Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 168 SpD / 88 Spe
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp / Thunder Wave
- Pain Split

Rotom-W cleans up the competition in OU! Hydro Pump denies common Ground-types like Landorus-T from switching in and stopping Rotom-W's Volt Switch, making it one of the hardest pivoting moves to prevent in the tier. Will-O-Wisp further punishes Ground-types looking to block Volt Switch, while Thunder Wave is an alternative for foes like Clefable that are unbothered by any of Rotom-W's other moves; both options are also capable of disrupting Pokemon that wall Rotom-W's STAB combination like Ferrothorn. The EVs allow Rotom-W to outspeed Adamant Scizor, with the rest invested into special bulk to sponge hits from Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Heatran. Wallbreakers like Tapu Lele and Kartana are great partners, benefiting from Rotom-W's ability to check threats such as the aforementioned Tornadus-T and Heatran and safely get them onto the field with Volt Switch against foes like Clefable and Galarian Slowking; additionally, they can pressure Pokemon like Gastrodon that are near hard stops to Rotom-W. Because Rotom-W can be quickly overwhelmed due to Pain Split's inconsistency, options like Clefable and Ferrothorn are good teammates to absorb Knock Off and Toxic.

Rotom-Wash cleans up the competition in SS OU! Rotom-W's Volt Switch is one of the hardest pivoting moves to punish in the tier due to the excellent combination of STAB Hydro Pump and Will-O-Wisp, both denying common Ground-types like Landorus-T from switching in and halting its momentum. probably use this to emphasize pump moreso and put wisp in its own sentence with twave Thunder Wave is a compelling alternative for foes like Clefable that are unbothered by any of Rotom-W's other moves. both status moves can disrupt things like ferro that can take its stab combo on offensively The EV spread allows Rotom-W to outspeed Adamant Scizor, with the rest invested into special bulk to sponge hits from Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Heatran. These traits make Rotom-W a great option to compress multiple roles and keep up momentum on bulky offense teams. can just compress this sentence into the overview sentence Wallbreakers like Tapu Lele and Kartana are strong partners on these structures, benefiting from Rotom-W's ability to check threats like the aforementioned Tornadus-T and Heatran and safely get them onto the field with its Volt Switch any specific mons that these two can take advantage of on a volt switch?; additionally, they can pressure foes like Galarian Slowking and Gastrodon that are near hard-stops to Rotom-W. gastro blocks the crap out of roto but glowking gets pivoted on so i dont rly like the emphasis in this sentence Because Rotom-W can be quickly overwhelmed, options like Clefable and Ferrothorn are good teammates to absorb Knock Off and Toxic.
