AAA Original Prankster (Prankster Smeargle) [QC 2/2] [GP 1/1] [DONE]

[SET]
Sticky Web (Smeargle) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sticky Web
- Taunt
- Memento
- Stone Axe
[SET COMMENTS]

Smeargle functions incredibly as an entry hazard lead on hyper offense teams thanks to its ability to lay Sticky Web and Stealth Rock via Stone Axe. Taunt can prevent hazards from Deoxys-D and Skarmory and sweepers such as Gouging Fire and Dragonite from setting up, while Memento can allow safe switch-ins for other frail Pokemon like Gengar and Chien-Pao. Smeargle is exclusively used on hyper offense teams due to it more or less being a suicide lead. Some notable partners include frail attackers such as Swords Dance Iron Boulder and Sheer Force Gengar, which benefit greatly from Sticky Web and the safe switch-in Memento provides. Some counters to Smeargle include Roaring Moon and Chien-Pao, since they are both immune to Taunt and Memento, enabling them to use it as setup fodder; as a result, Fighting-types such as offensive Bulk Up Great Tusk and Iron Hands are good partners. Another Pokemon that annoys Smeargle is Great Tusk due to its hazard removal capabilities, making threats such as Swords Dance Ceruledge, Ogerpon-C, and Tail Glow Manaphy much appreciated.

Is there a chance that the set could be modified so that instead of running Stone Axe, Smeargle could run Stealth Rocks? I think its just better if you want to Taunt turn 1 then use Rocks.

Since Smeargle can learn every move in the game thanks to Sketch, this is dex info (aka things that are already in the dex [an example of dex info would be saying WBB makes Gholdengo immune to Fire-type moves] Smeargle best functions as a lead Hazard Setter. the next sentence basically explains this one better Smeargle fits superbly on Hyper Offense teams because of Sticky Web and Stone Axe which allows Smeargle to set up Stealth Rock dex info. This greatly benefits setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Iron Boulder and Nasty Plot Gholdengo odd mention since NP Gholdengo is worse than Gengar on webs. Taunt and Memento are utilized so that opposing sweepers like Gouging Fire and Bulk Up Great Tusk get stopped in their tracks. would rephrase this whole sentence - taunt denies setup and hazard setting attempts, while memento allows a teammate in safely Considering that it has mediocre speed, Smeargle greatly benefits from Prankster, which allows it to live a hit thanks to its Focus Sash and be able to use two of its moves before dying. this whole sentence feels like fluff - you dont need to explain what sash does and you dont really need to explain what Prankster does. Suitable partners include setup sweepers why do they partner with smeargle? a better example would be saying dangerous setup threats that are held back by middling speed like Tail Glow Manaphy, Thundurus-I, etc such as Gouging Fire, Tail Glow Manaphy, Swords Dance Chien-Pao any many more. However, Smeargle is vulnerable against Dragonite, because Extreme Speed outspeeds Smeargle's status moves and dark type pokemon like Roaring Moon and Chien-Pao since dark types are immune to Prankster. not sure what's happening here - maybe you meant that dark type setup sweepers can use smeargle as setup fodder? if so, mention teammates that pair well with smeargle which can force out these threats. However, with aid from Fluffy or Intimidate Corviknight or Fluffy Manaphy, they should not be too much to handle. this whole sentence isnt accurate - webs shouldnt be using these Pokemon since you will lose a ton of momentum that you've gained by getting hazards up in exchange for playing a 5v6
would like to recheck after implementation, please ping me here or on discord, my discord tag is almostanyability

On second glance, I really don't like what I wrote. Do you mind if I can just have a do-over? I was very tired when writing this and I want to write this with more effort.

