Resource OU Speed Tiers (New!)

art by AmirAlexander
approved by Finchinator
Hello lads and lasses, with the new table option of xenforo 2.1 we are now capable of making speed tiers much more aesthetically pleasing and easier to digest, and I also happened to realize the current resource felt very ancient, so i rebooted it entirely, adding relevant entries and cutting out irrelevant ones. Of course, as a human, I'm very prone to mistake so feel more than welcome to post in this thread if you notice anything that should be fixed, added, or removed!

I decided to split it into several post for two reasons: firstly, wouldn't even fit it one post (it would break the 65k limit by a landslide) and secondly, it's a hell of a lot easier for me to edit them this way, because i need to use BB code if I have to add or remove an entry. So yeah don't call me a likewhore for splitting them, I am a likewhore but this time it has nothing to do with it.

Without further ado, here's the resource:

Looks great! There are a couple instances where the base stats are listed incorrectly, like Jirachi and Zapdos being shown with base 91 when they should have base 100.

Should 0 Speed Negative nature Mega Heracross be listed due to its use on Trick Room?

i limited myself to only have mega mawile, alolan marowak, crawdaunt, and magearna listed with trick room entries, as the playstyle is very bad. i've personally never seen mega heracross trick room and i'm not really sure jf giving up mega mawile would be a good idea on this already very constrained playstyle. plus trick room is kind of dead anyway. so yeah, not sure if its the best of ideas.

will fix that promptly, thanks!!

Quick question locri: why did you include unviable pokes like Electrode, Haxorus, and Talonflame in your list?
Electrode is a really niche screens setter that boasts the highest unboosted Speed tier in 150, tying with MZam and MAero.

Haxorus is another niche stallbreaker with access to Swords Dance / Dragon Dance + Mold Breaker.

I don't know about Talonflame

If I recall correctly, Talonflame has (or at least had, a while ago) an OU analysis for a Gale Wings Supersonic Skystrike set. Maybe that’s why.

I agree with JTD783 0 speed negative nature mega heracross should be added. Although TR is quite niche, mega heracross is another viable mega to use if your not using mawile. And no its not unviable at all actually, mega hera is actually pretty good IMO. And tbh if your gonna be consistent with ultra rare picks like electrode, haxorus, and talon then I would even put 0 speed Mega Banette as a trick room abuser(you may think im joking, but im not, its used very rarely, like electrode etc...). Im fine with having non ranked stuff up their, but I think you should keep it consistent, because mega hera is definitely not uncommon on TR, and its actually a ranked mon on the VR.

Another mon i think that should be added is choice scarf magneton. Timid scarf magneton hits 393 speed, outrunning +1 dnite, non scarf weavile, and most importantly greninja before ash form. Its used from time to time so I think this one makes sense.
