Pretty self explanatory, this core has no switchins to this, technically AV Torn-T can live if rocks aren't up but Hurricane doesn't even KO Yard after rocks if you hit it and none of your other moves do anything to it, Lando and Ferro just die.

:bw/Kyurem:
Kyurem @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 176 Atk / 116 Def / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Substitute

This set isn't just a gimmick. Rather than using Kyurem as a choiced or subroost wallbreaker, this set leverages Kyurem's bulk and ability to become an effective wincon. The given ev spread allows Kyurem to outspeed Annihilape and other base 90s, as well as ensuring your subs aren't broken by Clodsire's earthquake.

In terms of how it fairs against the BTC core, it is able to take hits from every single one of them. Tornadus is the least threatening, and drops to any decent roll from icicle spear, while taking damage that is easily roosted off in return. Ferrothorn has its gyro ball pp effectively stalled with substitute, while giving Kyurem an immunity to leech seed stalling. Kyurem's tera type also allows it to handle all three foes extremely well with very little counterplay from the opposing core. This isn't necessary, however, as setting up a few DD's, protecting Kyurem from leech seed and intimidate with substitute, and carefully positioning Kyurem as it comes in as to not allow Landorus to tera gives it a great matchup against that core.

Do you like the pic I made for this post? :3

You'll always be faster if sun is up, due to the fact that Char-Y cannot mega evolve to set up sun, and also switch out in the same turn, so it dies to power gem. Only situation you'll be slower is if Walking Wake leads against Nihilego, or they hard-switch into Wake.

Is this slate going to be finished despite the Walking Wake ban?
Yes, tiering changes won't effekt this cycle, but will be applied in the next one.

Voting is up! Ends Sunday!

Walking Wake with a Speed-boosting EV spread outpaces this entire core and spams Dragon Pulse with Tera Dragon.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Tera Type: Grass
Calm Nature
- Magma Storm
- Tera Blast
- Toxic
- Protect

This Heatran set is pretty cool. It makes use of the extremely well balanced type changing mechanic and an epic move that changes type when it Terastallizes.

You can consistently stall down Yard and the sun turns in the process. If they switch out of Yard turn 1 then protect against WW to scout either dragon or water move. Tera if it's locked into a water move, and try to hit a magma storm and whittle it down. You can easily stall out sun turns against Walt Whitman or against Yard if it's trapped. This makes tusk easier to deal with, which dies to Terastallization Blast always. It also weakens Walter White, whose draco meteors can threaten you easily if you have turned grass already. Overall, this set requires some prediction and careful stalling of sun turns, but it's probably the most consistent mon at beating this wretched core other than Mega Altaria, who is unranked.
man this heatran pokemon seems pretty good

here's something definitely not inspired by uppababy's post
:sv/tapu-koko:
Tapu Koko @ Life Orb
Modest Nature
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 44 HP / 252 SpA / 212 Spe
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- Protect

4th move can be literally anything. protect to scout for tera before unloading a big nuke. non speed boosting wake L

edit: here are the calcs
it OHKOs all 3 even without terrain
:sm/nihilego:
Nihilego @ Assault Vest :assault vest:
Ability: Beast Boost
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 80 HP / 72 SpA / 124 SpD / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Power Gem
- Grass Knot
- idk

SpAtk EVs to OHKO Great Tusk w/ Grass Knot.
Speed EVs designed to get Speed Boost on KO.
Speed EVs designed to just outspeed Char-Y.
Rest of EVs dumped to SpDef and HP to handle Walking Wake, while not over-investing and getting SpDef boost on KO.

:nihilego: > :charizard-mega-y:
:nihilego: > :great tusk: (You don't care if they Tera Water)
You'll always be faster if sun is up, due to the fact that Char-Y cannot mega evolve to set up sun, and also switch out in the same turn, so it dies to power gem. Only situation you'll be slower is if Walking Wake leads against Nihilego, or they hard-switch into Wake.

:walking wake: > :nihilego: (Sun + Tera)

:walking wake: > :nihilego: (Sun + No Tera)

:walking wake: > :nihilego: (No Sun + Tera)

:walking wake: > :nihilego: (No Sun + No Tera)

:nihilego: > :walking wake:

this core sucks can't even beat nihilego lol
:sm/altaria-mega:
