Hisuian Samurott is a great all-rounder for many teams as a hazard setter and damage dealer in NatDex OU with it being able to use Ceaseless Edge, letting it attack and set entry hazards in the same turn. Black Glasses increases Hisuian Samurott's Dark-type attacks' power letting it threaten faster threats like Ogerpon-W with Sucker Punch after setup. Swords Dance lets Hisuian Samurott deal great damage and threaten bulkier Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Alomomola while bolstering the aforementioned Sucker Punch to turn it into a potent wincon. Encore is beneficial against slower foes, such as Toxapex that used Recover or Haze the previous turn, locking them into an unfavorable move. Tera Poison lets Hisuian Samurott tank attacks from Fairy- and Fighting-types like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Mega Lopunny. Tera Dark is another great option, as it further boosts Hisuian Samurott's Dark-type attacks. Ferrothorn is a great defensive partner for Hisuian Samurott, as it comes in on threats like Ogerpon-W and Tapu Koko that threaten it. Galarian Slowking is another partner that helps take on Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Zamazenta, as well as using Chilly Reception to help bring Hisuian Samurott on the field.

Razor Shell is a solid STAB option for Hisuian Samurott with a chance of lowering foes defense, and its damage is further enhanced thanks to Sharpness. Sucker Punch threatens faster foes such as Ogerpon-W, Mega Medicham, and Tornadus-Therian. Swords Dance lets Hisuian Samurott deal great damage and threaten bulkier Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Alomomola while bolstering the aforementioned Sucker Punch to turn it into a potent wincon. Hisuian Samurott can also run Encore against slower foes, such as Garganacl Toxapex that used Recover the previous turn, locking them into an unfavorable move. Tera Poison lets Hisuian Samurott tank attacks from Fairy- and Fighting-types like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Mega Lopunny. Tera Dark is another great option as it further increases Hisuian Samurott's Dark-type attacks. poison is used on sd while dark is used on encore, be sure to specifiy this Ferrothorn is a great defensive parter for Hisuian Samurott as it comes in on threats like Ogerpon-W and Tapu Koko that threaten it. Toxapex is another valuable partner that tanks Fighting-type like Mega Lopunny, Urshifu-RS, and Zamazenta; in return Hisuian Samurott helps threaten Galarian Slowking. id do gking instead of pex, its more geared towards the offenses hsam is on typically and helps cover lele, ival, zama still
