UU Necrozma

Necrozma @ Lum Berry
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Photon Geyser
- X-Scissor
- Heat Wave

The Jet Black Prism reigns its blinding light over the UU metagame! Necrozma has been surging as a potent sweeper with its insane versatility, operating as a special sweeper with Meteor Beam, as a bulky sweeper with Calm Mind + Moonlight, or with its notorious mixed Dragon Dance set. The mixed Dragon Dance set utilizes its powerful Photon Geyser to wipe out common Pokemon like Amoonguss, Hippowdon, and Chansey while having Heat Wave to cover physically bulky Steel-types like Skarmory, Scizor, and Cobalion. X-Scissor rounds out Necrozma's coverage by slicing up Psychic-resistant foes like Zarude, Hydreigon, and Slowking. A Lum Berry allows Necrozma to absorb a variety of status moves like Toxic from Hippowdon and Chansey and Stun Spore from Amoonguss, allowing it to set up a second Dragon Dance or fire off a powerful attack. Necrozma best shines on hyper offense teams that can beat down the enemy team enough to prime Necrozma for a sweep. Leads like Scolipede and Krookodile provide essential entry hazard support to wear down bulky Pokemon like Hippowdon, Slowking, and Jirachi in range of Necrozma's attacks. Secondary sweepers like Substitute + Dragon Dance Gyarados, Nasty Plot Thundurus-T, Dragon Dance Salamence, and Swords Dance Cobalion work with Necrozma to overwhelm common defensive teams. The former two take advantage of Celesteela and Slowking for Necrozma while the latter two can keep Zarude and Mandibuzz in fear of switching in to avoid becoming setup bait.

The Jet Black Prism reigns its blinding light over the UU metagame! Necrozma has been surging as a potent sweeper with its mixed Dragon Dance set, I would quite like to bring up when you talk about its surge its deadly set versatility that makes it super unpredictable with checks that aren't shared between them, can lead in by commenting on how its a potent threat because of its versatility and then say that this spotlight is focusing on this set which does x,y,z as you do using its powerful Photon Geyser to wipe out common Pokemon like Amoonguss, Hippowdon, and Chansey while having Heat Wave to cover physically bulky Steel-types like Skarmory, Scizor, and Cobalion. X-Scissor rounds out Necrozma's coverage, being able to slice up Psychic-resistant foes like Zarude, Hydreigon, and Slowking. A Lum Berry allows Necrozma to absorb a variety of status moves like Toxic from Hippowdon and Chansey and Stun Spore from Amoonguss, allowing it to set up a second Dragon Dance or fire off a powerful attack. Leads like Scolipede and Krookodile provide essential entry hazard support to wear down bulky Pokemon like Hippowdon, Slowking, and Jirachi in range of Necrozma's attacks. Secondary sweepers like Dragon Dance + Taunt Gyarados, unecessary to mention taunt probably since heat wave necro Nasty Plot Thundurus-T, Dragon Dance Salamence, and Swords Dance Cobalion work with Necrozma to overwhelm common defensive teams. The former two take advantage of Celesteela and Slowking for Necrozma while the latter two can keep Zarude and Mandibuzz in fear of switching in to avoid becoming setup bait.
