Pet Mod More Balanced Hackmons v4

Will edit over time, sheet is also updated with last slates mons
Name: V-create (readjust)
Accuracy: unchanged
Power: 120 -> 150
Category: unchanged
PP: unchanged
Effect: Super effective multiplier 1.5x -> 1.2x
Z-Effect (if a Status move): unchanged
Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Pokémon With This Move (optional): unchanged
Justification: Last slate's numbers were made with a potential PDon nerf and unrestrict in mind, so V-create was overnerfed. A readjustment in base power means PDon is not completely screwed on its main STAB, as 150 BP is enough to OHKO threats like MMX. This is why 150 + 1.2x was chosen over 140 + 1.3x

Name: Shell Smash (resubmit)
Accuracy: -
Power: -
Z-Effect: Unchanged
Category: Unchanged
PP: Unchanged
Effect: No longer provides +2 Spe.
Priority: Unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Unchanged
Type: Unchanged
Justification: Shell Smash before ban is pretty much the best boosting move, providing the most stat changes for offenses and speed. This change, by removing the speed, makes it a very specific boosting option for certain mixed attackers as otherwise its outclassed by Swords Dance and Tail Glow. The removed speed also increases the risk of the defenses drop, as the Pokemon is now more vulnerable to retaliation.

Name: Moongeist Beam + Sunsteel Strike + Photon Geyser
Accuracy: Unchanged
Power: 100 -> 90
Z-Power: Unchanged (we could do 180 -> 175 but Thousand Arrows has 180 (and Land's Wrath has 185) so who cares)
Z-Power: Unchanged for signature Z-moves as well
Category: Unchanged
PP: Unchanged
Effect: Unchanged
Priority: Unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Unchanged
Type: Unchanged
Justification: Moldy moves are extremely metagame defining, as they dictate what FurScales users are good, since a good Scales user pretty much has to resist Moongeist while FC has to resist Sunsteel. These nerfs also provide a nerf to Zacian-C, and an alternate angle to nerf stuff like Gengar-Mega instead of nerfing Astral Barrage. Photon Geyser didn't really need to be nerfed but consistency

Name:
Accuracy: unchanged
Power: unchanged
Category:
PP: unchanged
Effect:
Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Justification:
Name: Neutralizing Gas (Resubmit)
Effect: New effect: Opposing Pokemon's moves and their effects ignore their own ability.
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: Does not matter
Justification: Neutralizing Gas needs a rework. This change makes it a situationally powerful ability on defense. It can suppress the power boost from abilities like Adaptability, Tough Claws, Libero, Gorilla Tactics, Sheer Force. Stronger still is suppressing -ate abilities, and it can also cripple Magic Guard Pokemon with recoil damage. Note that it cannot suppress the damage boost from Desolate Land and Primordial Sea as the power boost comes from the weather. The drawback here is that it does not provide as much of a defensive buff as FurScales.

Name: Sword of Ruin, Beads of Ruin (Resubmit)
Effect: Unchanged, but 0.75 Def/SpD -> 0.8 Def/SpD.
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: No, but does not matter I think
Justification: Currently these abilities provide an effective 1.33x boost to all attacks of that category, at the cost of announcing. This makes it the best boosting ability for non-mixed sets if the element of surprise is not necessary. This number adjustment makes them effectively 1.25x boosts, which is lower than most boosting abilities, but they still have the unique bonus of boosting every move.

Name: Arena Trap
Effect: Opposing grounded Pokemon that switch-in lose 1/6th of their maximum HP. (Does not affect Flying-type, Levitating, Magic Guard, Air Balloon or Heavy-Duty Boots)
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: No, but does not matter
Justification: Arena Trap being a trapping ability is broken and banned. This change reworks Arena Trap as an effective way to force chip damage onto opposing Pokemon without Magic Guard. 1/6th is chosen as the damage inflicted by 2 layers of Spikes but this value can be easily adjusted.

