This Squawabilly set is standard besides not having quick attack instead having copycat the purpose is to get access to a neat coverage move e.g close combat or some sort of recovery considering that this is a set that has recoil moves. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9pu-1811917272-ti4qalqeoo85nf9fj6ceckoi58ueylmpw

Trickroom offense team
The psychic core of Hatterem and Indeedee-F creates the opportunity to set trickroom relatively easy, you can either switch in your breakers or healing wish to get them in safely then you have choice scarf Lycanroc-midnight in the back to clean through what the trickroom breakers left. This team also makes revenge killing attempts far less possible as the opposing team can only attack if it lives an attack as psychic terrain blocks the priority.

Dedicated tera sun sweeper, can boost easily and is really hard to check defensively. It wastes turns in boosting/recovering so it can't 6-0 teams, but on the other hand it can come out multiple times.
Max speed investment because I'm lazy and I like it still being fast after sun ends (it speed ties jolly lycanrock).
Despite his coverage being bad against fire types it actually performs decently against most of them (with life orb it would just OHKO all the fires at +2 so I'm considering it)
My support team is kinda bad (it's like him, scovillian and 4 mons with sunny day) but in the right hands this set should have a lot of potential and I find it a worthy use of the tera slot. Sun in general looks dangerously strong, maybe a heat rock ban should be on the table in the future

The actual set itself isn't anything too wildly original, but I think you can make a reasonable case for Protective Pads on this sort of set over other items like Silk Scarf and Heavy-Duty Boots. Protective Pads makes bypassing bulky stuff like Gabite and Ampharos more possible, reduces prediction and risk against Carkol, and prevents Skuntank from trying to force chip damage or a double down with Aftermath (which usually happens after they already hit you with Sucker Punch).

thanks to zoowi for helping me test this set v skuntank btw

An excellent set to try out. It does a good job of beating all the offense going on in the early metagame as it gets to +2 rather easily as it can set up on a lot of common attacking types such as grass and fire. I have been pairing it with hazard stack to try and rack damage to put fast things in range of Extreme Speed. I noticed a lot of boots users can not handle this thing very well anyway. You want to be sure Indeedee is out of the way before trying to sweep and also keep in mind, not to Tera if you need the Dragon typing to set up. Waterfall could be changed out with Iron Head to hit Fairy-types as well as Rock types, but I have been liking Waterfall as it hits Steel types for neutral damage. 16 Speed out speeds max Speed netrual nature Camerupt which isn't really a thing as far as I know so it prolly is not necessary as you can set a dance up on Camerupt anyway, the only reason I keep it is in case I see another bulky Dragonair and hope it has lower speed.

+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Houndoom: 277-327 (95.1 - 112.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Vivillon: 277-327 (92 - 108.6%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Wugtrio: 277-327 (131.2 - 154.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sneasel: 259-306 (103.1 - 121.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 88 HP / 0 Def Scovillain: 228-268 (77.8 - 91.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock +1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Squawkabilly: 273-322 (89.5 - 105.5%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
+1 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raichu: 259-306 (99.2 - 117.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

All of these are guaranteed to OHKO at +2 note you need a turn of rock damage for Scovillain.

+2 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Grumpig: 304-358 (100.9 - 118.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Pyroar: 280-330 (89.4 - 105.4%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Tera Normal Dragonair Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lilligant: 270-318 (96 - 113.1%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

252 SpA Vivillon Hurricane vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Tera Normal Dragonair: 126-148 (39 - 45.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Houndoom Dark Pulse vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Dragonair: 156-184 (48.2 - 56.9%) -- 90.2% chance to 2HKO
252+ Atk Steely Spirit Perrserker Iron Head vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Dragonair: 181-214 (56 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

As you can see it is way bulkier on the Special side but it can still chew a lot of physical hits, to help it set up a dance.

Nasty plot set that'll look like the standard for upcoming months for both Rotoms. With Tera electric, they go with 0 weaknesses and can take at least a neutral hit from opposite physical offensive mons. I put Will-O-Wisp for good utility and to not die from sucker punches of Skuntank, Dugtrio, Cacturne, and Floragato (looking like relevant pokemons for upcoming months.) and to cripple physical mons on the switch. Also, Rotom is, and will be, relevant imo because of all the Oricorios running around the tier right now.

man really just countered my entire fucking HO team

I don't know if you've noticed, but there is not a good fast fighting type in this tier, and we are not getting Passimian anytime soon. So behold: Passimian at home!

:sv/meditite:
(Meditite is not a joke.)

