Ability: Primordial Sea
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Liquidation
- Flip Turn
- Close Combat
- Aqua Jet

Chandelure requires a strong pivot imo to be used to its full potential. Barraskewda is able to provide this along with the necessary speed control Chandelure requires as well, as its high speed tier lets it outspeed 99% of the unboosted metagame. These two in tandem are able to provide fantastic power on both the physical and special side, proving problematic for many AAA teams. Along with this, the Pokemon that most often want to switch into Flip Turn (Physdef Pert, Kommo-o, Corviknight) are not able to check Shadow Ball from Chandelure. This gives you an opportunity to set up a Substitute and click buttons and profit.

This core does falter a bit versus Scarf Fini, so an offensive way to pressure it out (NG Gene, Zarude, Zapdos) is a way to bolster this core.

With Chandelure's amazing ability to pressure defensive cores by itself, a defensive teammate is much more needed than an offensive one. Chandelure is weak to numerous common offensive types, and Toxapex can easily absorb any water type attacks that assault vest regenerator water types spam against Chandelure, and it can also absorb the ubiquitous knock off that Chandelure has to swap out against. Another major weakness of Chandelure is that it is bullied by faster attackers. Toxapex fits a crucial role against setup attackers that can force out Chandelure, saving the user from having to sack Chandelure to prevent a team sweep. Toxapex can also switch into a lot of common choice scarfers that can force Chandelure out.
On the other hand, Chandelure is a solid piece to the toxic spikes strategy. It can exert much more pressure against its common checks, such as Tapu Fini and Swampert, with the support of Toxic spikes, and can also pressure common defoggers / heal bellers such as Zapdos / Blissey from freely clicking their key move. This in general will significantly speed up the progress and in another way help with Chandelure's lack of longevity.

The reason Blace always seemed so unbearable was it was really hard to chip and had knock. Knock off as a move does so much for a special attacker, suddenly turning 3hkoes into 2hkoes on regen walls. This is the gap this thundy set aims to fill. Mixed thundy has been one of my favorite sets for some time, it does so much work every game and is just fast enough. It knocks stuff, 2hkoes prime sea zap (living a thunder), messes up zarude, lures shadow ball blissey, and you can literally alter its coverage to suit whatever your team needs. Weak to AV pert? No worries knock + knot will do it for you, chomper is annoying? chip from knock + u-turn + toxic + potential hazards means it cant switch into shadow ball that easily. And counters to this set like VA corvi are just set up bait to chandy. All in all these two do quite well together as an offensive core, the trick is you finish the entire team, and whatever you are weak to you just alter the thundy coverage accordingly. Also the mon is helmet and hazards proof, which means it can actually u-turn multiple times in a game without worrying about the chip

Keldeo @ Lucarionite

Timid Nature
- Secret Sword
- Flip Turn
- Scald / Hydro Pump
- Calm Mind

Keldeo is the perfect offensive partner for Zapdos as both have fantastic breaking synergy. Zapdos is great at breaking the many fat water-types MnM has that Keldeo struggles with, and baits in Rock/Ground-types as well as Blissey to U-Turn that Keldeo is able to beat. Combined, these two are able to form a strong pivot-core, as Keldeo baits in the fat-water types previously addressed and Flip Turns on them to bring out Zapdos. Calm Mind is here so Keldeo can grab more clean OHKOs, but it can be replaced with almost any move you could want. I prefer Scald on my Keldeos purely because burn is stupid, but Hydro can be preferable in some scenarios because of the power.

I will phrase this so you'll think I'm good...

Zygarde@Lucarionite is a good partner for Cameruptite Zapdos as it can take advantage of Zapdos' U-turn on several foes, such as the aforementionned Rhyperior/Blissey/Specially Defensive Hippowdon to freely setup/use Substitute, but it can also help to threaten soft check such as Magearna, Magnezone, and Heatran, as well as passing through rare other checks such as Dialga and Tyranitar. Also just click buttons and win.

For me the best support of aerodactyle is :

Zeraora @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Switch
- Bolt Strike
- Close Combat
- Knock Off

Zeraora take all what aerodactyle need , with Volt Switch you can drop aerodactyle without risk and destroy bulky mon and defensive cores (if you don't miss head smash hihi) you do a very big dammage to Seismitoad ,Ferrothorn,buzzwol... that help zera to do à big work if you poke or kill the defensive core and zera can knock Off the Rocky Helmet of Ferrothorn for example to avoid the poke and dammage to aerodactyle because with his weakness of Stealth Rock and the poke He can die quickly . This two pokemon have a verry good speed tier and are really good to play in offensive team +zera with his Ability He can absorb the electrical dammage of the pokemon adverse that help à lot aerodactyle if he lock in Brave bird or other move vs an eletrical mon like thunderus for example.

