[SET COMMENTS]
Rotom-W is one of the best pivots in the tier, with only Gastrodon and Seismitoad being capable of safely preventing it from generating momentum with Volt Switch. Pain Split helps improve Rotom-W's longevity, allowing it to check Pokemon like Mamoswine, Noivern, and Krookodile better. Will-O-Wisp helps Rotom-W take on physical threats such as Bisharp, Mimikyu, Zarude, and Cobalion better; however, Toxic can be considered to cripple Pokemon like Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and Seismitoad that it struggles to break through otherwise. Rotom-W is a great Defogger due to its ability to pressure common entry hazard users such as Rhyperior and Krookodile. Thunder Wave is an option in the third slot that can let Rotom-W cripple foes such as Zarude, Noivern, and Keldeo for another partner to revenge kill them more easily. Leftovers provides Rotom-W with passive recovery, which it otherwise lacks if it isn't using Pain Split. Rocky Helmet can wear down Pokemon like Barraskewda, Darmanitan, and Escavalier; however, this item should only be considered if Rotom-W is using Pain Split. Rotom-W can also consider using no item to help it take on Poltergeist users like Golurk and Alolan Marowak better, though it still has to fear Shadow Bone from the latter. This can also help it take on Knock Off users like Bisharp and Incineroar better. A spread with maximum Speed investment allows Rotom-W to outpace threats like Heracross, Chandelure, and Mamoswine. Alternatively, Rotom-W can use a spread of 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 Spe with a Bold nature to better switch into foes like Krookodile and Rhyperior while outspeeding Jolly Incineroar. Maximum Defense investment can also be considered to switch into foes like Cobalion and Keldeo more easily.

Wallbreakers like Golurk, Mamoswine, and Celebi appreciate Rotom-W bringing them in safely. Mamoswine and Assault Vest Golurk can alleviate Rotom-W's inability to check Noivern reliably, while Celebi can help check foes like Rotom-C and Heliolisk. While Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-W to cripple many offensive threats like Bisharp and Cobalion, it doesn't appreciate switching directly into them. Cobalion and Keldeo can check Bisharp, while Noivern and Doublade can help check Cobalion. Cobalion can also help check foes like Zarude, Obstagoon, and Roserade and lure in and remove Celebi with Megahorn. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many foes that give Cobalion issues such as Palossand and Talonflame. Galarian Weezing, particularly Neutralizing Gas variants, can check foes like Obstagoon and Heracross and appreciates Rotom-W freeing up the ability to run other utility moves over Defog. Noivern can help remove Grass- and Dragon-types like Celebi and Dragalge. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many of Noivern's checks like Rhyperior and Slowbro. Alolan Marowak and Chandelure are Fire-types Rotom-W has troubles switching into, so partners like Incineroar and Rhyperior can alleviate this.

move 2: Discharge
move 3: Hydro Pump
move 4: Volt Switch / Pain Split
item: Leftovers
ability: Levitate

[SET COMMENTS]
Nasty Plot turns Rotom-W into a scary wallbreaker, allowing it to muscle through Pokemon like Slowking, Noivern, and Escavalier. Its STAB combination leaves it with only a few Pokemon capable of resisting both such as Dragalge, Zarude, and Celebi, which Volt Switch allows it to generate momentum against; however, it is left completely walled by Seismitoad and Gastrodon. It also struggles to break through sturdier specially defensive walls such as Umbreon and Eviolite Chansey. Discharge is preferred over Thunderbolt due to its ability to potentially cripple switch-ins like Noivern, Zarude, and Virizion with paralysis. Pain Split is an option over Volt Switch, which allows Rotom-W to set up on foes like Noivern more easily, check Pokemon like Mamoswine better, and punish Chansey better. Substitute can be considered to help set up Nasty Plot safely and avoid potentially being inflicted by status; however, foes like Noivern and Sylveon can still threaten to revenge kill Rotom-W behind a Substitute. Toxic is another option to cripple Seismitoad and Gastrodon, which wall Rotom-W otherwise.

