Tournament Specific Rules
  • All matches are to be played on Pokémon Showdown! under the National Dex Monotype format.
  • Changing teams between matches is allowed in the case of best of 3 players.
  • Any match not specified as a best of 3 is a best of 1.
  • REPLAYS ARE REQUIRED
  • Any tier changes that occur during a round will not be in effect until the following round
  • I expect you to have read the following rules and standard clauses.

All of the following clauses apply:
  • Sleep Clause: If a player has already put an opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move and that Pokémon is still sleeping due to that sleep inducing move, the player cannot put another opposing Pokémon to sleep using a sleep inducing move.
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same species of Pokémon on their team, based on the National Pokedex Number. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on their team.
  • Evasion Clause: Players cannot use Double Team or Minimize in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, they lose.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokémon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
  • Same Type Clause: Pokémon in a team must share a type

National Dex Monotype - Sabella vs TJ - damn 2 smogon trophy winners we really are in illustrious company with this fantastic tour but idk tj went undefeated in mono wc maybe he isnt awful like i first thought

National Dex Monotype - Cielau vs Decem - it is very hard to bold against the frenchies but decem is going to bring some awful team that has idk like scarf venusaur or some dogshit that has just the freest fucking mu
National Dex Monotype Bo3 -Riku Sakuraba vs Maskun - yo this mu is kinda fire, both known for haxing. idt riku has won money in this tier though unlike big maskun
National Dex Monothreat - K3ppr vs Gray - gray has for sure never played threat before and even if he did i wouldnt bold him

National Dex Monotype - Alpha Rabbit vs Yami - rabbit caused some fucking drama with his scheduling in world cup i wouldnt be surprised if it happened here too, really dont know who to bold though
National Dex Monotype Bo3 - Trichotomy vs maroon - any other tier this is pretty easy to pick but maroon is somehow really good at natdex, also seeing trich whinge about mu after losing is always fun
