Pros:
-Decent Attack stat + Swords Dance + Tough Claws + a good selection of moves that are boosted by it means Perrserker can actually lay down the hurt.
-Pure Steel-type is fairly solid defensively, and even offensively it's not terrible as nothing is immune to it.
-It's also a good type for a pivot since it resists Stealth Rock and is immune to Toxic Spikes.
-It has a big shit eating grin.

Cons:
-Mediocre stats overall. It is slow and not especially bulky.
-Its Speed is in a very awkward range where it's too slow to outspeed anything besides defensive mons and too fast to really take advantage of Gyro Ball or Trick Room to their fullest.
-Lacks any priority moves besides Fake Out which means it can be dead weight against more offensive teams.

Dynamax Potential:
Perrserker is an okay user of Dynamax. It appreciates the boosts provided by Max Knuckle and Max Steelspike, making it stronger and bulkier. If you use Dig, you basically need to Dynamax it to make use of the Ground coverage (unless you run a Power Herb which is 100% not worth it).

Potential Movesets:

Perrserker @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
- Crunch

Iron Head and Close Combat form the basis of Perrserker's coverage, and Crunch hits everything else for at least neutral damage. After an SD boost, Perrserker makes defensive cores weep, until it gets revenge killed by Ditto, or outsped (lol) and burnt by Rotom, or Toxapex just comes in and Hazes it or burns it. But besides that it can actually pack quite the wallop.

Perrserker @ Choice Band
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Crunch

Come into battle, and if you force them out feel free to click U-turn, as Choice Band Tough Claws boosted U-turns hurt. Perrserker is quite tough to switch into, and can OHKO or 2HKO much of the offensive meta with just Iron Head, even resists like Gyarados. These EVs put you faster than base 65s but slower than Corviknight, so if it Roosts you can hit it with a super effective Close Combat.

Perrserker @ Assault Vest
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave / Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Gyro Ball / Iron Head
- Close Combat
- U-turn

This set makes use of Perrserker's only priority move combined with its pivoting capabilities. Run more Special Defense EVs if you like. Chip something with Fake Out before tanking the hit and KOing back, or pivoting out with U-turn. Gyro Ball can be used on this set as it runs no Speed investment, but bear in mind that against a lot of slower targets Iron Head would do more (Gyro Ball does more to anything with 305 Speed or higher, otherwise Iron Head does the same or more).

Perrserker @ Leftovers
Ability: Battle Armor / Steely Spirit
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Curse
- Rest
- Sleep Talk / Amnesia
- Gyro Ball / Iron Head

CurseTalk Perrserker. This set faces a lot of competition from Copperajah, Stunfisk-Galar, Corviknight, and even Steelix, and they all have better special bulk than Perrserker. What Perrserker has to distinguish itself is a pure Steel typing, access to Gyro Ball which pairs well with Curse and Sleep Talk, access to Amnesia to patch up its special bulk too (although it has to give up Sleep Talk to use it), and most importantly, the ability Battle Armor, preventing Perrserker from being crit and having its boosts bypassed. Iron Head is slashed too because it has more PP than Gyro Ball, although the low PP isn't as much of a problem if you use Sleep Talk. Steely Spirit is an ability option that lets your Gyro Balls hit with great power when boosted, but it trades the consistency that Battle Armor can offer.

Other potential options:
-Dig can be used to hit Toxapex super effectively while still covering Aegislash. Main catch is you need to Dynamax when using it in order for it to be effective, which makes it somewhat limited.
-Seed Bomb can be used to prevent Quagsire from walling you. It's not a contact move though, so it actually does less only slightly more to Hippowdon than Iron Head.
-Steely Spirit can be used to increase the power of your Steel-type attacks by 1.5, but it’s generally inferior to Tough Claws boosting almost all of your viable moves by 1.3. It can be viably used on a mono-attacker set like the Curse set above though.
-U-turn and Iron Head are good qualities for a Choice Scarf user. Sadly Perrserker's awkward speed stat is not.
-An offensive set for use in Trick Room with Curse or SD+Room Service and Gyro Ball could be promising, but setup sweepers on Trick ream that don't have Trick Room themselves or a priority move require too much support and are easy to revenge kill, and even then Copperajah would probably do this better.

Final Thoughts:

Despite packing a punch, Perrserker can't really cut it in OU, simply being outclassed statistically, and lacking priority moves that make sweepers or breakers like Bisharp, Durant, and Lucario able to function against faster teams. Perrserker's ability to pivot out of battle with U-turn is fairly unique, though. If it got some additions to its movepool like Bullet Punch or somesuch it could function as a janky little Scizor in the lower tiers. As it is right now though, seems primed to drop and keep dropping.

Thought i could bring a few good tidings: it was confirmed that Steely Spirit also applies to itself, giving Perrserker a 2nd STAB boost for its steel type attacks, making Max Steel Spike and Iron Head especially dangerous.
Oh nice. I amended the post to include this. Steely Spirit is actually a pretty good ability but generally doesn’t offer much over Tough Claws, could be nice on a mono-attacker set though.
