Corviknight is one of the most versatile defensive pivots in AG, checking a myriad offensive threats such as Iron Bundle, Great Tusk, Chien-Pao, and Flutter Mane while providing its team with invaluable entry hazard control. Iron Head OHKOes Flutter Mane and hits Chien-Pao hard. Alternatively, Body Press 2HKOes Iron Bundle and OHKOes Chien-Pao, but Brave Bird is also an option to hit Great Tusk and Annihilape harder and chip potential switch-ins more. The given EVs maximize Corviknight's physical bulk while ensuring that it always avoids a 2HKO from unboosted Iron Bundle's Hydro Pump. If Iron Head is used, Corviknight should instead run a spread of 252 HP / 4 Atk / 156 Def / 96 SpD to guarantee an OHKO on Flutter Mane. Tera Steel allows Corviknight to resist Ice moves, making it a better check to Chien-Pao, while also allowing it to take a hit from Double Dance Miraidon and avoid being 2HKOed by Gothitelle. Alternatively, Tera Water provides decent overall defensive utility while also letting Corviknight pivot into Flare Blitz from Koraidon in a pinch. A Relaxed nature and minimum Speed IVs ensure that Corviknight will U-turn after most defensive Pokemon, allowing it to generate safer switches for its teammates. Corviknight fits well on all manner of balance teams as a member of the defensive core, so teammates like Toxapex, Skeledirge, Ting-Lu, and Clodsire fit well alongside it thanks to their ability to handle Koraidon and Miraidon. Additionally, Corviknight works as a great enabler to common offensive Pokemon like Miraidon, Koraidon, and Chien-Pao, bringing them in freely with U-turn, and benefits greatly from their ability to pressure its biggest threat in Gholdengo.

as discussed on discord, u-turn should not be dropped ever, dropping defog sounds very pepedumb to me because I wouldn't use corv at all if it isn't for hazard removal, I don't know which order of moves you guys agreed on but this is what I prefer

Corviknight is one of the most reliable defensive Pokemon its not a reliable defensive wall at all honestly, it sorta just fake/soft checks a lot of things, try to word this differently in AG, checking myriad offensive threats such as Iron Bundle, Great Tusk, Chien-Pao, and Flutter Mane, while providing its team with invaluable hazard control. move Iron Head sentence over here. Alternatively, Body Press 2HKOs Iron Bundle and OHKOs Chien-Pao, punishing them should they choose to stay in on it, but Brave Bird is also an option to hit Great Tusk and chip potential switch-ins more. U-turn allows Corviknight to generate momentum for its teammates. As yet another option, Iron Head OHKOs Flutter Mane and hits Chien-Pao hard. move this up If there's already hazard removal on Corviknight's team, such as Rapid Spin from Iron Treads or Great Tusk, Defog can be dropped for Iron Defense, which should be used alongside Body Press to turn Corviknight into a win condition if the opponent's special attackers have already been removed. I don't think ID is viable but this can be discussed later in the discord channel The given EVs maximize Corviknight's physical bulk while ensuring that it always avoids a 2HKO from unboosted Iron Bundle's Hydro Pump. If Iron Head is used, Corviknight should instead run 252 HP / 4 Atk / 156 Def / 96 SpD, to guarantee an OHKO on Flutter Mane. explain -ve speed + 0 ivs here. Explain what the different tera types do, the difference on what you need for a team is notable (steel for ice moves and a slightly better chance vs fairy miraidon if it’s chipped, better on teams with ting lu > clod for example, and water for general utility and resisting fire if you’re slightly cb Korai / sun weak). But also note using the tera on corv is really situational and generally mid since it’s weak and can get blown up by stuff like bundle or chi yu regardless even if you tera right.

Mention annihilape in the same sentence as tusk for bb targets, that mon loves corv on preview if it isn’t bb

I also think Gholdengo has to be mentioned somewhere, it’s the worst matchup corv has and shuts down the hazard control that’s mentioned in the first sentence. Potential corv partners you already mentioned threaten it so the importance of uturn to get them in is already written fine, id just give clarification about how big a threat it is to corv fat.

on mobile no stamp but QC 2/2
