Welcome all to the RU Awards 2023 edition! This exciting new project wraps up a momentous year that witnessed the ninth generation emerge onto the scene. A total of 34 categories have been created for these awards. For the first phase, you will have to fill them however you like, and the top answers will make it to the second phase, where we will elect the winner of each categories. Each voting session will be open for a week and the final results will be shared in this thread. Cast your vote & crown the champions!

Soooo, voting phase is over and results are in:

Starting up with best overall RU, with 38.2%, Feliburn comes up in first, followed by a 32.4 on Ajna in second, 20.6% franklin in third and Baldo with a 8.8% in last

Following up with best current gen player, Beraldo topped it off with 32.4%, Feliburn in second place with a close 29.4%, Star in third with 23.5% and Evi in 4th with 14.7%

As for our last gen, SS RU has TheFranklin as first place with 41.2%, followed by the bluest bird, Blubird in second with 26.5%, Feliburn in third with 23.5, and Baldo in 4th with 8.8%

Solrock and Lunatone RU has Ajna in first with a 38.2%, cyanize with 23.5% in second, odr in third with 17.6%, feliburn in 4th with 11.6 and xiri in 5th with 8.8%

in ORAS, once again, we have Ajna in first with 41.2%, Feli in second with 38.2% and Chaitanya in third with 20.6%

As for BW RU, we have our first tie between both Finchinator and Goldcat , The RNG followed up with 29.4% LMAOOO, and Ninjadog with 5.9%

As for our most recent old gen, Feliburn took the lead with 44.1%, Queen of Bean following with 32.4 and elligton with 23.5%

as for context, angels cats were 1, goldcats were 2-4 and Waru's 5 and 6, so congrats to GC specifically for the first place, and to everyone for having incredibly cute cats

As for the best pokemon of the year, our favorite car took the lead with 38.2%, Krookodile followed right in with 35.3, and Slither wing and slowbro with 17.6 and 8.8% respectively

LET THEM COOK ‍‍, our best cooker was Beraldo with 41.2%, followed by a close 35.3% on feliburn and 23.5% on cyanize

The opposing Cyclizar flinched and couldn't move!
Corperate N took the vote by a landslide, with 41.2%, followed by Danny with 23.5 and Zause with 20.6%

as for most helpful user, Rarely took it also by a landslide with 44%, followed by Wally and me with 20.6 and 17.6, and Sneaky and flamigo with 14.7 and 2.9

Probably the most evenly split category, Tanish/Lime took it with a 29.4 lead, followed by danny with 26.5, Zeelithium with 23.5 and Wally with 20.6

And the second tie AND crown, Tanish and tsu take it with a 32.4% tie, Baldo and feliburn () got 23.5 and 11.8 respectively

Multiple times RU open champion, Punny takes the crown for the most intimidating player this time, Ajna followed up with 23.5, frank with 14.7, and both vulpix and eifo tied with 11.8

If being rude makes you lose hair, then the first place is already bald, Beraldo took it with a whopping 50%, followed by a tie between wally and gc with 17.6, and feli with 14.7

As for the other side of the same coin, Angel took the lead for nicest user with 35.3 with wally once again on a tie, this time with rarelyme with 23.5, while franklin got 8.8, evi 5.9 and baldo 2.9(1 vote)

Continuing where we left off, angel also take the crown for silliest user with 32.4%

, Evi follows with 20.6, and tsu and wally tied with 17.6, while beraldo (which someone pushed him to the lake on nomination phase!!!) got 11.6

As for the most likely to talk about RU with their family, Flamingo took the lead with 44.1%, while eifo and feli tied in second with 20.6%, angel got 11.8 and beraldo got 2.9(1 vote)

COMUNICADO OFICIAL: They have won with 47.1 of the votes, Ugh Feliburn and master chief's quote take second and third with 23.5 and 20.6, while feliburn hisui didnt live up as the upgrade....

Talk about even votes again LOL, llamas took the lead, while the entire gang got 14.7 of votes, evi and eifo got 1 and 2 votes respectively

As for zoomer, angel got 50% of the votes, while tsu got 35.3 and beraldo got 14.7

As for the user who's more likely to call act on thursday, we have no other than ninetales pre-evo, Vulpix03 in first, with wally following by with 29.4, feliburn with 20.6 and angel with 14.7

We had a lot of memorable moments this year in RU, but the ones who stood out the most were RUWC having a extra month due to tiebreaks and such and Feli winning the 2023's UU open

The true discussion goats, Eifo took the lead with 41.2% of the votes, while cyan was close by with 32.4%, and feli with 26.5%

Silliest, Nicest, and also funniest, Angel took it once again with 52.9% of votes, Wally followed by with 32.9 and evi and feli with 8.8 and 5.9 respectively

As for activity on RU room, Flamingo got 1st place with 47.1% of votes, followed by drey with 32.4, and elecant with 20.6

As of the ones who make the RU room possible, Rarelyme won by a landslide, with 70.6 of votes, followed by wally with 29.4

With 1 vote from difference each, Sneaky won with 32.4% of votes, followed by zause with 29.4, feen with 26.5 and Tanish/lime with 11.8

Our beloved SS RU and early SV goat, Mac3 took the win as retired user people miss the most, with 50% of votes, followed by our ghostly friends spirit and feliburn, while thre recently returned slap and odr got 8.8 and 5.9

as for 1v1 pokemon, most people could 1v1 the pinkest blob ever in chansey, while others could 1v1 a lizard and fewer ones could 1v1 frogs and thumbleweeds

SLITHER WING OUR BELOVED is the pokemon most people would marry the most, with 50%, Gardevoir followed with 29.4, and lucario and car with 11.8 and 8.8 respectively

As for kissing, both meloetta and Bellibolt tied for the pokemon people would kiss the most, followed by gardevoir and bisharp, with 8.8 also in a tie

And for last but not least, the pokemon most people would kill is :srank: with 44.1%, followed by Conkeldurr, with 23.5, jugulis with 20.6, and zarude with 11.8%

As of best tour, RUPL got the crown, with 32.4% of votes, followed by close 23.5% on RUWC, and a tie between Penta and ADV RU tour with 20.6%

And as of the last category, Ajna vs Floss on SCL got the win, with some incredible reads from floss, with 47.1%, mncmt vs giannis also known as Sahki RU match, with 29.4%, and beraldo and goldcat's game with 23.5%
