed by Choice Band Huge Power Primal Groudon at this role, thanks to its the latter's immunity to Will-O-Wisp and far superior physical bulk.

(rest of oo copypasted from no guard mmy analysis)

Leftovers is an option on No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y sets that can to offset the chip damage it tends to accumulate throughout a game, but Mega Mewtwo Y’s frailty means it usually doesn't make a difference. Shed Shell is an option that lets it to escape Shadow Tag revenge killers such as Regigigas and Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, but it has minimal utility otherwise.

Spider Web is an option on the Focus Sash + No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y set to trap and KO Wonder Guard users lacking Shed Shell in tandem with Gastro Acid and Sing. However, such sets require good prediction to use effectively and perform inconsistently against opponents who play carefully. Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web are alternate entry hazard options over Stealth Rock, each with their own advantages. Taunt is an option over Gastro Acid that bypasses Substitute and can also force out defensive and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard users. However, Gastro Acid functions more effectively in the majority of circumstances. King's Shield is an option that forces to force out -ate Speed users attempting to revenge kill Mega Mewtwo Y. No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y can also make use of a wide array of coverage options in addition to the ones listed above—such as Seed Flare, Moonblast, Dynamic Punch, Bug Buzz, Night Daze, and Steam Eruption. HoweverNote, however, that these options have narrow applications and should be chosen based on specific teambuilding needs.

Checks and Counters

Additionally, Giratina also cannot switch in if the opposing Pokemon is trapped by Shadow Tag.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar cannot be revenged by Mega Mewtwo X due to its immunity to Shadow Tag, and can outspeed standard Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and force it out with Spooky Plate Judgment. However, Mega Gengar requires heavy pivoting support to come in safely, most much of which tends to be run on Wonder Guard users vulnerable to Mega Mewtwo X.

However, Wonder Guard users reliant on Shed Shell can be crippled with Trick, and potentially PP stalled if Mega Mewtwo X comes in on the now Choice-locked Wonder Guard user. copypasted what comes after Although Trick, Sing, Gastro Acid, and coverage moves can all help offset No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y's inability to beat most Wonder Guard users, it still requires team support to break most well-played Wonder Guard cores.

(copypasted) **Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers like -ate Speed users and Huge Power Mega Gyarados force out all variants of No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y except for those using the rare King's Shield.

Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run alternative coverage options. Close Combat is an alternative to Drain Punch and Low Kick that consistently OHKOes Pokemon with a weakness to Fighting, like Slaking, Arceus, and the rare Wonder Guard Chansey; that being said, the defense drop Close Combat makes Mega Mewtwo X more vulnerable to revenge killers like Huge Power Mega Gyarados. an option over Drain Punch and Low Kick due to consistently OHKOing Pokemon weak to it, like Slaking, Arceus, and the occasional Wonder Guard Chansey, at once, though its advantages over the aforementioned two moves are limited and lowering Mega Mewtwo X's defenses can be problematic if a revenge killer, like Huge Power Mega Gyarados, is sent out after an opposing Pokemon is KOed. Mega Mewtwo X can use V-create to OHKO Mega Steelix while mitigating chip damage with Drain Punch, but typically does not want to lose Sacred Fire's high burn chance.V-Create could be used to OHKO Mega Steelix with minimal chip on sets running Drain Punch, though it usually isn't worth forgoing the utility of Sacred Fire's high chance to burn. Fusion Bolt and Petal Blizzard notably ignore King's Shield but are weaker alternatives to Bolt Strike and Power Whip, respectively; Fusion Bolt has better coverage against non-Wonder Guard users and OHKOes physically defensive Primal Kyogre after Stealth Rock, while Petal Blizzard requires slightly more chip damage to do so. Fusion Bolt is a weaker but more accurate alternative to Bolt Strike that also ignores King's Shield and still OHKOes physically defensive Primal Kyogre after Stealth Rock. Beat Up is an alternative to Knock Off to avoid mind(space)games versus Mold Breaker King's Shield Mega Latios.(period), though it usually requires all of Mega Mewtwo X's teammates to be healthy for it to hit harder than Knock Off. ("beat up is only powerful with healthy teammates" = dex info) Bullet Punch and Mach Punch are options if a priority attack is desired; Bullet Punch threatens offensive Wonder Guard Fairy-types and Mold Breaker Mega Diancie, while Mach Punch takes care of Wonder Guard Mega Lucario and Mold Breaker Mega Tyranitar. However, offensive Xerneas must be heavily chipped for Bullet Punch to KO after Shell Smash, Mega Mewtwo X cannot come in on most Pokemon Bullet Punch targets, and Mach Punch is useless in the majority of matchups. (If they're this awful, why even include them?) Spikes is a fringe option that lets Mega Mewtwo X stack hazards against passive trapped Pokemon, such as Mega Audino lacking Shed Shell, though it's usually not worth it, as defensive Pokemon almost always have some counterplay for offensive Shadow Tag users. Mega Mewtwo X can carry a Choice Scarf instead of Choice Band to outspeed slower Mold Breaker sweepers, like Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga, after a Shell Smash; if running Choice Scarf, alternative EV spreads of 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe with an Adamant nature, 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature, and 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature could be used to outspeed Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, and maximum sS(capitalize)peed Adamant Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, respectively. However, the power boost that Choice Band grants Mega Mewtwo X is more valuable for nearly every team.

