Alakazam-Mega (M) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Taunt

Mega Alakazam telekinetically tears through ORAS OU with ease; with a blistering Speed tier and a tremendous Special Attack stat, attributes that make this Psychic-type a top choice in the meta, not much can withstand its consecutive blows. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast round off Mega Alakazam's offensive arsenal, with the former letting it bust through bulky Psychic-types such as Mega Metagross, Mega Latias, and Slowbro, while the latter deals with Pokemon like Tyranitar, Excadrill, and Ferrothorn, which would otherwise check it. Taunt allows Mega Alakazam to bust through bulkier teams by preventing checks such as Chansey and Mega Scizor from recovering, letting it wear them down in the long run. Hazard support is very useful for Mega Alakazam to be at its most threatening, as its checks are easily worn into range of its attacks with minor chip, making Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Skarmory solid partners. Due to Mega Alakazam's frailty, pivots such as Rotom-W and Tornadus-T are key in order to bring it in safely.

i assume this means add on to the slashes on 4th move, although that might be a bit too much to have to write, ill see if i can keep it in the word limit tho

This isn't an analysis, we don't need to mention possible alternatives that aren't listed on the set. All that's required is what's actually being shown.

jonfilch ^ and it goes a good bit past word limit with all the other move mentions, can you do an actual qc on this with the current set? Or if the qc team wants to add more moves, maybe decrease it a bit? 5 is a bit too much to write about

I would change the wording regarding hazards. They aren't exactly "crucial" but they are nice to have.

After that qc 1/1

Mega Alakazam telekinetically tears through ORAS OU with ease; (SC) sporting with a blistering Speed tier and a tremendous Special Attack stat, attributes that make this Psychic-type a top choice in the meta, not much can withstand its consecutive blows. (AP) consecutively, attributes that make this Psychic a top choice in the meta. Taunt is a key tool for this Mega Alakazam set, allowing it allows Mega Alakazam to bust through bulkier playstyles teams by preventing checks such as Chansey and Mega Scizor from recovering, letting it wear them down in the long run. Hazard support is substantially very useful for Mega Alakazam to be at its most threatening, as its checks are easily worn into range of its attacks with minor chip, making partners Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Skarmory solid partners. Due to Mega Alakazam's frailty, pivots such as Rotom-W and Tornadus-T are key in order to bring it in safely.
