- Now Fully Expressed -

The main aim of this Pet Mod is to make every NFE at least as viable as their final evolutions, altering typing, ability, stats and/or moves. The reason is that some NFE have unique threats, that don’t have their full expression in their final evolution. This Pet Mod is created to find those threats and valorize them, to make every “incomplete” Pokémon different from its evolution and complete. So, for example, Dragonair can become a fast special sweeper, Whirlipede can become a physical wall and Fletchinder can become a special abuser of Gale Wings.

- Questions:

To understand how to make your submission and/or if your submission is good, just ask yourself these questions.
  • How is the Pokémon different from its final evolution?
  • What could make it viable?
  1. Has it to gain any new moves?
  2. Has it to gain a new typing?
  3. Has it to get a new ability?
  • Does it respect the concept of the evolutionary line?
  1. Is it too similar to its final evolution’s concept or role?
  • Is it viable?
  1. Would I use it in a team?
  2. What would its role be?
  3. What are the best teammates for it?
- Format:
  • Name: Write here the name of the Pokémon;
  • Typing: If the final form has a secondary type and the base form doesn’t or has a different secondary type, this Pokémon can get a secondary type (for example, Roselia and Pupitar can get a secondary type, Skiploom cannot);
  • Ability: You can change the ability of the Pokemon, but the base form will have tat ability too. If the Pokemon has 2 abilities+a hidden ability, you can replace one of them with a new one; if the Pokemon has a regular ability and a hidden ability, you can add a regular ability; if the Pokemon has only a regular ability, you can only replace this one.
  • New stats: The BST cannot surpass the first smaller multiple of 50 before the BST of the final form (e.g. if the final form has a 535 BST, the maximum BST for the middle form is 500, if the final form has 495, the middle form must have 450 or less, if the final form has 600, the middle form must have 550 or less);
  • New moves: The Pokémon can get a maximum of four new moves that have to be justified both flavor- and competitive-wise; the final evolution and the base form won't get these moves as they'll be considered event moves for Pokémons that cannot evolve (like AZ's Floette);
  • Flavour: Justify your changes and explain why your submission fits the Pokémon concept;
  • Role description: Describe the new role that the Pokémon will cover in the meta and try to predict its tier.

Name: Ivysaur
Typing: Grass/Poison
Ability: Overgrow/Sweet Veil/Chlorophyll
New Stats: 70/62/73/110/90/95 (500)
New Moves: Weather Ball
Flavor: Ivysaur's whole theme revolves around the sun, to be honest. That said, it already gets just about every move that is sun-related (read: Solar Beam and... uhhh...), so I just slapped Weather Ball onto it as well. Sweet Veil is due to its pokedex talking of "a sweet aroma" from its bud.
Role Description: Considering all Venusaur is used as Mega, Ivysaur here is going to take up the old role Venusaur fills: An amazing Chlorophyll sweeper. Having even better SpA and Speed than regular Venusaur, along with respectable bulk due to Eviolite, makes it easy for Ivysaur to set up a Growth and start sweeping. Needs some Sun support, though.

Name: Grovyle
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Adaptability/Unburden
New Stats: 60/110/45/80/65/140 (500)
New Moves: Taunt, Knock Off, Extreme Speed
Flavor: I think it's safe to say that Adaptability is yet another ability that makes sense on most mons. Taunt and Knock Off are generic moves for mons that aren't completely peaceful and stuff, and Extreme Speed... Uhhh, aside from competitive reasons... It's agile?
Role Description: How do you even make it usable when Talonflame and M-Pinsir are flying (heh) everywhere? Like, agh. Here's me trying to give it some usability - Adaptability is basically something that turns every mon with offensive presence into a nuke, and Grovyle here takes the spot for the fastest Adaptability user. An SD set, combined with Extreme Speed, Leaf Blade and Knock Off/Low Kick lets you clean up late-game fairly well... Provided you get a chance to set-up, that is.