Mega Mewtwo X can also run an offensive Wonder Guard set,(comma) with Shell Smash, Pixie Plate or Spooky Plate Judgment, Close Combat, and additional coverage to hit opposing Wonder Guard users, like Thousand Arrows, Sacred Fire, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, and Petal Blizzard. Gastro Acid can also be used over a coverage move to threaten opposing Wonder Guard users in a wider range of matchups, though this leaves Mega Mewtwo X with less coverage moves and increased vulnerabilityto work with and more vulnerable to Wonder Guard users it cannot hit with phazing, a movemoves that prevents(remove) it from being affected by Gastro Acid like Magic Coat, orand attacks that ignore Wonder Guard and threaten an attack that ignores Wonder Guard and threatens Mega Mewtwo X, like Moonblast;(semicolon). Hh(lowercase)owever, other offensive Wonder Guard users, like Xerneas, Mega Gardevoir, orand Mega Mewtwo Y, usually fulfillperform this role more effectively. Additionally, Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run a Choice Band Huge Power set,(comma) with Extreme Speed, Pursuit, alternative priority for Pokemon that Extreme Speed doesn't adequately threaten, and coverage an attack to force virtually all opposing non-Wonder Guard users out. This set aims to revenge kill opposing sweepers, as well asand trap most defensive non-Wonder Guard users, namelyin particular Prankster Giratina lacking Will-O-Wisp. Bullet Punch, Water Shuriken, and Shadow Sneak are good options to complement Extreme Speed, and moves like Play Rough, Thousand Arrows, Beat Up, and Knock Off can work as non-priority attacks on Mega Mewtwo X. However, it is largely outclassed by Choice Band Huge Power Primal Groudon, which has more physical bulk and an immunity to Will-O-Wisp. at this role, thanks to the latter's immunity to Will-O-Wisp and far superior physical bulk.

[remove extra line break too]

Leftovers is an option on No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y sets to offset the chip damage it tends to accumulate throughout a game, but Mega Mewtwo Y’s frailty means it usually doesn't make a difference. Shed Shell is an option to escape Shadow Tag revenge killers such as Regigigas and Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, but it has minimal utility otherwise.

Taunt is an option over Gastro Acid that bypasses Substitute and can also force out defensive and Substitute + Baton Pass Wonder Guard users;(semicolon). Hh(lowercase)owever, Gastro Acid functions more effectively in the majority of circumstances. King's Shield is an option to force out -ate Speed users attempting to revenge kill Mega Mewtwo Y. No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y can also make use of a wide array of coverage options in addition to the ones listed above—such as Seed Flare, Moonblast, Dynamic Punch, Bug Buzz, Night Daze, and Steam Eruption. Note, however, that these options have narrow applications and should be chosen based on specific teambuilding needs.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Giratina**: On teams running Shed Shell Wonder Guard users, all Giratina variants are able to switch into Mega Mewtwo X forgoingthat lack Knock Off or Play Rough. Prankster Giratina is particularly annoying for Mega Mewtwo X, as unscouted Giratina can threaten a burn with Will-O-Wisp or paralysis with Glare, severely hampering Mega Mewtwo X's effectiveness. Giratina variants running Griseous Orb are also able to switch into on Trick, draining the Mega Mewtwo X user's momentum.