Name: Neuroforce
Effect: 1.25x -> 1.5x
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: No, but does not matter
Justification: Neuroforce is basically outclassed always. This change makes it an appealing option for mixed sets with a wide super effective coverage that do not want Sheer Force, Magic Guard, or Pure Power. It also buffs Ultranecrozium-Z NDM/NDW
:soul-dew:
Name: Soul Dew
Effect: If held by a Latias/Latios, its Sp. Atk and Sp. Def are 1.5x.
Removable: Unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Unnerfed Soul Dew reintroduces the Latis as strong, viable mons in the meta that (I believe) were not overbearing especially considering the slower speed tier in the meta. The typing is also appreciated as both a Dragon-type to resist moves like FishBeakV-create and a Psychic-type to resist stuff like Lumina Crash. Latias should be a solid defensive presence while Latios will look to be a strong wallbreaker, though it will compete with UNecro with its superior speed tier. Both also have pretty favourable imposter matchups.
:sv/calyrex-shadow:
Name: Calyrex-Shadow
Type: Psychic / Ghost
Stats: 100/85/80/165/100/150 -> 100/85/100/135/100/160 (+20 Def, -30 SpA, +10 Spe)
Justification: 160 speed gives it a relatively unique speed tier, giving it a defined niche as a blazing fast potential revenge killer compared to MGar who is stronger and MMY who is more versatile. 160 speed also means it can run Modest, still outspeed MMY, if the Zac-c outspeed is not necessary. 135 special attack heavily cuts its offensive potential, but retains its revenge-killing potential by OHKOing MGar with unboosted Judgment/Astral. Its defense is buffed to give it some more survivability, as retaining 680 BST isn't that bad.

:sv/calyrex-ice:
Name: Calyrex-Ice
Type: Psychic / Ice
Stats: 100/165/150/85/130/50 -> 100/175/140/65/140/60 (+10 Atk, -10 Def, -20 SpA, +10 SpD, +10 Spe)
Justification: Wanted to adjust Caly-I since Caly-S is adjusted, though their stats aren't actually counterparts to each other so this might be treated as a different sub (but also means I have more freedom with stats). 175 Atk lets it always kill Zyg-C from full with Adamant GLance, 60 Speed means at +2 neutral it outspeeds Zac-C, 140 SpD allows it to always live two MMY LoR, Def is dropped to match SpD to try to help not overtuning it, and it doesn't miss out on major benchmarks.

:sv/mewtwo-mega-y:
Name: Mewtwo-Mega-Y
Type: Psychic
Stats: 106/150/70/194/120/140 -> 106/140/70/184/120/140 (-10 Atk, -10 SpA)
Justification: MMY benefits a lot from new toys, and was just pretty overwhelming in the first place, only held back somewhat by its poor offensive typing and Zacian-C's speed tier. These minor changes are more conservative nerfs to reduce its effectiveness

:sv/mewtwo-mega-x:
Name: Mewtwo-Mega-X
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Stats: 106/190/100/154/100/130 -> 106/180/100/144/100/130 (-10 Atk, -10 SpA)
Justification: Same justification as above, both tweaks make them weaker as mixed breakers, which also opens up more of a niche for Deoxys-A

:sv/latias-mega: :sv/latios-mega: :sv/latias: :sv/latios:
Name: Latias-Mega, Latios-Mega, Latias, Latios
Type: Dragon/Psychic
Stats: 80/100/... -> 100/80/..., 80/130/... -> 100/110/..., 80/80/... -> 100/60, 80/90/... -> 100/70/... (+20 HP, -20 Atk)
Justification: 80 HP makes these things have worse bulk than expected, with notably Mega Latias getting 2HKOed by unchanged PDon V-create and Band MMX Close Combat. They don't (and won't esp with Soul Dew) use their attack stat anyways.

Name: Self-Destruct/Explosion/Misty Explosion
Accuracy: Unchanged
Power: Unchanged
Z-Effect: Unchanged
Category: Unchanged
PP: Unchanged
Effect: Same as base + now halves the target’s Defense (or Special Defense for Misty Explosion) when calculating damage.
Priority: Unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Unchanged
Type: Unchanged
Justification: Surely these won’t be broken here. I’ve heard BH is kinda very fat-centric, so I thought I’d shake that up a bit.

Name: Checkmate
Accuracy: —
Power: —
Z-Effect: User gets +1 Speed.
Category: Status
PP: 5
Effect: If the target is below 1/4 max HP, this move is an OHKO.
Priority: +1
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Authentic, Mirror
Type: Normal
Justification: Sash counterplay. Also idk if berry mons are real but if they were, they won’t be now.
Name: Wandering Spirit
Effect: On switch-in, this Pokemon swaps abilities with the opposing Pokemon.
Permanent: Yes
Ignoreable: N/A
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): unchanged from base
Justification: PILLAGE YES YAY PILLAGE
bh players aren’t afraid of meta-defining mechanics, are they?

Ability: Name: Contrary
Effect: same
Impermanent: yes
Ignoreable: yes
Justification: just to be nerfed by many things: Wandering Spirit of Beaf, Ngas of Chessking and probably a lot of stuff rn.

ITem: Name: Distorsion Orb
Effect: Contrary’s applied to opponent. If it already has, debuffs are still debuffs.
Knockable: No
Fling Power & Effect: Topsy-Turvy, 120 BP
Justification: Just to balance contrary a bit, even if Chessking’s Ngas might work

Sad it isn’t balancable... Don’t vote me si

don't think this is balanced at all, having to run an item to beat contrary is pretty silly and only serves to show that contrary should not be unbanned in its current state

Name: Purging Light
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 70
Category: Special
PP: 10
Effect: Double damage on poisoned targets. Cures poison.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same as Wake-Up Slap minus contact
Type: Fairy
Justification: Anti-Poison Heal.