Celebi, Zarude, and Roserade can remove Gastrodon and Seismitoad for Rotom-W. Roserade can also support Rotom-W with Spikes support to wear down other checks such as Dragalge, as well as Sleep Powder support, which can provide Rotom-W with safe opportunities to set up a Nasty Plot. Zarude can also bring Rotom-W in safely with U-turn against foes like Incineroar and Galarian Weezing that Rotom-W can use to set up. Rotom-W lets in Celebi and Roserade easily, as both of them wall Rotom-W and are unafraid of Discharge paralysis due to Natural Cure, so checks to them in Escavalier and Bronzong are great partners. Grimmsnarl can provide dual screens support, which can provide Rotom-W with more opportunities to boost its Special Attack. Araquanid and Ribombee can provide Sticky Web support, which can prevent foes like Obstagoon and non-Choice Scarf Mienshao from revenge killing Rotom-W. Other wallbreakers like Terrakion, Lycanroc-D, and Bisharp appreciate Rotom-W being able to bring them in safely with Volt Switch against its common checks such as Roserade, Chansey, and Zarude. Galarian Weezing and Cobalion can help check Zarude, which is a foe that Rotom-W has immense issues breaking, especially if it has Jungle Healing or Synthesis. Galarian Weezing can also set up Toxic Spikes to help wear down foes like Seismitoad and specially defensive Sylveon for Rotom-W to wallbreak more easily.

[SET COMMENTS]
A Choice Scarf allows Rotom-W to revenge kill foes such as Keldeo, Terrakion, and Starmie; however, it does face a lot of competition from faster Choice Scarf users, such as Keldeo, which can revenge kill threats like Shell Smash Barbaracle. Rotom-W's typing also grants it great defensive utility to check foes such as Mamoswine and Talonflame, though it should be wary of the former potentially removing its Choice Scarf with Knock Off. Thunderbolt provides Rotom-W with a strong Electric-type STAB move that doesn't force it to switch out and noticeably lets it beat Keldeo after a Calm Mind boost and 2HKO Noivern. Thunder Wave lets Rotom-W cripple the aforementioned foes as well as common switch-ins like non-Jungle Healing Zarude for its teammates to better deal with them. Trick allows Rotom-W to cripple Pokemon it is unable to break such as Seismitoad, Chansey, and Storm Drain Gastrodon, making it easier for Rotom-W's teammates to remove them. However, it should be careful of trading its item with common Assault Vest users like Reuniclus and Galarian Slowbro if it is using an extra utility move. The third slot is extremely customizable depending on what the team benefits more from. Will-O-Wisp can cripple physical attackers such as Bisharp, Mienshao, and Cobalion, and Toxic can be used to cripple some of its sturdier checks like Zarude and Gastrodon. Defog is an option if the need to compress entry hazard removal is necessary. Nasty Plot provides Rotom-W with wallbreaking potential after it has given away its Choice Scarf. Finally, Pain Split can be used to improve Rotom-W's longevity. A bulkier spread with maximum HP investment can be used; however, this makes it far more reliant on status or using Trick to handle foes it wants to revenge kill.

Wallbreakers like Bisharp, Lycanroc-D, and Mamoswine appreciate Rotom-W being able to bring them in safely against foes such as Celebi, Chansey, and Dragalge. These partners can also alleviate Rotom-W's inability to revenge kill faster foes like Shell Smash Polteageist and Cloyster by virtue of their powerful STAB priority moves. Celebi, Zarude, and Roserade can support Rotom-W in removing Seismitoad and Gastrodon, two foes that prevent it from using Volt Switch freely, as well as check Heliolisk. Roserade can also provide Spikes support to wear down threats like Obstagoon and Heracross into KO range. Copperajah and Escavalier can check Dragalge and Celebi for Rotom-W. Keldeo, albeit sharing many of the same checks, appreciates Rotom-W being able to cripple foes like Gastrodon, Noivern, and Celebi with Trick. Noivern can remove many of Rotom-W's defensive checks like Celebi, Heliolisk, and Dragalge. In return, Rotom-W can cripple or remove many of Noivern's defensive checks like Rhyperior, Sylveon, and Slowking. Galarian Weezing can pivot into threatening Knock Off users like Krookodile and Mamoswine, as well as check Zarude for it. Galarian Weezing can also remove Stealth Rock preventing Rotom-W being worn down easily, in return, Rotom-W can cripple many problematic threats to Galarian Weezing such as Calm Mind Reuniclus.