**Mega Gengar**: Mega Gengar cannot be revengedrevenge killed by Mega Mewtwo X due to its immunity to Shadow Tag,(comma) and it can outspeed and force out standard Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X and force it out with Spooky Plate Judgment.

However, most offensive threats that force Mega Mewtwo X out are unable to switch in safely, even if the Pokemon initially out against Mega Mewtwo X carries Shed Shell or is a Ghost-type.(period), and Mega Mewtwo X is also immune to Shadow Tag itself, so opposing Shadow Tag users are unable to trap and reliably KO it.

**Pursuit Trappers**: Pursuit trappers, like Mega Gyarados, Mega Tyranitar, offensive Slaking, Regigigas, and Yveltal, can force out and heavily damage Mega Mewtwo X out if it is chipped.(period) and potentially heavily damage it with Pursuit. However, bulkier Mega Mewtwo X can stay in against Mega Gyarados, Slaking, Regigigas, and most Yveltal without a boosting item,(comma) and OHKO them with super effective coverage options. Drain Punch, Close Combat, or Bolt Strike.

**Wonder Guard Users**: Shadow Tag Mega Mewtwo X is unable to remove Wonder Guard users that either carry Shed Shell or are Ghost-type, even if it has the coverage to KO them. However, That being said, Wonder Guard users reliant on Shed Shell can be crippled with Trick,(comma) and potentially PP stalled if Mega Mewtwo X comes in on the now Choice-locked Wonder Guard user. copypasted what comes after Although Trick, Sing, Gastro Acid, and coverage moves can all help offset No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y's inability to beat most Wonder Guard users, it still requires team support to break most well-played Wonder Guard cores.

(copypasted) **Revenge Killers**: Revenge killers like -ate Speed users and Huge Power Mega Gyarados force out all variants of No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y except for those using the rare King's Shield.

Close Combat is an alternative to Drain Punch and Low Kick that consistently OHKOes Pokemon with a weakness to Fighting, like Slaking, Arceus, and the rare Wonder Guard Chansey; that being said, the defense drop Close Combat makes Mega Mewtwo X more vulnerable to revenge killers like Huge Power Mega Gyarados. at the cost of leaving Mega Mewtwo X vunerable to revenge killers because of its defense drops. Mega Mewtwo X can use V-create to OHKO Mega Steelix while mitigating chip damage with Drain Punch, but typically does not want to lose Sacred Fire's high burn chance. not relevant enough to justify putting in Fusion Bolt and Petal Blizzard notably ignore King's Shield but are weaker alternatives to Bolt Strike and Power Whip, respectively; Fusion Bolt has better coverage against non-Wonder Guard users and OHKOes physically defensive Primal Kyogre after Stealth Rock, while Petal Blizzard requires slightly more chip damage to do so. Iron Head and Poison Jab are more accurate than Gear Grind, but require nearly all Xerneas to be chipped before Mega Mewtwo X can OHKO them. Beat Up is an alternative to Knock Off to avoid mind games versus Mold Breaker King's Shield Mega Latios. Bullet Punch threatens offensive Wonder Guard Fairy-types and Mold Breaker Mega Diancie, while Mach Punch takes care of Wonder Guard Mega Lucario and Mold Breaker Mega Tyranitar. However, offensive Xerneas must be heavily chipped for Bullet Punch to KO after Shell Smash. Mega Mewtwo X cannot come in on most Pokemon Bullet Punch targets, and Mach Punch is useless in the majority of matchups. redundant Spikes is a fringe an option that lets Mega Mewtwo X stack hazards against passive trapped Pokemon, but can struggle due to most defensive Pokemon having counterplay for Shadow Tag users., such as Mega Audino lacking Shed Shell, though it's usually not worth it, as defensive Pokemon almost always have some counterplay for offensive Shadow Tag users. Mega Mewtwo X can carry a Choice Scarf instead of Choice Band to outspeed slower Mold Breaker sweepers, like Primal Groudon, Mega Tyranitar, and Dialga, after a Shell Smash; if running Choice Scarf, alternative EV spreads of 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spe with an Adamant nature, 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature, and 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe with a Jolly nature outspeed Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, Deoxys-S, and maximum Speed Adamant Primal Groudon after a Shell Smash, respectively. However, the power boost that Choice Band grants Mega Mewtwo X is more valuable for nearly every team. Mega Mewtwo X can run Choice Scarf + Trick on its Shadow Tag sets to trap and incapacitate many threats such as Substitute + Baton Pass Xerneas and Wonder Guard users lacking Shed Shell. If Mega Mewtwo X keeps its Choice Scarf, it can outpace bulky Mold Breaker Sweepers, such as Dialga and Primal Groudon, after a Shell Smash and OHKO them with coverage moves.

