Set Description
=========
Thunderbolt's accuracy is more valuable than the power behind Thunder with Electabuzz electing to play the long game, especially when it comes to checking foes like Gyarados. With Rest, Electabuzz has ample opportunities to trap foes like Haunter with Pursuit. However, it has to be cautious of Hypnosis when trying to recover. Psychic is an alternative to get more chip damage on Ground-types like Nidoqueen and Piloswine and 2HKO Haunter. Despite typically being offensive, Electabuzz can Rest on a solid amount of foes and appreciates nullifying ailments like Hypnosis from Mr. Mime and Stun Spore from Bellossom and Jumpluff.

Team Options
========
RestTalk Electabuzz is best suited for stall teams that complement Electabuzz's longevity and appreciate it being able to both trap Haunter and counter Gyarados. Partners like Blastoise and Hypno cover the Ground-types like Piloswine and Nidoqueen that Electabuzz cannot handle as easily without its usual coverage. Heal Bell support from Chansey to wake it early can be useful, and Chansey can sponge hits from stronger special attackers like Mr. Mime and Magneton. Shuckle makes for an excellent partner to deal with Nidoqueen and physical attackers like Granbull that can often gain free turns off of Electabuzz. Granbull itself is a nice partner, as it can be an additional Nidoqueen answer and win the game once Electabuzz traps Haunter. Crobat can deal with the Grass-types that Electabuzz cannot touch. It also stops Scyther from passing Sword Dance boosts and is a more consistent answer than Electabuzz. In return, Electabuzz traps Slowbro.

stuck on mobile today so gonna just do comments instead of usual formatting for this :x

deslash psychic, think the mention is alright but realistically this sets primary usage in tours etc is with pursuit and it’s just better most of the time unless you playing it on a non stall team, which you could mention as the realistic use case forr psychic where you care more about not free entry to nidoqueen constantly

Mention how thunderbolts gyaranteed hit is particularly useful vs gyarados here in first bit. Pursuitting slowbro ain’t that great tbh with how much surf does but idm keeping the mention.

Mention how rest lets buzz become a solid long term gyarados answer in the moves section which is the biggest appeal over just the status and stuff. Also mention how this is the main appeal in the team options opening that it’s a good pick for stall teams that want a fyarados counter that can also trap haunter.

bring up how Crobat deals with scyther which you are unreliable against and stops it Sd passing too. Can mention how it checks bd quag too which sets up well against buzz. Idt the slowbro pursuitting stuff is relevant to bat to mention here since bat is kinda fucked by a lot of stuff and is mostly just there to stop scyther and quag things.

mention that shuckle handles nidoqueen decently too which you give a lot of free turns to.

mention curse talk bull as a great partner for buzz on stall, (you would typically expect to see these together on stall really) appreciates haunter pursuitted and gives you an offensive win con and back up answer to stuff like nidoqueen.