Name: Grotle
Typing: Grass/Rock
Ability: Overgrow/Sap Sipper/Shell Armor
New Stats: 95/104/125/55/90/31 (500)
New Moves: Rock Slide, Earthquake, Slack Off
Flavor: Torterra is part-Ground, so Rock-type seems a bit of a natural progression. Rock Slide is for STAB, Earthquake is learned by almost all Rock-types, and Slack Off is for reliable recovery, and doesn't clash with flavor either.
Role Description: With Eviolite, this thing is bulker than Cradily on both sides, which is a good thing. And by bulky I mean Talonflame can barely dent it. Even Mega Medicham can't 1HKO it with High Jump Kick. Along with Leech Seed and Slack Off, you can now comfortably stall out a rather large proportion of the meta, while dealing back decent damage due to the 104 Atk and a nice STAB combo. Sap Sipper even lets you boost your Atk further.

Name: Servine
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Competitive/Contrary
New Stats: 60/85/65/95/65/130 (500)
New Moves: Dragon Pulse, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam
Flavor: Since the whole line is based on royalty, Competitive seems to be a fit - imagine it to be a rivalry with other kingdoms. Dragon Pulse is just because Serperior gets it, Shadow Ball comes from its pokedex entry where it hides in shadow before striking, and Dazzling Gleam seems fitting for a king/queen/w/e.
Role Description: It's just a faster, stronger Serperior with more options. Competitive works if you don't want to spend a turn Leaf Storming first, but really, Contrary is why most people would use this mon. Leaf Storm a few times, start raining certain death upon just about everything. Talonflame still demolishes it.

im fragile, but not that fragile
is a Tiering Contributor
reserves my submisssions for when i have time WIP

Name: Servine
Typing:

Ability:
Overgrow / Intimidate / Contrary
New stats: 80/75/50/100/85/90 BST: 480
New moves: U-Turn, Dragon Pulse, Spore
Flavour: Intimidate fits because it gets Glare, and the description of Glare is: "Intimidates and frightens the foe into Paralysis". Dragon Pulse because Serperior gets it, and it's kinf of a dragon, U-Turn because it can move fast, and Spore because it's a grass type.
Role description: I think it will run a sort of bulky pivot type set with Eviolite, sort of like defensive Lando-T in OU. It could also run a Coil sweeper set or a bulkier version of Serperior.

Name: Grovyle
Typing:

Ability: Overgrow/Hustle/Limber
New Stats: 50/110/45/60/65/130 BST:460
New Moves: Extremespeed
Flavour: Grovyle is said to be very fast in almost every dex entry, so Hustle and Extremespeed both make sense.
Role Descrpition: Grovyle would be a very good Swords Dance sweeper, with Hustle boosting his contact moves such as Leaf Blade and Extremespeed. Limber could also be used if you are paranoid of Klefki and such.

Hmm, this seems fun. I'll add my two bits to this.

Name: Ivysaur
Typing: Grass/Poison
Abilities: Overgrow/Aroma Veil/Chlorophyll
New stats: 80/60/80/115/95/70 (500 BST)
New moves: Stun Spore
Flavor: Aroma Veil is justified because of Ivysaur's whole "sweet aroma from its bud" thing, and Stun Spore I thought would be plausible because the spores could smell nice, too, causing the other 'mon to (metaphorically) stop and smell the roses.
Role description: It's a nice and strong Chlorophyll user. Its other notable Ability, Aroma Veil, could probably see use too on non-weather teams. Base 70 is fast enough under sun if you've got investment (why wouldn't you?). 115 base Special Attack is pretty great, as well.

I'll edit in more later.

