Part 2: Team Explanation:
Teammate 1:
Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 16 Def / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Psyshock
- Moonblast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Fairly standard set, 240 Spe to outspeed Choice Scarf Hoopa-Unbound and Beedrill-Mega. Hidden Power Fire to hit Steel Types such as Scizor-Mega. Even though a Modest Nature makes Tapu Lele slower than Adamant Nature Urshifu-Rapid-Strike, it allows to pick up OHKOs and 2HKOs it previously couldn't, especially with Tera Psychic. The 16 Defense EVs give it a greater chance at surviving neutral physical attacks from full health.
Teammate 2:
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
At this point, it was obvious that Urshifu-Rapid-Strike (even without Adamant) would probably be able to decimate my team if I didn't carry at least one Water Absorb mon. I also needed a way to threaten Heatran since it completely walls my Tapu-Lele set. In comes Ogerpon-Wellspring, who can fit both of those roles effectively (albeit temporarily thanks to Heatran wearing it down using Magma Storm and Urshifu-Rapid-Strike pivoting out using U-Turn) and help keep the offensive pressure going using Swords Dance + Ivy Cudgel.
Teammate 3:
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
I needed a mon to act as a defensive check to Heatran, Tapu-Lele and other strong special attackers and Fire types. The prominence of Ceruledge and Charizard-Mega-Y made this point even stronger. Ceruledge in particular can be difficult to check thanks to Psychic Terrain actually aiding the opponent sweep. With this in mind, Heatran was a perfect solution, with Tera Grass to better aid its job in checking the aforementioned Fire types repeatedly. Heatran can also set up Stealth Rock to help chip down answers to Ogerpon-Wellspring and Tapu Lele. The Defense EVs are chosen to help in the Urshifu-Rapid-Strike matchup.
Teammate 4:
Landorus-Therian @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 12 HP / 140 Atk / 204 SpD / 152 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Fly
- Smack Down
- U-turn
This team now seemed incredibly weak to a +1 Speed Great Tusk, since the usual check in Tapu Lele is not running maximum Speed EVs. It is true that maximum Speed can be bluffed, but a backup plan must still exist in case the opponent is smart enough to do some damage calculations and realize Tapu Lele is running a Modest Nature. Landorus-Therian is obviously not a perfect check thanks to Great Tusk often carrying Ice Spinner for Gliscor and Landorus-Therian, but Landorus-Therian can surprise the Great Tusk user with the uncommon Supersonic Skystrike. Smack Down + Earthquake in conjunction with U-Turn is an interesting combination that keeps momentum up and really punishes switching to a Kanto legendary bird on U-Turn since Smack Down isn't even a contact move. The Speed EVs are to outspeed the Defensive Zapdos set on Smogon and the other EVs are explained in the calcs.
Teammate 5:
Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Power Gem
- Moonblast
- Mystical Fire
- Earth Power
With the usual defogger in Landorus-Therian having all of its move slots taken up, and Great Tusk looking like a bad fit for the team thanks to its inability to both outspeed threats and deal any amount of reasonable damage without some form of setup. Diancie-Mega is a good fit for being fast and strong and also provides some form of utility in Magic Bounce. This set appreciates Diancie-Mega's immediate defensive utility a lot, so it uses Power Gem with a Timid Nature to trade some mixed attacking potential for extra damage and extra switch-in longevity. Notably, Power Gem over Diamond Storm allows for an OHKO on Defensive Pelipper, which it previously couldn't achieve, and the neutral defense nature helps it survive Close Combat from a mispredicting Adamant Nature Urshifu-Rapid-Strike. Diancie-Mega also appreciates support from the aforementioned Tapu Lele in Psychic Terrain blocking priority Bullet Punch and Aqua Jet from Scizor-Mega and Azumarill.
Teammate 6:
Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pickpocket
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Low Kick
The team was lacking a form of priority and a way to punish teams that had Magic Bounced hazards onto their side of the field, and a fairly good fit for these requirements was Weavile. Even though Psychic Terrain blocks priority attacks, this does not apply to Flying types and Levitate pokemon, and Weavile can hit Flying type pokemon with a super effective of neutral Ice Shard, such as in the case of Enamorus, Pinsir-Mega. This also helps in general to have a priority attack, since Psychic Terrain likely won't stay up for the majority of the game. Another target is Rillaboom, whose endgames would otherwise be completely lost even if the Rillaboom was chipped. Icicle Crash is used to avoid Static from Zapdos hoping to come in on a Triple Axel. Low Kick is used here to chip Heatran and Tyranitar looking to absorb a Triple Axel or Knock Off to help Tapu Lele clean up later in the game.

Part 3: Team Weaknesses:
- The team is quite weak to Veil HO, having no counterplay apart from stalling it out.
- The team is difficult to play against Stall, and Tapu Lele is the only consistent (Landorus-Therian is a one time nuke) wallbreaker on the team.
- The team loses to Tera Grass Rillaboom.
- The team loses to Greninja-Bond if it gets a KO and ifOgerpon-Wellspring is chipped.
- Limited counterplay against Blaziken and other Speed boosting threats. This includes Dragon/Quiver Dancers.
- Limited counterplay against Banette-Mega Destiny Bond 50/50.
- Limited counterplay against rain teams.