Pure power and scarf take this thing's measly base 40 attack and base 60 speed to final stats of 358 and 360, respectively. 360 speed is good enough, as the only relevant things that outspeed it (besides stuff like scarf Houndoom and +1 Oricorio) are Duggy, Wuggy, and Electrode, all of which have primary STABs resisted by grass. Meditite hits as hard as a max attack Perrserker's Close Combat, which is the only move it has worth clicking. The biggest difference is that Meditite can be fast, since nothing is lost here running scarf over an item like AV or LOrb.

Focus Miss (Meditite) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pure Power
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Poison Jab

252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crabominable: 486-572 (122.1 - 143.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Quaxwell: 123-145 (35.7 - 42.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (ignore that one)
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Perrserker: 390-462 (113.3 - 134.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Oinkologne: 338-402 (79.7 - 94.8%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Camerupt: 262-310 (76.1 - 90.1%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Eviolite Magneton: 204-242 (67.1 - 79.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Pure Power Tera Fighting Meditite Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Eviolite Magneton: 272-324 (89.4 - 106.5%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Pure Power Meditite Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Magneton: 408-482 (169.2 - 200%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The main selling point of this set is that it has Perrserker-level close combat power, but with speed. Given how rock, steel, dark, and normal types are likely to end up on a team together, and scarf Meditite outspeeding non-scarf sets even with a base 60 speed, means you need to run from this 280BST mon or take a lot of damage.

Like the saying goes: another day, another funny Normal-type.

I've been spamming this thing on a bad Psychic Terrain team and on a slightly less bad bulky offense, and it's been surprisingly effective on both. Squawkabilly has just enough HP to drop Pokemon from full with Final Gambit, which is nice if a Quiver Dance sweeper gets out of hand or for simply removing something early on. Choice Scarf makes it easier to catch things off guard with Final Gambit (or Brave Bird), helping Squawkabilly outrun +1 Vivillon and +1 Lilligant as well as Choice Scarf Rotom-F. The fast pivoting support is also nice on occasion, as is a potential late-game Tailwind, so I think a set like this has merit.

Here's a replay of it stopping an interesting Crabominable set from immediately cheesing through me. I was trying options like Intimidate and Foul Play out here, though the above set is probably better.

This is my preferred Rabsca set ATM, and its been doing well for me. We don't have many Fighting types so the Fighting quad resistance isn't as valuable, but Rabsca's bulk is such that it can tank hits decently well and set up, and Tera Fairy makes this process easier. Psychic + Ground is my preferred coverage over Bug + Ground but Bug Buzz hits through Subs (good for pre-Tera Pau) I guess?

Not a complete shitmon I swear. Stupidly bulky and a good switch-in to dumb things like Pyroar and Doomer. Reliant on RestTalk for longevity but hey better than nothing. Work Up can be replaced by whatever coverage move you'd like, Stomping Tantrum and Iron Head are ones I've seen. But Work Up makes Oink less passive in my experience.

In my opinion this mon is very good right now: powerful NFE with decent bulk, so you can set up a DD and destroy stuff.
Stomping Tantrum is very useful for steel types like Perrserker and especially Magneton, for all the electric types jumping around and for the fire types that threaten this tier. A supereffective move against poison types is also a plus.

I'm surprised no one has dumped these yet, so I will:

Lycanroc-Midnight @ Choice Scarf
Ability: No Guard
Tera Type: Rock / Fairy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Play Rough
- Crunch / Stealth Rock

Lycanroc-Midnight @ Choice Band
Ability: No Guard
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Play Rough
- Crunch

Both are pretty easy to get the gist of. First one is Choice Scarf for general revenge killing and cleaning. It can opt for Stealth Rock if your team doesn't have a user as it's pretty easy to force switches. Generally you'll want Tera Rock for Stone Edge, but Play Rough is also pretty easy to spam and can turn your Fighting weakness into a resistance while making you neutral to Ground and resistant to Dark. (very nice for Houndoom)
As for the other, Choice Band is in contention for best wallbreaker in the tier. It can safely run Adamant as it stays ahead of positive base 70s by a single point (so no cheeky Timid Mags are killing you) and Close Combat is there to delete Perrserker from the game if it thinks it can come in. Play Rough handles bulkier variants of Gabite and Tera Dragon Quaxwell while Crunch handles Misdreavus pre-Tera. You're admittedly not using Crunch often, so you can look into other options, like Stomping Tantrum, Stealth Rock, and Rock Blast for more utility usage. This one almost always wants Rock for Tera so Stone Edge can muscle through resists, but Fighting for Close Combat is ok too since Flyings want nothing to do with you and Psychics generally can't handle Stone Edge either.