Name
: Ivysaur
Typing: Grass/Poison
Ability: Overgrow/Chlorophyll/Flower Veil
New Stats: 70/65/80/100/90/95 (500)
New Moves: Weather Ball, Aromatherapy, Earth Power, Petal Blizzard
Flavor: Flower Veil makes sense because of the flowering bud on its back- its aroma is the basis for Aromatherapy.
Role Description: Finally a Grass type to actually make use of the effects of Flower Veil- immune to status AND prevents lowering of stats. While Chlorophyll is still a very good role as a Sun sweeper, Flower Veil can have a niche that protects it from status while supporting the team with Aromatherapy (most importantly Sleep). The protection from stat drops can also be useful for a setup sweeper role if you like to use Growth. Earth Power for Ground coverage. Petal Blizzard for flavour is an option if you don't like the accuracy of Power Whip on physical movesets. Weather Ball gives it Fire coverage in Sun sweeping sets. Faster then current Venusaur with the same Special Attack, this Ivysaur 'shines' under Chlorophyll conditions (and he's lighter so should be faster).

Name: Bayleef
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Leaf Guard/Aroma Veil
New Stats: 90/60/96/70/102/82
New Moves: Recover, Wish, Baton Pass, Calm Mind
Flavor: Bayleef's leaves is said to stimulate recovery so I gave it more healing moves. Aroma Veil because Bayleef's scent from its leaves is repeatedly mentioned in the Dex entries. Calm Mind because the leaves on its neck have soothing properties.
Role Description: Ultra-cleric with immunity to Taunt and Encore, among other things. Finally has proper recovery, Wish pass and can finally boost with Calm Mind. Can also easily pass the boost along thanks to Aroma Veil's protection against Taunt. Has slightly more HP and Speed than Meganium and is more Special Defense-orientated.

Name: Grovyle
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Unburden/Tough Claws
New Stats: 62/106/55/85/75/117 (500)
New Moves: Fake Out, Knock Off, Extreme Speed, U-turn
Flavor: A bit of a stretch but a) it has claws and b) I'm actually referring to the leaves on its arms which it uses to slash- I imagine it is like a sturdy kind of leaf when it uses Leaf Blade, kind of like a palm tree leaf. Basically this role is to really differentiate it from Sceptile and aim to be more physical so it can use its once-signature move Leaf Blade. Speed is a key trait of Grovyle in the dex so I gave it Extremespeed priority and U-turn references how it leaps from branch to branch and is hard to catch in dense jungles.
Role Description: Fast physical sweeper with more physical stats to make use of Leaf Blade compared to the special focus of Sceptile's stats. Tough Claws gives a bit more oomph to contact moves which include Acrobatics, Drain Punch, Low Kick and Thunderpunch. Can be a nice physical cleaner with the new moves, especially with FakeSpeed and U-turn is a great pivoting move for a fast Pokemon while Knock Off is always nice utility. Fast, physically-orientated stats yet frail on the defensive side.

Name: Grotle
Typing: Grass/Rock
Ability: Overgrow/Shell Armor/Rock Head
New Stats: 90/105/110/55/90/50 (500)
New Moves: Head Smash, Earthquake, Wood Hammer, Rock Polish
Flavor: Grotle has a hard soil shell and soil is formed from the weathering of rocks- so it going from Rock -> Ground type as a Torterra is not too farfetched.
Role Description: Its new typing makes in neutral to both of Talonflame's STABs and it can fire back with a recoil-less Head Smash! Main niche is to fire off those high-powered Wood Hammer, Head Smash and even Double Edge (?). Rock Polish gives it a way to boost Speed while Earthquake makes for nice coverage, even if it doesn't have STAB. Defenses surpass Torterra but its Attack, HP, Sp Attack and Speed are lower- the lower Attack is compensated by the high powered STABs. Appreciates Sandstorm support for extra Special Defense.

