Serperior @ Light Clay
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Leaf Storm
- Taunt

Serperior slithers into the battlefield as the premier dual screens setter in ORAS OU! Its great Speed, decent bulk, and access to Taunt mean Serperior will almost always get at least one of Light Screen and Reflect up. Contrary Leaf Storm means that Serperior also can apply offensive pressure, checking Rotom-W and Manaphy and chipping foes such as Garchomp and Gliscor. Taunt not only lets Serperior stop foes such as Clefable and Gliscor from setting up and recovering HP but also stops entry hazards and other status moves. This set fits best on hyper offense teams where teammates such as Volcarona, Bisharp, Mega Scizor, Mega Altaria, and Manaphy can use the added bulk dual screens provide to set up more freely and become tougher to revenge kill. The latter two are especially good partners, as they can check Heatran, which walls Serperior.
