Whilst the National Dex Council gets up its own resources, this thread can be used for other users to share their own opinions on the metagame. Explanations for the placements are not necessary, but would be greatly welcome moving into the new generation.

my current take on the meta

I think Ting-Lu is really overated, i find the mon to be extremely passive ingame, and I don't think it feat the rather offensive metagame we have rn. I also think Chi-Yu is lowkey broken, although it lacks speed to be as threatening as Iron Bundle is. People have a tendancy to sleep on Kommo-O, i'm convinced the mon is good in this meta, there isn't that much fairy type played bar koko and lele, and sometimes diancie. I don't think lando is worth A-rank rn, there's so much ground types that outclass it that it becomes really cringe for it to actually shine. Snow is something that should be more explored, I didn't see much usage of it but i'm fairly convinced it can do good, especially with how Snow has been reworked. It received really good tools such as Baxcalibur or even Iron Bundle, to an extend.
Also I don't get why Maushold is on the VR, mon without king's rock sucks, so as stuff like Skeledirge or Quaquaval, although they deserve more explorations, i'll admit. TR can be somewhat good i guess, although very inconsistent.
