Articuno
Ability: No Ability
- Blizzard
- Double-Edge
- Hyper Beam
- Agility

With its immense Special and the sheer power of Blizzard, Articuno can OHKO Rhydon and 2HKO Zapdos, Exeggutor, Tauros, and Snorlax with minimal prior damage. Even if it gets paralyzed by Body Slam or a stray Thunder Wave, Agility lets Articuno bypass the Speed drop from paralysis and outspeed the entire metagame. Standing in Articuno's way are Chansey, Starmie, Cloyster, and Lapras, which shrug off Blizzard and force Articuno out. Keeping Articuno unrevealed until these threats are removed gives it the best opportunity to sweep late-game; however, it can also be enough to just weaken them to the point of putting them within range of Double-Edge or Hyper Beam. While Tauros, Snorlax, and Chansey are seen on virtually every team, Electric-types such as Jolteon and Zapdos pair nicely with Articuno, offensively pressuring the Water-types Articuno struggles with.

this is just a bit weirdly written tbh, you only talk about its checks/walls and you don't explain how it's good very well

you should start by mentioning that STAB Blizzard off its Special is fucking bonkers, 2HKOs Tauros cleanly, fries mons like Eggy and Zap and Rhydon, only needs some chip to 2HKO Snorlax, things like that; you should also mention it's got very reasonable bulk that allows it to trade favorably with Tauros who is otherwise generally the king of endgames. You should then mention that Agility enables it to make up for its middling speed and vulnerability to paralysis, as it is another key strength of Articuno. THEN you can mention that it is cucked by Starmie / Chansey / Cloyster (! who you did not mention and is very very important) / Lapras and that ideally you want to clear these mons out beforehand as its Double-Edge and Hyper Beam can help but they don't really do a ton

would like to see this tweaked significantly to fit these guidelines

With its immense Special and the sheer power of Blizzard, Articuno can OHKO Rhydon and 2HKO Zapdos, Exeggutor, Snorlax with minimal prior damage, and even Tauros, of which it has the raw bulk to trade favorably with.
what is this wording my man
just cut the part about the bulk and go "Zapdos, Exeggutor, Tauros, and Snorlax with minimal prior damage"

Standing in Articuno's way are Chansey, Starmie, Cloyster, and Lapras, who wall Articuno with their high Special bulk in tandem with reliable recovery and Ice-type resistance, respectively.
again content is good but the sentence is just so hard to follow, just say that they can easily switch into blizzard and nullify its threat (or something like that)

Articuno can still gain momentum versus these counters by switching into a Normal-type teammate on the predicted recovery move or weak attack, Clamp in Cloyster's case and Thunderbolt in Lapras'.
no, this sounds like you are recommending people to go hard lax or hard tauros on cloyster or lapras, just no
instead of recommending weird double switches (not how you actually win with articuno) you should recommend people keep articuno in the back until those checks are disposed of or at least weakened into range

we're getting closer but it's still a mess, give it another shake

cut this s

however, it can also weaken them to the point of putting them within range of Double-Edge or Hyper Beam.
cuno has an extremely hard time weakening them, it's the teammates who do the weakening. sentence works if you just add a couple words - "it can also [be enough to just] weaken them"

this is good otherwise, QC1/1
