EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
- Poison Jab

This Scrafty serves as a crafty lure to Fairy-types, using Poison Jab to target typical switch-ins like Ribombee and Whimsicott. Shed Skin and Substitute allow Scrafty to be a superb status absorber, taking advantage of bulkier teams. Knock Off and Close Combat are strong STAB moves that provide utility and damage, respectively. Despite having coverage for Fairy-types, Scrafty still appreciates Steel-types like Doublade and Togedemaru to switch into them. In turn, Scrafty can pressure opposing Steel-types or passive walls like Regirock and Audino. Wallbreakers like Galarian Articuno and Choice Band Aggron can help soften up defensive answers that could otherwise handle Scrafty’s initial assault. In return, Scrafty can pivot into status moves and provide utility with Knock Off.

This Scrafty serves a crafty lure to Fairy-types, using Poison Jab to target typical switch-ins like Ribombee and Whimsicott! why is this an exclamation point idgi period is fine Shed Skin and Substitute allow Scrafty to be a superb status absorber, capitalizing on bulkier builds. Knock Off and Close Combat provide both utility and damage output, respectively, while still serving STAB moves. Despite having coverage against Fairy-types, Steel-types like Doublade and Togedemaru are still appreciated to provide a defensive core. In turn, Scrafty can pressure opposing Steel-types or passive walls like Regirock and Audino. Hazard setters like Gigalith and Garbodor can make Scrafty increasingly harder to switch into throughout a game; the latter can also switch into most Fairy and Fighting-types reliably. In return, Scrafty can pivot into status moves and provide utility with Knock Off, racking up damage with hazard support. honestly I'd kinda rather give offensive partners that're better than hazard setters. What can go ham if this does its job? Hazard setters are just so bog standard for everything it doesn't feel as impactful
very fine, 1/1, but I'd still like the ending bit changed to offensive partners