Name: Gigaton Hammer
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 160 -> 130
Category: Physical
PP: 5
Effect: Same as before.
Priority: 0
Flags: unchanged
Type: Steel
Justification: Still very strong as a Steel STAB for Zac-C, just not quite as much so.

Name: Infestation
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 20 -> 40
Category: Special
PP: 15
Effect: Deals 1/8th damage per turn to an afflicted target, even once the user switches out. Fairy and Fighting-types take double damage.
Priority: 0
Flags: unchanged
Type: Bug
Justification: Salt Cure needs a friend to bully other types.

Name: Earth Eater
Effect: Same as before. Absorbs all layers of Spikes on switch-in and restores 25% HP (regardless of how many layers were absorbed).
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: Yes
Justification: Gives it a useful additional effect.

Name: Vessel of Ruin / Sword of Ruin / Tablets of Ruin / Beads of Ruin
Effect: Intimidate clones for their respective stats.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: Yes
Justification: Makes Sword / Beads no longer the clear best damage-amp Abilities. Vessel and Tablets are collateral but I don't think anyone would run them over FurScales anyways.

Name: Exhaust Orb
Effect: Powers up attacking moves by 30%. Holder's attacking moves cost 1 additional PP.
Removable: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: Same as Life Orb
Justification: Life Orb sidegrade that preserves HP at the cost of PP (and also doesn't announce itself).

Name: Ability Jammer
Effect: Disables the holder's Ability.
Removable: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: Same as Ability Shield
Justification: For Tricking.

Name: Brute Bonnet
Type: Poison / Dark
Stats: 111 / 127 / 109 / 59 / 109 / 55 (570 BST)
Justification: Fat + good defensive typing but no Poison Heal.

Name: Scream Tail
Type: Ground / Fairy
Stats: 115 / 65 / 99 / 65 / 115 / 111 (570 BST)
Justification: Better (?) typing makes it naturally immune to Zekrom and Miraidon's STABs. Not being weak to Ghost and resisting Dark helps it leverage its nice bulk.

Name: Pikachu
Type: Electric
Stats: 75 / 55 / 40 / 50 / 50 / 90 (360 BST)
Justification: New Imposter user just dropped!

Move Adjustment
Name: Magical Torque
Accuracy: 100
Power: 100
Z-Power: 190
Category: Physical
PP: 10 (max 16)
Effect: 10% chance to confuse
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact
Type: Fairy
Justification: 30% for confusion is way too high. Also, contact being added makes it less spammable.

Item Adjustments
Name: Utility Umbrella
Effect: Functions like Cloud Nine for Sun/Rain/Desolate Land/Primordial Sea weather effects
Removable: Yes
Fling Power/Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Counterplay to Orichalcum Pulse, DesoLand, and PrimSea. Requires the item slot, so you can specialize as a Moldy breaker targetting mons with immunities from weather/ability, but you sacrifice Band or LOrb to do so.

Name: Heavy Duty Boots
Effect: Same as before with added detail that the user is not considered grounded for Terrains
Removable: Yes
Fling Power/Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Slight Rising Voltage protection for otherwise grounded mons, with the caveat that you don't benefit from other Terrains yourself anymore.

Ability: Dark Aura / Fairy Aura
Effect:
Dark Aura: While this Pokemon is active, a Dark move used by any Pokemon has 1.33x power. Causes Psychic-type damaging moves to fail if used. Overwritten by Dark Aura, Aura Break, Desolate Land, and Primordial Sea.
Fairy Aura: While this Pokemon is active, a Fairy move used by any Pokemon has 1.33x power. Causes Dragon-type damaging moves to fail if used. Overwritten by Dark Aura, Aura Break, Desolate Land, and Primordial Sea.
Description: haha fuck you mewtwo and random dragons ig
Item: Christmas Tree
Effect: Grass and Ice moves have x1.3 power. Present is always 120 BP.
Knockable?: Yes
Fling BP: 100
Description: merry christmas everyone.
:ss/ampharos-mega:
Pokemon: Mega Ampharos
Type:

Stats: 90 / 105 / 115 / 155 / 130 / 45
(Base: 90 / 85 / 85 / 115 / 90 / 65)
Ability: Pure Power

Description: banned abil funnies. Stoneless Mega seems cool for Zacian, Yveltal, absorbing Rends in general. Stone Mega has Pure Power. Offensive sets are held back by low speed, but it lets defensive sets underspeed other walls which is pretty cool.

i just miss subbing to jolte thats all...

