For the past month, Retro-OMs have been a group of permaladder OM formats that have proven to be notoriously enjoyed by players in the past. They've been formats perceived as fun and surprisingly competitive to the Pokemon Showdown playerbase. From this point, one more Retro-OM permaladder will be introduced.

Today I bring to you:
Generation 7 Mix and Mega - This is a tiered USUM format where you're enabled to use nearly any Mega Stone (and the Red and Blue Orbs) to transform your Pokemon. Your Pokemon will receive the ability, any additional stat boosts, and any type change a Pokemon who naturally mega evolves would receive from their native Mega Stone.

For example:

Pinsir has a native Mega Evolution accessed through Pinsirite. It gains 30 Attack, 20 Defense, 10 Special Attack, 20 Special Defense, and 20 Speed from Mega Evolution. Pinsir also gains the ability Aerilate and a Flying-type. You can give your Pinsirite to another Pokemon and that Pokemon will receive all the same bonuses Pinsir naturally gets from Mega Evolution. If the Pokemon gaining a type has a secondary typing, that typing will be replaced.

In addition to Generation 7 Mix and Mega, we have two more ladders. These ladders will start off and likely run off as temporary. They have been other strong and popular OM ideas that were shaped up by the Other Metas community at the time, but to a lesser extent. These formats will soon be ran as tournaments in OM Classic II so stay tuned!

The first set of temporary ladders include:
Generation 6 Almost Any Ability - A tiered ORAS format giving Pokemon access to almost any ability.
Generation 7 STABmons - A tiered USUM format giving Pokemon access to nearly any move that matches their type.

Both of their links are available on their title for more information and a banlist. These two ladders will last at least until the end of OM Classic, but if either of them have proven to remain successful throughout the tournament, they will stay for a longer duration.

Just gonna throw this here for everyone who wants to try SM STABmons. Seems really bonkers.