Name: Servine
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Contrary/Prankster
New Stats: 66/80/94/65/90/105 (500)
New Moves: Power Whip, Dragon Rush, Sucker Punch, Baton Pass
Flavor: Power Whip because the Dex refers to it using whip-like movements. Sucker Punch because it hides among leaves and can use a surprise attack with swift movements. Because of the whole camouflage aspect of its design, Prankster seems plausible because it deceives enemies using camouflage in the foliage and with swift, confusing movements.
Role Description: It need an ability that has a chance of not being too overshadowed by Contrary and Prankster just might give Servine a different option and niche. It has access to great set-up moves like Coil, Calm Mind and Swords Dance which it can use with Prankster. Baton Pass allows it to pass the boosts to a teammate. Prankster also helps with support moves like screens, SubSeed and Glare. Prankster Coil can also be used with Power Whip/Dragon Rush to boost accuracy and Sucker Punch for increased power. Stats are more physically-orientated to make use of Coil and except for Attack, are under Serperior's current stats- Eviolite should give it enough bulk to boost.

Name: Quilladin
Typing: Grass/Fighting
Ability: Overgrow/Bulletproof/Iron Barbs
New Stats: 75/104/125/56/80/60 (500)
New Moves: Revenge, Destiny Bond, Close Combat, Knock Off
Flavor: Iron Barbs because of its spiky armour. I'm taking a page form Qwilfish's movepool and giving it Revenge and Destiny Bond as they are moves related to the taking-you-down-with me nature of the spikes. Close Combat for better STAB and the Dex mentioned how Quilladin spar with another.
Role Description: Its new typing screams 'Hit me with Brave Bird Talonflame!' so to punish the Gale Wings abusing bird, an Iron Barbs+Rocky Helmet combination means Talonflame will have to think twice before blindly dishing out a Brave Bird- as that already causes recoil in itself. It also punishes priority and Knock Off abusers. It now has a more reliable Fighting STAB although Drain Punch is still useful since it will be taking lots of damage. Knock Off adds more utility to hazard sets. Slightly slower and lower attack than Chesnaught but defenses are better.

i need a submission for Bayleef to end the voting phase

Name: Bayleef
Typing: Grass
Ability: Overgrow/Natural Cure/Leaf Guard
New Stats: 100/80/90/60/120/50
New Moves: Sleep Powder, Curse, Power Whip, Rock Slide
Flavour: Bayleef's FR Pokédex entry: "A spicy aroma emanates from around its neck. The aroma acts as a stimulant to restore health.", therefore Natural Cure; It can get Curse because Bulbasaur can as well and Rock Slide because it's a dinosaur-like pokemon and Grovyle gets it as well; Sleep Powder and Power Whip are typical Grass-type moves.
Role description: Thanks to its high special bulkiness it can now work as a setup sweeper in a TR team and the new ability can help it to heal its burns. It is also resistant to Scalds, so it can work well as a physical attacker after one or two Curses.

The Submission Phase will stay opened until tomorrow morning, then i will open the Voting Phase

New Moves:Head Smash, Megahorn, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch (it has Drain Punch and Dual Chop, so why not go all the way?)
Flavour:A Pokemon that is said to have an extremely tough shell that not only deflects attacks, but also insulates it from extreme temperatures.
Role description:While Chesnaught functions as a physical wall, Quilladin is more of a tank. Think Azumarill except with a completely different movepool. Bulletproof allows it to come in on ballistic attacks from Clawitzer and scarf Delphox, among others, while Heatproof covers up one of its most painful weaknesses. Although, this Pokemon does get worn down easily, as throughout the match it'll likely take more neutral hits than it'd be comfortable with. This Pokemon can also function as a Choice Band wallbreaker, as not many Pokemon like taking a STAB Wood Hammer or Head Smash. I predict this Pokemon to be RU.

Flavour:This Pokemon sometimes sprays its intense aroma at other Pokemon to make them lose their senses temporarily. Don't get on its bad side!
Role description:A more annoying version of Meganium with Spore and Stun Spore, and enhanced SpD, this thing can really spread status with its great mixed bulk, and Aroma Veil helps you keep it in longer.

Yeah, technically the Pet Mod was dead, I didn't have time to admin it, but thanks a lot for reviving it! I'm sorry, but I still don't have time for this. Do you want to take the control of it?