Effective trailblazers. Interesting new move with a lot of availability but not too many obvious abusers. There are surely more, but these are the ones I've tested and found to be most effective:

:sv/lycanroc-midnight:
Lycanroc-Midnight @ Hard Stone
Ability: No Guard
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Trailblaze

Credit to Shaneghoul for this one. Very self explanatory as lycan forces switches, can tera out of its weaknesses to SD up and then terrakion coverage kills everything.

:sv/skuntank:
Skuntank @ Black Glasses
Ability: Aftermath
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 20 SpD / 236 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Sucker Punch
- Gunk Shot
- Trailblaze

This set doesn't even need trailblaze on it to be good in general. Offensive skuntank is a menace as the opponent never expects it to be doing the damage it does. If it can get a trailblaze off it becomes almost impossible to revenge kill as sucker with tera dark instakills any would be priority, weather sweepers need very minimal chip to be picked off, this mon always puts in work.

:sv/glaceon:
Glaceon @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Ice Body
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Trailblaze
- Tera Blast
- Ice Beam
- Freeze-Dry

Interesting nuke. While it does need support to get avoid dealing with Rotom-Frost/Crabominable/Grumpig, it nukes the rest of the tier really hard and forces out teras like crazy which can be scouted even without needing to tera yourself. Timid with 244 speed EVs gets the jump on the duggywuggy. Very fun pokemon and just wins at team preview a lot!

Hope you give them a try and have fun!

Here are some sets, with guests of honor Fletchinder and Bramblin!
:fletchinder:

Ability: Gale Wings
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 16 SpA / 240 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Defog
- Brave Bird
- Aerial Ace / Tera Blast
- Overheat

Imma say it, yall are using this mon wrong. We can all agree that it sucks as a defensive defogger with its meh bulk, 4mss, and having to hold HDB instead of Eviolite. I say it's best set is offensive, serving less as a dedicated Defogger as much as 'better than no hazard removal' Defogger. It shines late-game, being really good at cleaning up thanks to Gale Wings (which yes, prioritizes Defog too)(also fun fact Gale Wings Defog isn't blocked by Psychic Terrain). ik Aerial Ace p much sucks, but it lets Fletch rk stuff/clean without the recoil of Brave Bird, and isn't the worst when Tera Flying. Or just go Tera Blast, it's kinda a 50/50 whether ur gonna tera that match. And Overheat is just there to hit Steels and stuff without the recoil of Flare Blitz, tho it's the most flexible slot. People have compared Fletch to Houndoom and Pyroar as Fire cleaners and Squawkabilly as a bird with priority, but I think Fletch's access to Defog+priority Tera Flying Brave Bird differs it enough. Also being able to rk +2 QD and going before stuff in weather/TR is nice.

Just went max Atk, 16 SpAtk to OHKO uninvested Magneton, and 240 Speed to let it creep max Spd Adamant Lycanroc (and ig Gabite in the process). The Speed invest is prob also pretty flexible since it will ideally be using mostly prio moves, but I like it there for Overheat and after taking damage.

Bramblin @ Eviolite
Ability: Wind Rider
Tera Type: Steel / Ground
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Def / 216 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Strength Sap
- Spikes / Power Whip
- Night Shade / Power Whip

Haven't used this mon too much recently, with my new obsession above. But I talked about this mon a lot, and I still stand by that it's usable with its definite niche, Wind Rider. This makes it immune to Hurricane, which has been a common move on large threats, aka QD users. Admittedly its use has suffered, between the ban of Oricorio-Pau and loss of Frostom (cuz Wind Rider blocks Blizzrd too!), two of the mons where its ability came into play. That being said, Vivillon remains a large threat, with Bramblin's typing additionally making it immune to Sleep Powder and resisting/immune to Vivillon's most common Tera Blast typings (Ground, Fighting, and technically Normal). It can also somewhat check the other two QD mons, Lilligant and Masqurain, albeit much less reliably and depending on their coverage. IK Bramblin's not the bulkiest mon in the world, but with Eviolite, investment, and it's solid typing, it can still somewhat check other random special attackers and normal mons. Just don't expect Bramblin to spinblock or Quaxwell will Brave Bird all over it. Also gets Rapid Spin and Spikes so there's that.

idr what the spread was specifically for, but here's some QD mon calcs:
:Vivillon:
