In this article, i'd plan to write about, as the title says, my (a newbie's) perspective of Pokemon Showdown.
Some of the things i'd include in my article would be:
- First reactions,
- Opinions about the whole PS environment,
- Trying to fit in,
- Meeting new people,
- Fears of making mistakes, being afraid to ask about things you don't know
- The positive effects of a warm and welcoming community
- First competitive battles
- Goals and ambitions
The goal of the article would be to relate to other new users, for others to see how newer players feel on their first few days or weeks on PS, it would really make an interesting article, seeing a twist and having a new perspective.
I'll try to explain in a slightly humorous and interesting way how new players feel and explain their problems.