Smeargle functions incredibly as a lead hazard setter on Hyper Offense teams thanks to Sticky Web and Stealth Rock via Stone Axe. Taunt and Memento are two other prominent moves as Taunt can prevent hazard setup from Deoxys-D and Skarmory as well as prevent sweepers such as Gouging Fire and Dragonite from sweeping with Dragon Dance and while Memento can allow safe switch-ins for other frail Pokémon like Deoxys-S and Chien-Pao. While Smeargle can fit incredibly on any type of team, it best functions on Hyper Offense teams Smeargle is exlusively used on Hyper Offense due to it being more or less a suicide lead. Some notable partners include frail attackers such as Swords Dance Iron Boulder and Sheer Force Gengar, which also benefit greatly from Sticky Web and the safe switch-in via Memento. However, some noteworthy vulnerabilities include Aerilate Dragonite, whose Extreme Speed outspeeds Smeargle's Prankster affected moves, and Dark Types such as Chien-Pao and Roaring Moon, who can use Smeargle as setup fodder since they are both immune to Taunt and Memento. To counter these threats, it is valuable to have defensive Pokémon such as Corviknight or Great Tusk be able to take hits from Dragonite, Chien-Pao and Roaring Moon These sentences isn't necessarily correct; Smeargle can still set up Webs versus these thanks to Focus Sash. However, if you're talking about Dark-types blocking Taunt and stuff, I'd recommend mentioning partners that force those out instead, since Hyper Offense teams dislike having defensive mons. Also mention partners that threaten hazard removal users, since they're able to remove your webs, putting you at a huge disadvantage. However, if you want to stick with Hyper Offense Once again should only be seen on Hyper Offense teams, Deoxys-S is a helpful asset due to its incredible speed, high offensive power in either Sheer Force or Psychic Surge Expanding Force and since it can easily get a safe switch-in from Memento. This sentence is odd; a lot of Pokemon fit on Sticky-Webs offense, not just Deoxys-S. mention instead slower wallbreakers such as Ceruledge, All Ogerpon formes, and Thundurus-T as they appreciate not being outsped by threats

Smeargle functions incredibly as a lead hazard setter on Hyper Offense teams thanks to Sticky Web and Stealth Rock via Stone Axe. Taunt and Memento are two other prominent moves as Taunt can prevent hazard setup from Deoxys-D and Skarmory as well as prevent sweepers such as Gouging Fire and Dragonite from sweeping with Dragon Dance, (AC) while Memento can allow safe switch-ins for other frail Pokémon like Deoxys-S and Chien-Pao. Smeargle is exclusively used on Hyper Offense due to it being more or less a suicide lead. Some notable partners include frail attackers such as Swords Dance Iron Boulder and Sheer Force Gengar, which also benefit greatly from Sticky Web and the safe switch-in via Memento. Some counters to Smeargle include Roaring Moon and Chien-Pao, since they are both immune to Taunt and Memento, which enables them to use Smeargle as setup fodder, which makes Fighting-types such as Great Tusk and Iron Hands good parnters. To counter these threats, you use can use Iron Hands, whose natural bulk and power allows it to take a hit or two from Roaring Moon or Chien-Pao, and revenge kill with either Drain Punch or Close Combat, and you can also use Great Tusk, which similarly to Iron Hands, has incredible bulk and power and is able to destroy Chien-Pao and Roaring Moon with Close Combat, but it is a bit threatened by Icicle Crash from Chien-Pao A lot of this is fluff; most people are aware of how Fighting-types beat Dark-types, so it's better to just shorten it down to them forcing out said Dark-types out. Another Pokemon that annoys Smeargle is Great Tusk due to its hazard removal capabilities, (AC). However, Great Tusk can be easily countered due to its lackluster Special Defense allowing Special Attackers such as Manaphy and Deoxys-S to OHKO Great Tusk via Scald from Manaphy or Psychic from Deoxys-S making specially offensive threats such as Deoxys-S, Walking Wake, and Tail Glow Manaphy much appreciated. There are many Pokemon that are able to benefit from Sticky Web, such as Ceruledge, due to its average speed but high offense and its ability to raise its attack even higher from Swords Dance, all Ogerpon formes, which similarly to Ceruledge have high offense and have Swords Dance, and Thundurus-T, which has enomorus offensive power as well as Nasty Plot to deal even more damage. Thundurus-T, and all Ogerpon formes due to their lackluster speed tiers.

Analyses looks good overall; just pointing out that you don't always have to go into detail on how certain interactions work, most of the time its understood that Great Tusk for example is forced out by strong special attackers. These are Minis after all; we only cover the basics of interactions

Another Pokemon that annoys Smeargle is Great Tusk due to its hazard removal capabilities, making specially offensive threats such as Deoxys-S , Walking Wake, deos doesnt abuse webs, and wake isnt really good since it tends to lose a fair bit of momentum that smeargle provides; hence, you could include slow setup users like Swords Dance Ceruledge, Ogerpon-C, and Tail Glow Manaphy much appreciated. There are many Pokemon that are able to benefit from Sticky Web, such as Ceruledge, Thundurus-T, and all Ogerpon formes due to their lackluster speed tiers. you basically said this in the "some notable partners... boulder... gengar part"; it would be better if you specified that those threats were slow and hence appreciate webs as a means of preventing revenge killing attempts.

Apologies, but I'm not gonna be able to make these changes for at least another 24 hours due to a retreat occurring at my school, should someone else finish this or should we wait 24 hours so I can make the changes?