Rotom-W is one of the best pivots in the tier with only Gastrodon and Seismitoad being capable of safely preventing it from generating momentum with Volt Switch. Will-O-Wisp helps Rotom-W take on physical threats such as Bisharp, Mimikyu, and Tyranitar better; however, Toxic can be considered to cripple Pokemon like Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and Slowking, which it struggles to break through otherwise. Pain Split can help improve Rotom-W's longevity allowing it to afford to stomach hits from Noivern if required. You should mention also how it lets it switch into pokemon like Rhyperior, Mamoswine, and Krookodile much more consistently. Rotom-W is a great Defogger due to its ability to pressure common entry hazard users such as Skarmory, Rhyperior, and Krookodile. Thunder Wave is an option that can let Rotom-W cripple foes such as Kyurem, Noivern, and Keldeo for another partner to revenge kill them more easily. This reads like you are suggesting that you would run it over Defog, when Defog + Twave is fine too. Leftovers provides Rotom-W with passive recovery, which it otherwise lacks if it isn't using Pain Spilt. Rocky Helmet can wear down Pokemon like Barraskewda, Darmanitan, and physical Jirachi; however, this item should only be considered if Rotom-W is using Pain Split. A spread with maximum Speed investment allows Rotom-W to outpace threats like Heracross, Chandelure, and Mamoswine. Alternatively, Rotom-W can use a spread with a Bold nature and maximum defense investment to threats like Cobalion and Keldeo more easily. Id personally rather we recommend a spread with some speed here still, like 132 speed for jolly incin and ada ttar, and then say that 0 speed can be used if you have other stuff that threatens SD incin.

Kyurem can remove common checks to Rotom-W such as Gastrodon, Roserade, and Dragalge, so Kyurem appreciates Rotom-W being able to bring it in safely against the latter two with Volt Switch to wallbreak. Kyurem also appreciates Rotom-W being able to remove entry hazards for it and crippling many of its defensive checks like Specially Defensive Tyranitar, Escavalier, and Jirachi. Other wallbreakers like Golurk, Mamoswine, and Celebi also appreciate Rotom-W bringing them in safely. Mamoswine and Assault Vest Golurk can alleviate Rotom-W's inability to check Noivern reliably, while Celebi can help check foes like Rotom-C and Heliolisk. While Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-W to cripple many offensive threats like Bisharp and Tyranitar, it doesn't appreciate switching directly into them, so partners like Cobalion and Skarmory are appreciated. Cobalion can help check foes like Kyurem and Roserade and potentially lure in and remove Celebi with Megahorn for Rotom-W. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many foes that give Cobalion issues such as Palossand and Talonflame. Galarian Weezing can check foes like Obstagoon and Heracross that can overwhelm Rotom-W, as well as provide Defog support to let Rotom-W use an alternative utility move like Pain Split. mention spcifically that you want to run gas weezing with rotom-wash. also don't like the wording on the last bit when defog + pain split is the most common combo on washtom anyway, more like it allows you to run wisp/toxic + split but like i'd rather keep washtom as the defogger and allow weezing to have its movepool freed up in this scenario especially since gas weezing isn't as good a remover as washtom is when you lose the ground immunity, you could comment on tspikes gas weezing provides crippling checks like celebi/gastro too if you wanted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hatterene can likewise allow Rotom-W to opt for alternative options due to Magic Bounce helping with hazard control. Noivern can help remove Grass- and opposing Dragon-types like Celebi and Kyurem. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many of Noivern's checks like Rhyperior, Tyranitar, and Slowking.

The latter two in particular being unafraid of a Discharge paralysis due to their ability Natural Cure. Jirachi can help remove Gastrodon and Seismitoad on mixed variants carrying Energy Ball allowing Rotom-W to wallbreak better. Toxtricity appreciates Rotom-W being able to remove Ground-types like Golurk and Palossand for it and in return, Toxtricity can break through Rotom-W's common checks like Celebi, ehhhh you are slower and just get psychic'd Gastrodon, and Dragalge with Boomburst.

