Tournament OMPL VII - Week 2

Silent Mobius

Banned deucer.
I was not aware this was going to be the final ompl for ag and now I regret not joining. I do not know any history for any other tier besides ag and shall only predict in that category. Every player playing is a great player and either result would not surprise me. As we have seen last round, one timely crit can change the entire momentum of the battle--Hunterstorm vs Arushi bb crit on ceus water game 2 and Zenithial vs PG arceus ground crit on cm rock. In addition, mu's play a huge role as well, with goth being a horrendous mu for thimo. Such are the thin margins that separate great players.

PurpleGatorade(40) vs Arushi(60) - Both are great players and this could go either way. PG uses standard, but great balances. Arushi is a bit more innovative in the team building department and I feel this will be the difference.

BaconEatinAssassin(50) vs Megazard(50)- This battle pits one of the most consistent tour players in Megazard up against an equally great player that is under the radar sometimes( Bacon reached the semi's in the ag spring for those who are not aware). Verdict: I call this too close to call.

Skarpherim(60) vs Zenithial(40) - Both are in the top tier of ag players and this match shall produce fire works. As great of a player as Zen is, I've gotta give the edge to Skarph. Skarph may have come off a disappointing ompl last year, but he is now in his prime and seeking to make redemption.

Hunterstorm(40) vs Thimo(60)- Last but not least, we have a match between two legends of the game. Both have not played in a long time, but still maintain their god-given skills at this game. Despite losing 0-2 to Megazard, I predict Thimo to come back with guns blazing and take this one. And like Fardin said, when it comes to prepping for a specific player and c teaming in tours, Thimo was one of the best to do it.

As we all know, AG is the best and the only real tier in Pokemon. Gl to all!

won in 3 vs the goat, not sure if I deserved to win but wanted to say it was an incredible series and was everything I had hoped it would be. It basically had everything and each game was won by the finest of margins, so thank you for giving me that my friend. I think I've made it up to myself after losing AGLT finals to velvet, though they were some great games as well.