Mega Mewtwo X can also run an offensive Wonder Guard set with Shell Smash, Pixie Plate or Spooky Plate Judgment, Close Combat, and additional coverage to hit opposing Wonder Guard users, like Thousand Arrows, Sacred Fire, Knock Off, Gunk Shot, and Petal Blizzard. Additionally, Mega Mewtwo X can opt to run a Choice Band Huge Power set with Extreme Speed, Pursuit, alternative priority for Pokemon that Extreme Speed doesn't adequately threaten, and coverage an attack to force virtually all opposing non-Wonder Guard users out. This set aims to revenge kill opposing sweepers and trap most defensive non-Wonder Guard users, namely Prankster Giratina lacking Will-O-Wisp.

Leftovers is an option on No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y sets to offset the chip damage it tends to accumulate throughout a game, but Mega Mewtwo Y’s frailty means it usually doesn't make a difference. Shed Shell is an option on No Guard Mega Mewtwo Y to escape Shadow Tag revenge killers such as Regigigas and Choice Scarf Primal Groudon, but it has minimal utility otherwise. Some other Coverage moves may be on Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X used such as Drill Peck to target Mega Beedrill, Ludicolo, Volcorona, and even opposing Wonder Guard Mega Mewtwo X. Freeze dry is an option to hit Mega Swampert and Gyarados but the power loss hurts when facing Primal Kyogre and Mega Gyarados. Some other priority moves may be used such as Shadow Sneak, Ice Shard, Mach Punch, or Extreme Speed. Shadow Sneak to revenge kills Mega Gengar. Ice Shard revenge kills non-Aerialate Mega Rayquaza, Zekrom, and Mega Latios. Mach Punch is weak but does great damage to Shell Smash Dialga and Mega Tyranitar. Extreme Speed is a powerful priority move for revenge killing but is hindered by Dialga, Mega Tyrantar, Mega Gengar, Wonder Guards, and anything running King's Shield. resists, immunities, and Wonder Guard users. Precipice Blades could be used over Thousand Arrows for damage but it , can miss and can't hit non-grounded Pokemon. Bonemerang has the same issues as Precipice Blades but it can break substitutes. Bonemerang can miss and doesn't hit non-grounded Pokemon, but it has more power than Thousand Arrows and can break Substitutes. Horn Leech can OHKO Mega Swampert and Primal Kyogre while giving recovery but is affected by Kings Shield. Pursuit is an option for a dark move in combination with Gastro Acid to act as a pseudo-trapper but Mega Gyarados does this job better and Knock Off and Beat Up still hit harder. Pusuit + Gastro Acid is an option on Huge Power Mega Mewtwo X, but Mega Gyaradoes outclasses it in this role. Switcheroo is an option if Mega Mewtwo X runs choice items. Mega Mewtwo X is extremely versatile and can run many other moves but these are generally its best alternatives. Choice Band, Expert Belt or Life Orb may be used for slightly more damage but Expert Belt's targets are narrowed, Life Orb has HP loss, and being locked to one move can be a huge hindrance. Choice Band, Expert Belt, or Life Orb may be used, but the extra damage is rarely needed outside of priority moves mentioned above. Choice Scarf can help improve speed and outpace some faster Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Deoxys-Speed.

I tried, I really did. There's just too much that Mewtwos can do. If we were to cut anymore, important info about these sets will be lost. This isn't even the end, either, we have Protean MMY and Choice Specs MMY to do as well.