Ability Spam Part 2:
Ability
Name
: Liquid Ooze
Effect: This Pokemon damages those draining HP from it twice as much as they would heal. Heals 1/16 hp if user is a poison type.
Permanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): Yes
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): Yes
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): Same + :Glimmora:
Justification: Triage mons can suck my dick. Its a poison heal sidegrade for whenever you really hate mons with healing moves. Also passive leftovers for poison types I guess.

Ability
Name
: Unimpressed
Effect: STAB moves used against this Pokémon have their STAB boost reduced to x1.25.
Permanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): Yes
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): Yes
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): Same as in Jolte.
Justification: Wtf Jolte ability Resub? Not as horrendously strong as it once was in Jolte, but still very useful for certain defensive mons, especially to take down Adaptability mons.

Ability
Name
: Comedian
Effect: This Pokémon is immune to Fairy-type moves. When hit by a Fairy-type move, it raises its Attack and its adjacent allies' Attack by 1 stage each.
Permanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): Yes
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): Yes
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): :Mightyena:, :Mr. Rime:, :Mr Mime:.
Justification: :Jokerfication:. Subbing M4A ability as well, this time an ability which provides the only fairy immunity in the game.. Especially good on dragon types who are looking to sweep while not fearing fairy type moves.

Ability
Name
: Recollector
Effect: On switch-in, this Pokémon's regains the non-berry item it started the battle with. Fails if the Pokémon is already holding something else.
Permanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): Yes
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): Yes
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): :Delibird:
Justification: Based on one of the most fun M4A abilities of all time. Possible applications of this include rechargable eject packs if real, or regular stuff like rechargable Red Cards and Power Herbs. If you use this with Leppa Berries I will skin you alive.

Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :dusknoir:
Justification: i love rage fist but its clearly broken so heres the solution.

Name: Dire Claw
Accuracy: 100
Power: 90
Category: Physical
PP: unchanged
Effect: 40% to inflict poison or paralysis
Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :toxicroak:
Justification: to reduce how annoying this move is. slight bp boost to compensate.

Name: Spin Out
Accuracy: 100

Category: Physical
PP: 20
Effect: User switches out.
Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :iron-treads::magnezone::gogoat:
Justification: worst steel move in game to maybe top 5 steel move in game.

Name: Gulp Missile
Effect: When hit after Surf/Dive, attacker takes 1/4 max HP and -1 defenses or -2 Speed.
Impermanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): no
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): no
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): unchanged
Justification: setup for a cram stat boost because water/flying is kind of cool

Name: Shadow Tag
Effect: When this Pokemon is attacked, the attacker gains the Ghost typing.
Impermanent (Can this ability be suppressed/changed?): yes
Ignoreable (Can this ability be ignored from Mold Breaker/Teravolt/Turboblaze?): yes
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): + :sableye:(over stall):marowak-alola:(over cursed body):dusknoir:
Justification: adds some offensive counterplay to mostly special attackers where you can put it on a dark mon and aggressively play with it (since most special attackers have fairy coverage) to pursuit trap most things.

Name: Covert Cloak
Effect: now also blocks Stone Axe and Ceaseless Edge's secondaries
Removable (Can this be removed by Knock Off or Trick?): unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: unchanged
Justification: with covert cloak confirmed not to block these two moves they are poised to be very centralizing (possibly overcentralizing) hazard moves. this reverts the discovery by adding a hard check to these moves so they are more manageable.

Name: Malicious Armor
Effect: When any Pokemon attempts to remove this item, they are inflicted with Torment.
Removable (Can this be removed by Knock Off or Trick?): no
Fling Power & Effect: 100, inflicts Torment
Justification: i liked mail in gen 5 so heres a slightly better mail

slate 3 starts now
Name: Punishment
Power: 80
PP: 20
Effect: Power increases by 20 for each of the target's stat boosts.
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :roaring-moon::brute-bonnet::meowscarada:
Justification: punishment would be cool if it had decent power before boosts and good pp so heres it fixed.

Name: Attack Order
Effect: 100% chance to lower the target's Defense by 1.
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :genesect::scizor::beedrill:
Justification: buffing bug types somewhat.

Name: Psyshield Bash
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 80
Effect: Uses user's SpD stat as Atk in damage calculation.
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :deoxys::cosmoem::uxie:
Justification: make cress not passive anymore.

Name: Axe Kick
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 80
Category: Physical
Effect: Swaps Stealth Rock on both sides of the field.
Pokémon With This Move (optional): + :kleavor:
Justification: just a shitpost
Name: Electromorphosis
Effect: This Pokemon gains the Electric type and the Charge effect when damaged by an attack.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: unchanged
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional):
Justification: idk i think its funny but might go crazy on stuff like bolt strike zac-c or mmy

Name: All-Seeing Eye
Effect: This Pokemon's Psychic-type status moves heal it for 1/4 max HP.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: N/A
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): :claydol::beheeyem::xatu:(over early bird)
Justification: funky pet mod abil that can be used with teleport, magic coat, take heart, trick room, etc. theres a lot of funny psychic status moves.

