Sandy Shocks is a niche pivot thanks to its ability to switch into threats like Tornadus-T and Tapu Koko. Tera Blast with Tera Ice allows Sandy Shocks to blast through Ground- and Flying-types that are immune to its STAB moves like Garchomp, Dragonite, and most notably, Landorus-T. Alternatively, Tera Grass with Tera Blast is another option to hit Mega Swampert and Gastrodon super effectively and gives it a resistance to Ground, although it becomes completely ruined by Gliscor. If not using Tera Blast, Stealth Rock and Spikes allow Sandy Shocks to support its teammates by wearing down threats like Skeledirge, Gholdengo, and Tornadus-T. Tera Ground allows Sandy Shocks to boost the power of Earth Power, take less entry hazard damage, and shed its Ground weakness. Pokemon that appreciate being safely brought in like Heatran, Dragapult, and Annihilape against threats to it such as Ferrothorn, Dragonite, and Weavile are great partners for Sandy Shocks. Knock Off support from Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Great Tusk allows Sandy Shocks to capitalize on chipping down switch-ins like Dragonite and Tornadus-T. Sandy Shocks struggles against Ground-types without Tera Blast or if another teammate Terastallizes, therefore, Pokemon that threaten them such as Kartana, Walking Wake, and Weavile are great teammates.

Sandy Shocks is a great pivot in National Dex due to STAB Volt Switch and its ability to switch into threats like Kingambit, Gholdengo, and Heatran. ok so, shocks isn't actually that good, and i think "decent" would be overselling it too. you don't actually switch in on these mons either. reword to not make it sound as good + provide mons you actually switch into like koko torn etc. Thunderbolt punishes common threats like Tornadus-T, Rotom-W, rotom isnt that good of an example considering it's neutral, replace w smth else and Urshifu-R while Earth Power hits common threats that it can switch into. like? Tera Blast with Tera Ice allows Sandy Shocks to blast through Ground- and Flying-types that are immune to its STABs "STAB moves" like, Garchomp, Dragonite, and most notably, Landorus-T. Tera Grass is another option to hit Mega Swampert gastrodon as well super effectively and give it a resistance to Ground-type moves. which lets it do what? Stealth Rock and Spikes allow Sandy Shocks to support its teammates to wear down threats like Skeledirge, Gholdengo, and Tornadus-T. Tera Ground allows Sandy Shocks to boost the power of Earth Power and shed its Ground weakness. mention that this is specifically used with entry hazards A Timid nature and the given EV spread allow Sandy Shocks to reach its full offensive potential. max max is p obvious, this is filler Sandy Shocks is a great pivot with Volt Switch; again, don't oversell it therefore, Pokemon that appreciate being safely against what pokemon? (i.e. mention what you force in) brought like Heatran, Dragapult, and Annihilape are great partners for Sandy Shocks. If Sandy Shocks doesn’t carry entry hazards in its moveset, entry hazard setters like Clodsire and Garchomp make for great partners because the entry hazards they set wear down the switches Sandy Shocks forces out. Alternatively, it can form a hazard stacking core with entry hazard setters and Gholdengo to maximize the use of the entry hazards. everything appreciates entry hazards, so unless you specify, this isn't needed Knock Off support from Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Great Tusk allows Sandy Shocks to capitalize on chipping down the switches it forces. to wear down what pokemon specifically? Sandy Shocks struggles against Ground-types, should another teammate use Tera, therefore, Pokemon that threaten them such as Kartana, Mega Swampert, and Mega Gyarados only used on rain + ho respectively, bring up other teammates that beat grounds; defensive mons work too. are great teammates.

sets are one paragraph btw

Sandy Shocks is a good niche pivot in National Dex due to STAB Volt Switch and its ability to switch into threats like Tornadus and Tapu Koko. Thunderbolt punishes common threats like Tornadus-T, Mega Charizard-Y, and Urshifu-R while Earth Power hits common threats that it can switch into such as Tapu Koko, Skeledirge, and Mega Diancie. iirc u dont have to mention stabs, keep this in if im wrong tho Tera Blast with Tera Ice allows Sandy Shocks to blast through Ground- and Flying-types that are immune to its STAB moves like, Garchomp, Dragonite, and most notably, Landorus-T. Tera Grass is another option to hit Mega Swampert and Gastrodon super effectively and give it a resistance to Ground-type moves. Stealth Rock and Spikes allow Sandy Shocks to support its teammates to wear down threats like Skeledirge, Gholdengo, and Tornadus-T, although it becomes completely ruined by a common defogger in Gliscor. If not using Tera Blast, Tera Ground allows Sandy Shocks to boost the power of Earth Power, take less entry hazard damage, and shed its Ground weakness. Sandy Shocks is a good pivot with Volt Switch; therefore, Pokemon that appreciate being safely brought in like Heatran, Dragapult, and Annihilape against threats to it such as Ferrothorn, Dragonite, and Weavile are great partners for Sandy Shocks. Knock Off support from Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Great Tusk allows Sandy Shocks to capitalize on chipping down the switches it forces like Dragonite and Tornadus-T. Sandy Shocks struggles against Ground-types, should another teammate use Tera without Tera Blast or if another teammate uses Tera, therefore, Pokemon that threaten them such as Kartana, Dragonite, Walking Wake, idt dnite loves switching into any grounds, this is much more relevant and Weavile are great teammates.

Sandy Shocks is a niche pivot thanks to in National Dex due to STAB Volt Switch and its ability to switch into threats like Tornadus-T and Tapu Koko. stating it has volt switch isn't needed, we know it's electric type, it's gonna pivot with volt switch, as it doesn't have any other option Tera Blast with Tera Ice allows Sandy Shocks to blast through Ground- and Flying-types that are immune to its STAB moves like (rc) Garchomp, Dragonite, and most notably, Landorus-T. Alternatively, Tera Grass with Tera Blast hits is another option to hit Mega Swampert and Gastrodon super effectively and gives give it a resistance to Ground-type moves, although it becomes completely ruined by a common defogger in Gliscor. if it's not running a hazard this isn't relevant If not using Tera Blast, Stealth Rock and Spikes allow Sandy Shocks to support its teammates by wearing to wear down threats like Skeledirge, Gholdengo, and Tornadus-T.