- First Impression

The Gimlaf classic. I wanted to go adamant so bad but I like how jolly beats +1 buzz. First impression is only there to hit ttar if it stays in to accel you and to hit any scarf mons over base 90. U-turn is nice since you can pivot out on the flying resist they have. Most teams are not designed to handle 2 fast and strong flying types. First impression can be spikes, sticky webs, or even gambit (which i wouldn't recommend but hey it's 263 damage). I would also recommend adding a spikes / sr user to the team to help get the extra chip that Ninjask needs. Only real threat i'd say is max hp max phys. def rotom-w and maybe hippowdon / steelix.
( 252 Atk Choice Band Ninjask Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 136-162 (38.6 - 46%) -- 86.7% chance to 2HKO after 3 layers of Spikes and Leftovers recovery)
( 252 Atk Choice Band Ninjask Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Seismitoad: 198-234 (47.8 - 56.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after 1 layer of Spikes and Leftovers recovery)
( 252 Atk Choice Band Ninjask Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 123-145 (40.4 - 47.6%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after 2 layers of Spikes)

Aerodactyl's biggest weakness tends to be getting worn down by rocks over the course of a match before it can do its job.

Clefable @ Leftovers

Oh look a hazard remover. This can also pivot into Aerodactyl giving it plenty of opportunities for it and its breaking buddies to break. The moveset is pretty set in stone for this specific type of support but the ability and item can be played with as needed. The exception is that Fire Blast can be run if removing Ferrothorn is more important to your team than pivoting support.

Ferrothorn is able to handle most of the issues that Aerodactyl deals with- bulky Ground-types and priority from Weavile, Tyranitar, and opposing Aerodactyl especially. Hippowdon in particular can be annoying for Aerodactyl, so something that isn’t dissuaded by Toxic makes for a great partner. Spikes support is also key in enabling Aerodactyl in a lot of matchups vs things like Toxapex and bulky Ground-types where they may try switching around more in an attempt to check this monster.

excels at keeping physical walls on risky health due to fire lash's constant defence drops, making it easier to damage and keep them in gigas range. glacial lance is an option against zygarde-c, one of the safer blanket checks to gigas (since you only hard lose to 1 fairly uncommon coverage option), though setup + 3 attacks gigas tends to get bogged down if 'that one check' that stuffs all your coverage shows up, so nuzzle on this can allow for gigas to pile on spikes and maintain pressure in drawn-out games without relying on parahax or excessive team support. you also pressure eternatus massively which can otherwise make coming in with gigas difficult.

Its very simple, this synergy almost made in heaven. What switches into eternatus in an average game? psea magearna or celesteela, scales zama, Regenvest Dialga and other special walls. Basically the entire premise of the set is to volt switch out of those walls and go to Gigas which scares the hell out of them with a huge pblades or crippling them with a nuzzle. You can get a free sd or nuzzle and if gigas is walled by a fc pokemon, because of Regenerator eternatus can usually just switch into them and force in the special walls for gigas to do its thing all over again. eternatus has regenerator to switch into and pester fc walls and pranksters like giratina again and again.

Lunala is a great partner for SD Regigigas. Its typing and bulk will reliably prevent opposing Imposter from sweeping your team, but is still a solid wall that won't be deadweight in other matchups (next time, Drifblim). Core Enforcer is just generally a good move and allows you to check most opposing Regigigas, whereas Topsy-Turvy is better at deterring setup. Lunala is a great status-spreader to pair with Gigas because it can simultaneously support its team by spreading burns/para while powering up its own Hex, and together they form a potent combination late-game.

this is the dumbest set of all time. basically youre steela so you imposter proof the regi. helmet is so u dont get memed by sd nuzzle. the idea is to be aggressive with spikes (if you get regi in with spikes you basically automatically win) and own bounce hooh with dstorm. run some ph xern or like qd pixilate and win literally every single game on the face of the earth.

- Topsy-Turvy

One of the many downfalls of Swords Dance Regigigas is its inability to Imposter-Proof itself as +2 Precipice Blades and Facade is not only a huge threat to itself but to most of its teammates. As such Imposter Driftloon can easily fill in the role of Imposter-proofing it with its unique typing as an Imposter Regigigas has to use Nuzzle to damage it. The set it uses is fairly straightforward, Jungle Healing to remove Paralysis, Anchor Shot to trap and remove an Imposter Regigigas, and Topsy-Turvy to prevent the struggle from killing it in the case that Regigigas does boost up to that point. However, the utility of Driftloon doesn't stop there, as it also can serve as a decent Imposter user courtesy of the massive defense and Special Defense Boosts it gets from Eviolite and it's valuable Immunity to Spikes. And with that, it serves threefold as a scout, a set-up check, and an Imposter Proof for Regigigas and the rest of its team.

Highly underrated Pokemon which people probably haven't seen in a while. Principle is that you lure in Giritina and dispose of the trash, providing a solid path for Regigigas. Can also be done to unsuspecting Ho-Oh, Celesteela, and Poison Heal Fini. Triage Oblivion Wing is self explanatory, you 2HKO the aforementioned, while having great sweeping potential once boosted. Can also lure in Poison Heal Xern once boosted which gets rid of Spikes pressure for Regigigas. Thunder Cage allows this entire niche to happen to ensure Regi's main checks are gone. Earth Power is so that Yveltal isn't walled by Non-Assault Vest Dialga, Solgaleo, and Magearna so it can carry on its sweep.

Offensive Regenerator Garchomp is a terrifying beast to switch into. Edgequake coverage coming off of a Life Orb boosted 130 Attack hits hard and has very few reliable answers. If that was not enough, Regenerator allows Garchomp to switch in multiple times per match and even trade hits in the process, allowing it to wear down checks or recover from mispredictions. If that was not enough, it can even clean up weakened teams thanks to Scale Shot! How will you help Garchomp rip through the opposing team?