Name: Guard Dog
Effect: This Pokemon's Attack is raised by 1 stage after it is damaged by a move. Immune to Intimidate and cannot be forced to switch out.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: unchanged
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): :arcanine:(over justified):lycanroc:(over steadfast):granbull:(over rattled):houndoom:(over unnerve)
Justification: kinda niche abil that allows you to constantly get atk boosts.

Name: Seed Sower
Effect: When this Pokemon is damaged by an attacking move, the attacker gains Leech Seed.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: unchanged
Pokémon With This Ability (Optional): :parasect:(over damp):eldegoss:(over effect spore):shiinotic:(over illuminate):breloom:(over effect spore)
Justification: weird thing that allows you to get some health every time you get hit, pretty helpful for switching into things.
:sv/gholdengo:
Name: Gholdengo
Type: Steel / Ghost
Stats: 112 / 80 / 100 / 133 / 91 / 84 | 600
Justification: aegislash but actually GOOD. zacian level physical bulk and just under caly-s special bulk with a speed tier that just underspeeds zyg-c (though youd need earth eater/fc to not get chunked) and a typing that blocks both rapid spin and mortal spin.

:sv/xurkitree:
Name: Xurkitree
Type: Electric / Grass
Stats: 83 / 83 / 71 / 173 / 71 / 89 | 570
Justification: minor speed buff lets it outspeed deo-a if webs are up or it holds a scarf. grass typing gives it a mediocre but somewhat useable second stab in seed flare/leaf storm while giving it more switchin ability vs water types.

:sv/cramorant::sv/cramorant-gulping::sv/cramorant-gorging:
Name: Cramorant
Type: Water / Flying
Stats: 100 / 105 / 85 / 105 / 95 / 60 | 550
Gulping Stats: 100 / 105 / 65 / 85 / 115 / 60 | 550
Gorging Stats: 100 / 85 / 105 / 105 / 75 / 60 | 550
Justification: cram is up. bulk is buffed overall but shifted toward physical to help beat zac-c more often - most notably it always lives things like +1 pdon vcreate and band adapt photon mmx at full health. gulping's special bulk is guaranteed to live up to specs mmy psysurge eforce at full.
gorging does what it usually did while gulping is a weird guy that can lower -1 def and pivot to maybe a pursuiter.

:sv/ho-oh::sv/lugia:
Name: Ho-Oh/Lugia
Ho-Oh Stats: 106 / 140 / 110 / 100 / 134 / 90 | 680
Lugia Stats: 106 / 90 / 140 / 110 / 134 / 100 | 680
Justification: both of these mons are mid in the meta, hooh mostly for being a special wall weak to electric and lugia for just having a bad typing overall. this attempts to spruce them up a bit. hooh gets more physical bulk to comfortably live volt tackles if fc along with a slight power boost, while lugia gets a spa boost to maybe abuse lumina crash + boomburst/owing along with a slight def boost. they both get nerfed spd but both have good enough typing to take the hit.

Ability Adjustment
Ability: Magician
Effect: Self-announces on switchin. The user will ignore items when attacking.
Permanent: No
Ignorable: N/A
Justification: Most applicable on mons that want to ignore Covert Cloak and Assault Vest. Self announces like Mold Breaker to help with counterplay.

Move Adjustment
Move: Grassy Glide
Power: 60 -> 70
Everything Else: Same
Justification: Mario Kart

Will edit over time, sheet is also updated with last slates mons
Name: V-create (readjust)
Accuracy: unchanged
Power: 120 -> 150
Category: unchanged
PP: unchanged
Effect: Super effective multiplier 1.5x -> 1.2x
Z-Effect (if a Status move): unchanged
Priority: unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): unchanged
Type: unchanged
Pokémon With This Move (optional): unchanged
Justification: Slate 1's numbers were made with a potential PDon nerf and unrestrict in mind, so V-create was overnerfed. A readjustment in base power means PDon is not completely screwed on its main STAB, as 150 BP is enough to OHKO threats like MMX. This is why 150 + 1.2x was chosen over 140 + 1.3x

Name: Moongeist Beam + Sunsteel Strike + Photon Geyser (resubmit)
Accuracy: Unchanged
Power: 100 -> 90

Name: Origin Pulse
Accuracy: Unchanged
Power: 110 -> 120
Category: Unchanged
PP: Unchanged
Effect: Unchanged
Priority: Unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Unchanged
Type: Unchanged
Justification: If GLance got matched to Astral then Origin Pulse should get matched with PBlades, also helps distinguish more with Steam Eruption, as its only good rn for PP.