A Choice Scarf allows Rotom-W to revenge kill foes such as Keldeo, Terrakion, and Starmie; i guess you could probably include some stuff about how it can still use its defensive typing to check Pokemon like mamo/krook too, but that it can't rly switch in too safely especially to the latter, this makes a lot of sense too when you compare it to keldeo cause it gives something that it actually overlaps with with Keldeo other then terrakion however, it does face a lot of competition from other Choice Scarf users like Keldeo whose Speed tier allows it to revenge kill threats like Shell Smash Barbaracle and Shift Gear Toxtricity, unlike Rotom-W. The way you describe Scarf Rotom here, it also sounds like everything Noivern can very easily do itself without needing a scarf, so i'd also talk about this competition and explain what Scarf Washtom does that noivern doesnt. Thunderbolt provides Rotom-W with a strong Electric-type STAB move that doesn't force it to switch out and noticeably lets it 2HKO Noivern, Keldeo even after a Calm Mind boost, and Dragon Dance Necrozma, the latter resulting in Rotom-W not having to rely on landing two Hydro Pump's to revenge kill it. Thunder Wave is an option, which can let it cripple the aforementioned foes as well as common switch-ins like Kyurem for its teammates to better deal with them. Trick allows Rotom-W to cripple Pokemon it is unable to break such as Seismitoad, Umbreon, and Gastrodon, making it easier for Rotom-W's teammates to remove them. The third slot is extremely customizable depending on what the team benefits more from. Will-O-Wisp can cripple physical attackers such as Bisharp, Mienshao, and Cobalion or Toxic can be used to cripple some of its sturdier checks like Kyurem and Gastrodon. Defog is an option if the need to compress entry hazard removal is necessary, Nasty Plot provides Rotom-W with wallbreaking potential, and finally, Pain Split can be used to improve Rotom-W's longevity. Roserade can also provide Spikes support to wear down threats like Obstagoon and Tyranitar into Hydro Pump range. Jirachi and Escavalier can check Dragalge, Kyurem, and Celebi for Rotom-W, with the former also providing Wish support to help improve Rotom-W's longevity. Keldeo, albeit sharing many of the same checks, appreciates Rotom-W being able to cripple foes like Gastrodon, Noivern, and Celebi with Trick making it easier for Keldeo to muscle past them. Noivern can remove many of Rotom-W's defensive checks like Celebi, Heliolisk, and Dragalge. In return, Rotom-W can cripple or remove many of its defensive checks like Rhyperior, Sylveon, and Slowking.

Make sure to talk about partners that can actually switch into Krook (and to a lesser extent Mamo), because you lose the ability to do this safely if you need your choice scarf intact.
Yea not much to comment on on most of this tbh, solid work. QC 1/2.

Will-O-Wisp helps Rotom-W take on physical threats such as Bisharp, Mimikyu, and Cobalion better; however, Toxic can be considered to cripple Pokemon like Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and Zarude zarude hates willo even more than it hates toxic, replace this mention with seismi, which it struggles to break through otherwise. Rocky Helmet can wear down Pokemon like Barraskewda, Darmanitan, and Escavalier; however, this item should only be considered if Rotom-W is using Pain Split. I think you can also give itemless a mention. It helps with Golurk, obviously, but it also makes you take significantly less from knock from bish/krook/alowak etc. so it's way easier to check them A spread with maximum Speed investment allows Rotom-W to outpace threats like Heracross, Chandelure, and Mamoswine. Alternatively, Rotom-W can use the following spread 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 Spe with a Bold nature to better switch into foes like Krookodile and Rhyperior, while outspeeding Jolly Incineroar. seriously think this should be the main spread Maximum defense investment can also be considered to switch into foes like Cobalion and Keldeo more easily.

Mamoswine and Assault Vest Golurk can alleviate Rotom-W's inability to check Noivern reliably, while Celebi can help check foes like Rotom-C and Heliolisk. While Will-O-Wisp allows Rotom-W to cripple many offensive threats like Bisharp and Cobalion, it doesn't appreciate switching directly into them, so partners like Cobalion, Alolan Marowak, and Incineroar are appreciated these mentions are super iffy, coba's a fine bish switch in but alowak isn't a great coba switch in and incin is definitely not a good bisharp switch in bc of defiant. would rather you had like noivern for coba and just left bish at the coba mention bc nothing else actually switches in. Cobalion can also help check foes like Zarude, Obstagoon, and Roserade and potentially lure in and remove Celebi with Megahorn for Rotom-W. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many foes that give Cobalion issues such as Palossand and Talonflame. Will-O-Wisp helps Rotom-W take on physical threats such as Bisharp, Mimikyu, Zarude, and Cobalion better; however, Toxic can be considered to cripple Pokemon like Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and Seismitoad, which it struggles to break through otherwise. Leftovers provides Rotom-W with passive recovery, which it otherwise lacks if it isn't using Pain Spilt Split. It can also help it take on Knock Off users like Bisharp and Incineroar better. A spread with maximum Speed investment allows Rotom-W to outpace threats like Heracross, Chandelure, and Mamoswine. Alternatively, Rotom-W can use the following spread 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 Spe with a Bold nature to better switch into foes like Krookodile and Rhyperior, while outspeeding Jolly Incineroar.

Galarian Weezing, particularly Neutralizing Gas variants, can check foes like Obstagoon and Heracross, and appreciates Rotom-W freeing up the ability to run other utility moves over Defog. Noivern can help remove Grass- and opposing Dragon-types like Celebi and Dragalge. In return, Rotom-W can pressure many of Noivern's checks like Rhyperior and Slowbro. Alolan Marowak and Chandelure are Fire-types Rotom-W has troubles switching into, so partners like Incineroar and Rhyperior can alleviate this.

