[SET COMMENTS]

Passimian's solid Attack, decent Speed and bulk, and great coverage allow it to act as a decent revenge killer against Pokemon like Cobalion, Heliolisk, and Choice Specs Gardevoir. Moreover, it separates itself from other Choice Scarf users due to its ability in Defiant, letting it punish metagame staples like Parting Shot Incineroar and Defog Rotom-W. However, it is held back as a Choice Scarf user by its inability to revenge kill Dragon Dance Haxorus, unlike Flygon. Gunk Shot lets Passimian hit Fairy-types like Sylveon and Gardevoir. Knock Off punishes switch-ins like Noivern, Doublade, and Galarian Weezing, and U-turn lets Passimian maintain momentum against switch-ins like Noivern and offensive Galarian Weezing that it can't otherwise break through without a Defiant boost. Earthquake and Rock Slide are alternative options to Gunk Shot; the former allows Passimian to revenge kill Toxtricity and non-Choice Scarf Darmanitan and hit Doublade the hardest after its Eviolite has been removed, while the latter lets it revenge kill Noivern. However, forgoing Gunk Shot leaves Passimian walled by Sylveon.

Passimian fits best on bulky offense teams, especially those utilizing Spikes, that appreciate its ability to deter Defoggers like Rotom-W and dissuade Incineroar from using Parting Shot. Roserade is a great partner that can provide Spikes support and pressure Passimian's checks like Galarian Weezing and Sylveon when brought in through U-turn, allowing Passimian to clean up late-game. In return, it appreciates Passimian pressuring Steel-types like Copperajah and Cobalion. Stealth Rock setters like Gigalith and Rhyperior can check Noivern for Passimian, and the chip damage from their entry hazards can help Passimian pick up KOs. Heavy Slam variants of either can also help check Sylveon and Galarian Weezing, reducing the pressure on Passimian to predict correctly. Passimian is unable to revenge kill setup sweepers like Dragon Dance Haxorus, Dragon Dance Necrozma, and Barbaracle, so teammates that can revenge kill or check them, such as Golisopod and Escavalier, are extremely helpful. Golisopod can also provide Spikes support, while Escavalier can check Roserade and Psychic-types like Gardevoir, Espeon, and Reuniclus that may attempt to revenge kill Passimian after it locks into Close Combat. In return, Escavalier appreciates Passimian pressuring Incineroar. Teammates like Rotom-W and Incineroar can check and pressure Ghost-types like Doublade and Chandelure, allowing Passimian to more freely use Close Combat. They can also bring Passimian in on Pokemon like Celebi and Gigalith that it can pressure. Noivern can check Fighting-resistant Pokemon like Celebi, Roserade, Doublade, and Golisopod and bring Passimian in on Gigalith. Wallbreakers like Copperajah and offensive Galarian Weezing appreciate Passimian forcing in Pokemon like Sylveon and Galarian Weezing that they can punish, allowing it to clean late-game more easily. Offensive Galarian Weezing can also provide Toxic Spikes support to further pressure Passimian's switch-ins.

Knock Off punishes switch-ins like Noivern, Doublade, and Weezing-Galar, while U-turn lets Passimian maintain momentum against switch-ins like Noivern and Weezing-Galar that it can't otherwise break through without Defiant being triggered. I would bring up Earthquake here as a potential option over Gunk Shot. It doesn't offer as good of coverage but revenge kills Toxtricity, Darmanitan, and Doublade after being knocked.

Passimian fits best on bulky offense teams, especially those utilising Spikes, that appreciate its ability Defiant allowing it to deter Defoggers like Rotom-W and stop Incineroar freely clicking Parting Shot against its teammates. Roserade is a great partner that can provide Spikes, and pressure checks like Milotic and Sylveon for Passimian, and appreciates Passimian being able to deter removal of its Spikes. Stealth Rock setters like Gigalith and Rhyperior can check Noivern for Passimian. If it isn't too clunky I'd also bring up the chip damage's ability to potentially allow Pass to clean up late-game. Heavy Slam variants of either can also help check Sylveon and Weezing, reducing the pressure on Passimian to need to predict it switching in. Passimian is unable to revenge kill set up sweepers like Dragon Dance Haxorus and Necrozma, teammates that can revenge kill or check them such as Golisopod and Escavalier are therefore extremely helpful. Golisopod can also provide spikes, while Escavalier can help to check Roserade and other Psychic-types like Gardevoir, Espeon, and Reuniclus that may attempt to revenge kill Passimian after it locks into Close Combat, and appreciates Passimian pressuring Incineroar for it. Teammates like Rotom-Wash and Incineroar can help to check and pressure Ghost-types like Doublade and Chandelure for Passimian, allowing it to more freely click Close Combat. They can also bring Passimian in on Pokemon like Celebi and Gigalith that it can pressure. Noivern can help check Fighting-resists like Celebi, Roserade, and Golisopod, bring Passimian in on Gigalith, and provide another answer to fast Pokemon like Heliolisk and Cobalion.

Passimian's combination of a solid Attack stat, along with decent Speed and bulk, and its great coverage allow it to act as a decent revenge killer against Pokemon like Cobalion, Heliolisk and Choice Specs Gardevoir this is just bc you don't reliably rk scarf since they speed tie. Passimian separates itself from other Choice Scarf users due to its ability Defiant, letting it punish metagame staples like Parting Shot Incineroar and Defog Rotom-W. It is however held back as a Choice Scarf user by its inability to revenge kill Dragon Dance Haxorus, unlike other choices such as Flygon. Passimian fits best on bulky offense teams, especially those utilising Spikes, that appreciate its ability Defiant allowing it to deter Defoggers like Rotom-W and stop Incineroar freely clicking Parting Shot against its teammates. Roserade is a great partner that can provide Spikes, and pressure checks like Milotic the analysis spread for milo gets 2hkod after rocks by pass most of the time, i would consider changing this example to weezing or something and Sylveon for Passimian, and appreciates Passimian being able to deter removal of its Spikes. might also be worth mentioning that pass pressures steels like raj/escav Stealth Rock setters like Gigalith and Rhyperior can check Noivern for Passimian, while the chip damage from their entry hazards can allow Passimian to clean up late-game. Heavy Slam variants of either can also help check Sylveon and Galarian Weezing, reducing the pressure on Passimian to need to predict it switching in. Passimian is unable to revenge kill set up sweepers like Dragon Dance Haxorus and Necrozma is necro the best example? i know you need a bunch of damage to rk it but you -do- outspeed it, there might be something better here like barb, teammates that can revenge kill or check them such as Golisopod and Escavalier are therefore extremely helpful. They can also bring Passimian in on Pokemon like Celebi and Gigalith that it can pressure. Noivern can help check Fighting-resists like Celebi, Roserade iffy on this just because rose isn't really a fighting resist but it's probably fine, and Golisopod, bring Passimian in on Gigalith, and provide another answer to fast Pokemon like Heliolisk and Cobalion.

I don't see why this applies to Scarf Passimian.

Integrate a line on some wallbreakers that appreciate the free pivot allowing them to break easier and open up the option for Passimian to clean late-game.