Name: Anchor Shot, Spirit Shackle
Accuracy: Unchanged
Power: Unchanged
Category: Unchanged
PP: Unchanged
Effect: Unchanged
Priority: Unchanged
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): No longer boosted by Sheer Force
Type: Unchanged
Justification: Consistency with Thousand Waves and avoid being blocked by Covert Cloak, which is currently basically outclassing Shed Shell
Name: Neuroforce (Resubmit)
Effect: 1.25x -> 1.5x

Name: Contrary
Effect: If this Pokemon has a stat stage raised it is lowered instead, and vice versa. This works only once each time the Pokémon enters battle.
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: Yes
Justification: Contrary is busted so this applies the Protean/Libero nerf on it. By only boosting once you can no longer endlessly snowball. Offers another alternative to Pure Power by providing a useful +2 setup per switchin while getting to fire off a strong move like Fleur Cannon or Psycho Boost. The drawback is after the first boost the subsequent moves give the usual stat drops, and you also get screwed if you get a stat drop before you use your move, such as from Parting Shot, Moonblast etc.

Name: Color Change
Effect: This Pokemon's type changes to match its first move.
Permanent: No (Could be yes, up for discussion as to whether the type reverts when the ability is supressed)
Ignoreable: No (Up for discussion as to whether (or even possible) Moldy would ignore the type change and target the original type
Justification: Color Change offers a powerful option to change the types of some Pokemon, at the cost of a valuable ability slot. Certain Pokemon like Zygarde-C and Giratina could strongly appreciate the type change while still having high natural bulk.

Name: Curious Medicine
Effect: Also affects foes (resets all stat changes of all Pokémon on the field).
Permanent: No
Ignoreable: No, but does not matter.
Justification: A strong ability that acts as an alternative to PrankHaze as an anti setup option. Comparatively, it has more momentum by not needing to spend a turn and also does not need to run a moveslot on Haze. Prankster should still be viable though because it provides priority glare encore recovery and other uses like dbond and wisp.
:aguav-berry:
Name: Pinch Berries
Effect: From 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP
Removable: Unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Pinch Berries were nerfed which made them from a situationally decent item to pretty much worthless. This is a revert and can see use on some defensive mons to gain a strong 50% hp when they are low, allowing the user to keep up tempo for a while by not recovering.

:expert-belt:
Name: Expert Belt
Effect: From 1.2x to 1.3x
Removable: Unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Expert Belt is a pretty weak item because its inconsistent damage boosts so stuff like Plates, Life Orb, or utility items like Cloak Lefties and Boots are generally preferred. A 1.3x boost makes it on par with Life Orb for super effective moves so it offers a strong alternative to sets that rely on wide coverage options for targets.

:power-herb:
Name: Power Herb
Effect: One-use to Unlimited use
Removable: Unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: Unchanged
Justification: Power Herb is a 0-usage item because after the herb gets consumed you have a dead moveslot. Making it unlimited use makes some moves very interesting options, such as Ice Burn/Freeze Shock, the Solar moves, Shadow Force, and Meteor Beam, especially since these moves are (excluding solar) significantly better than their alternatives.
Depending on the strength could consider including the recharge moves and/or Future Sight and Doom Desire too though the flavour is quite off. Could do another item for those.

:booster-energy:
Name: Booster Energy
Effect: One-use to Unlimited use
Removable: Unchanged
Fling Power & Effect: Unchanged
Justification: An interesting offensive item when combined with Protosynthesis/Quark Drive to provide a (usually) speed boost that Imposter doesn't copy.
:sv/iron-bundle:
Name: Iron Bundle
Type: Ice/Water
Stats: 56/80/114/124/60/136|570 -> 76/80/94/134/80/136|600 (+20 HP, -20 Def, +10 SpA, +20 SpD)
Justification: Iron Bundle has a really cool offensive typing and decent stats, notably it has perfect coverage between STABs. 134 SpA gives it enough power to 2HKO Ice Scales Arc with Specs PSea Water Spout after 1 Spike, 2HKO PH POgre with LO SF Freeze-Dry, and 2HKO neutral Arc with LO SF Steam Eruption. Extra SpD lets it always live two Griseous Orb Giratina's Core Enforcers, Def dropped to match HP increase.
I wanted to give it extra speed so it could opt for Modest while outspeeding 120s but 138 ties hero formes and 137 is an odd number :/