Nasty Plot turns Rotom-W into a scary wallbreaker allowing it to muscle through Pokemon like Slowking, Noivern, and Escavalier. Its STAB combination leaves it with only a few Pokemon capable of resisting both such as Dragalge, Zarude, and Celebi, which Volt Switch allows it to generate momentum against; however, it is left completely walled by Seismitoad and Gastrodon. It also struggles to break through sturdier specially defensive (lowercase) walls such as Umbreon and Eviolite Chansey. Discharge is preferred over Thunderbolt due to its ability to potentially cripple switch-ins like Noivern, Zarude, and Virizion with a paralysis. Pain Split is an option over Volt Switch, which allows Rotom-W to set up on foes like Noivern more easily, let as it can check Pokemon like Mamoswine better, and give it a tool to punish Chansey a bit better. Substitute can be considered to help set up a Nasty Plot safely and avoid potentially being inflicted by status; however, foes like Noivern and Sylveon can still threaten to revenge kill Rotom-W behind a Substitute. Toxic is another option to cripple Seismitoad and Gastrodon, which wall you otherwise.

Celebi, Zarude, and Roserade can remove Gastrodon and Seismitoad for Rotom-W. Roserade can also support Rotom-W with Spikes support to wear down other checks such as Dragalge and Sleep Powder support, which can provide Rotom-W with safe opportunities to set up a Nasty Plot. Zarude can also bring Rotom-W in safely with U-turn against foes like Incineroar and Galarian Weezing, which Rotom-W can use as set up opportunities. Escavalier and Bronzong are great partners, as Rotom-W lets in foes such as Celebi and Roserade in too easily, both of which also being unafraid of a Discharge paralysis thanks to their ability Natural Cure. Galarian Weezing and Cobalion can help check Zarude, a foe that Rotom-W has immense issues breaking especially if it has Jungle Healing or Synthesis. Galarian Weezing can also set up Toxic Spikes support to help wear down foes like Seismitoad and specially defensive (lowercase; specially defensive is never capitalized :P) Sylveon for Rotom-W to wallbreak easier.

A Choice Scarf allows Rotom-W to revenge kill foes such as Keldeo, Terrakion, and Starmie; however, it does face a lot of competition from other Choice Scarf users like Keldeo whose Speed tier allows it to revenge kill threats like Shell Smash Barbaracle, unlike Rotom-W. It's (RA)typing also grants it great defensive utility to check foes such as Mamoswine and Talonflame, though it should be wary of the former potentially removing its Choice Scarf with Knock Off. Thunderbolt provides Rotom-W with a strong Electric-type STAB move that doesn't force it to switch out and noticeably lets it beat Keldeo even after a Calm Mind boost and 2HKO Noivern. Thunder Wave is an option, which can let it cripple the aforementioned foes as well as common switch-ins like non-Jungle Healing Zarude for its teammates to better deal with them. Trick allows Rotom-W to cripple Pokemon it is unable to break such as Seismitoad, Chansey, and Storm Drain Gastrodon, making it easier for Rotom-W's teammates to remove them. However, it should be careful of trading its item with common Assault Vest users like Reuniclus and Galarian Slowbro, especially if it is using an extra utility move. The third slot is extremely customizable depending on what the team benefits more from. Will-O-Wisp can cripple physical attackers such as Bisharp, Mienshao, and Cobalion or Toxic can be used to cripple some of its sturdier checks like Zarude and Gastrodon. Defog is an option if the need to compress entry hazard removal is necessary, Nasty Plot provides Rotom-W with wallbreaking potential after it has given away it's (RA) Choice Scarf, and finally,(RC) Pain Split can be used to improve Rotom-W's longevity. A bulkier spread with maximum HP investment can be used; however, it makes it far more reliant on status or using Trick to handle foes it wants to revenge kill.

Roserade can also provide Spikes support to wear down threats like Obstagoon and Heracross into Hydro Pump (would KO range be better?)(subjective change) range. Copperajah and Escavalier can check Dragalge and Celebi for Rotom-W. In return, Rotom-W can cripple or remove many of Noivern's defensive checks like Rhyperior, Sylveon, and Slowking. Galarian Weezing can pivot into Pokemon like Krookodile and Mamoswine, which Rotom-W doesn't want to risk taking a Knock Off from, as well as check Zarude for it. Galarian Weezing can also remove Stealth Rock preventing Rotom-W being worn down easily, in return, Rotom-W can cripple many problematic threats to Galarian Weezing such as Calm Mind Reuniclus.