:sv/Toxapex:
Name: Toxapex
Type: Water/Poison
Stats: 50/63/152/53/142/35 -> 65/63/152/53/142/35|510 (+15 HP)
Justification: Toxapex has a really good typing for the meta, resisting the Fairy moves while also having the useful Water-type. However, its bulk is just not good enough to check stuff consistently so a bulk increase helps it hit benchmarks such as never getting 2hkoed by Steelworker Kartana's Sunsteel Strike and Specs Diancie's Boomburst with a Sassy nature. Its still very very passive

:sv/Pincurchin:
Name: Pincurchin
Type: Electric -> Electric/Poison
Stats: 48/101/95/91/85/15|435 -> 98/101/110/91/105/15|520 (+50 HP, +15 Def +20 SpD)
Justification: Electric Poison is a cool defensive type that offers a Fairy resist, an Electric resist, and a Steel resist, with a main drawback of being 4x Ground weak. Bulk numbers lets it take 2 TC Power Whips from Kartana with a Relaxed nature, and 2 Hadron Rising Voltages from Miraidon (not specs).

:sv/darmanitan-galar-zen:
Name: Darmanitan-Galar-Zen
Type: Ice/Fire
Stats: 105/160/55/30/55/135|540 -> 105/130/55/30/55/135|520 (-30 Atk)
Justification: Everyone's favourite Snowman has an absurd offensive typing and stats, but so far Glance is nerfed and V-create has been nerfed, so it might be manageable. Some stat adjustments reduce its overall power, making stuff like Band OPulse V-create (150 BP) unable to 2hko Mega Slowbro, and Band Glance unable to 2hko PDon.

Name: Last Respects | Retaliate
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 50
Category: Physical
PP: 10
Effect: Gains 25 BP for every fainted party member, up to 175.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same
Type: Ghost | Normal
Justification: No longer broken, though probably worse than Rage Fist most of the time, and Retaliate is a new Normal option for things that aren't using Poison Heal Facade.

Name: Steel Roller | Ice Spinner
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 130
Category: Physical
PP: 5
Effect: Destroys terrains and hazards on both sides of the field. Fails if there are no terrains or hazards on the field.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same
Type: Steel | Ice
Justification: Hazard removal combined with an incredibly strong attack with no immunities, but extremely limited PP and a conditional to succeed.

Name: Sleep Talk
Accuracy: --
Power: --
Category: Status
PP: 10
Effect: Same as before. Can no longer call Rest, Roar, Whirlwind, Dragon Tail, Circle Throw, or Revival Blessing.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same
Type: Normal
Justification: Makes Comatose + Sleep Talk not broken, and also improves life for RestTalk users.

Name: Dread Press
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 80
Category: Special
PP: 10
Effect: Uses the user's Sp. Def in calculation instead of Sp. Atk.
Priority: 0
Flags: Same as Body Press minus contact
Type: Dark
Justification: Special Body Press for bullying Psychics like the new Latis and MMY.

Name: Poison Heal
Effect: Restores 1/16th of the user's max HP per turn while poisoned.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: No
Justification: Poison Heal nerf - still provides benefits like the immunity to other status and such, but the HP regained per turn is no longer as huge.

Name: Inner Peace
Effect: Restores 1/8th of the user's HP at the end of the turn if it did not use a damaging move or take direct damage that turn.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: No
Justification: Passive HP regen contingent on not taking direct damage.

Name: Plus | Minus
Effect: Boosts the user's Sp. Attack by 50%. Reduces the accuracy of its special moves by 20% unless another Pokémon with Plus or Minus is on the field.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: No
Justification: All-around boost for special attackers at the price of accuracy. Special Hustle, effectively. The additional effect will almost never come into play in singles, but it's nice.

Name: Aura Break
Effect: Fairy and Dark-type moves used by any Pokémon fail while this Pokémon is on the field. Ruin Abilities raise their stat instead of lowering it. Self-announces.
Impermanent: Yes
Ignoreable: Yes
Justification: Immunity to two absolutely huge attacking types, at the cost of self-denying moves like Knock Off. The Ruin Abilities are a fun side-effect.

Name: Light Ball
Effect: Same. Now affects Pichu, Raichu, Raichu-Alola, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, Emolga, Dedenne, Togedemaru, Morpeko, Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot.
Removable: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: Same
Justification: Mostly affects Pawmot, being the highest HP Light Ball Imposter user, but it also has 115 Attack un-transformed and can hit like several trucks as long as you avoid Knock Off and can deal with its poor stats everywhere else.

Name: Ring Target
Effect: The user's same-typed moves deal resisted damage to type-based immunities.
Removable: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: Same
Justification: Extremely useful, but you lose out on holding other items.

Name: Control Helmet
Effect: If held by Type: Null, doubles its Defense and Sp. Def stats, but halves its Attack, Sp. Atk, and Speed stats.
Removable: Not when held by Type: Null
Fling Power & Effect: 100, none
Justification: Superior, un-removable Eviolite for Null.

Name: Memories
Effect: Same. If held by Silvally, raises its most proficient stat one stage on switching in. RKS System not required for this effect to activate.
Removable: Not when held by Silvally
Fling Power & Effect: Same
Justification: Silvally is Arceus but bad. A free stat boost lets it go hard.

Name: Type: Null | Silvally (All Forms)
Type: Normal
Stats: 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 50 (550 BST) | 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 (600 BST)
Justification: Extra bulk and easier underspeeding for Null, slightly improved stats all-around for Silvally, though they'll both still be bad without the items.

Name: Stakataka
Type: Ghost / Steel
Stats: 61 / 131 / 211 / 53 / 101 / 13 (570 BST)
Justification: Swear to god I was gonna sub this before the Gholdengo above. Anyways, better physical bulk, worse special bulk, physical instead of special, no Speed, Aegislash but good, etc.

Name: Manectric | Mega Manectric
Type: Electric | Electric / Dark
Stats: 75 / 75 / 60 / 105 / 60 / 125 (500 BST) | 75 / 75 / 80 / 135 / 80 / 155 (600 BST)
Mega Ability: Galvanize
Justification: Normal Manectric is still not anything, but Mega provides great Speed control, a Psychic immunity, and hits acceptably hard, functioning like a faster but frailer Miraidon. Galvanize as a Mega Ability lets you do some dumb shit with the stone evolution and Electric Surge or Hadron Engine.

Moves
Name
: Bleakwind Storm, Wildbolt Storm, Springtide Storm, Sandsear Storm
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 100 (unchanged)
Z-Power (if a signature attack): 180 (unchanged)
Category: all special (unchanged)
PP: springtide gets 16, the other ones keep 16 (springtide had 8 for some reason)
Effect: unchanged
Priority: 0 (unchanged)
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): wind (unchanged)
Type: unchanged
Justification: subbing sandsear for a good special ground move to cure my earth plate addiction. ground is one of the most sought for coverage types and special ground in particular is good to hit pdon but your strongest pick is either earth power or earth plate judgment. this fixes that. sandsear's secondary effect is also very useful, and 16 pp with 100% accuracy allows you to plausibly fish for burns.

the other 3 are just here as part of the family. bleakwind is cool since flying also lack good strong special moves, but you do have aeriburst and owing so its not nearly as bad, not to mention special attackers arent looking for flying coverage anyway. the 30% speed drop is also nifty for that zacian switching into you. springtide is moonblast with a few tradeoffs - 5 more bp, atk drop which is arguably more useful than spa drop (especially on things like ph qd xerneas), but 8 less pp. wildbolt is just buffed tbolt, and id still run bolt strike/tcage/drift before it.

Ability changes:

Name
: Color Change
Effect: Same but activates before taking damage
Impermanent: same as before
Ignoreable: same as before
Justification: subbing this for Lysio who does not have a smog account

Name: Sword/Beads/Tablets/Vessel of Ruin
Effect: Lowers the Defense/Special Defense/Attack/Special Attack of All Pokemon on the field by 25%
Impermanent: No
Ignoreable: No
Justification
: These abilities would become very weak if nerfed numerically, as they already self-announce. This way, instead of reducing the primary functionality of the ability, you're adding a downside like all the other damage amp abilities (e.g. tc/sf only affecting some moves) Sword and Beads mons now are frailer than with other abilities. This primarily affects Zacian-C and Mega Mewtwo X/Y. Tablets and Vessel, while already niche and not needing a nerf, don't suffer much from this change.

Name: Geomancy
Effect: Doesn’t need to charge, but only raises SpAtk and Spe by 1
Accuracy: -
Power: -
Z-Power: Raises SpAtk and Spe by 2, but needs to charge
Priority: 0
PP: 8
Flags: -
Type: Status Fairy
Justification: More balanced Geomancy, but still makes it viable with the SpAtk and Spe boost.

Name: Scare’O’Switch
Effect: User switches out, 10% chance for the target to also switch out
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 80
Priority: 0
PP: 16
Flags: -
Type: Special Ghost
Justification: Ghost VoltTurn, having a small chance to switch may be broken, but luck is part of Pokémon…

Name: Motor Burst
Effect: Lowers user’s Atk and SpAtk by 1
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 120
Priority: 0
PP: 8
Flags: -
Type: Physical Steel
Justification: Steel needs a “aggressive” move that’s not 75% accurate Iron Tail.

Name: Lunar Speed
Accuracy: 100%
Power: 80
Priority: 1
PP: 8
Flags: -
Type: Special Psychic
Justification: Psychic Extreme Speed, I’ve felt that special attackers needed priority, so here you go
