Miraidon is a great setup sweeper due to its amazing Special Attack, which is boosted by Hadron Engine, and Speed stats. Calm Mind + Agility allows Miraidon to easily setup on Pokemon such as Corviknight and Toxapex, giving it outstanding sweeping potential. A single Agility boost allows it to outspeed every Pokemon in the metagame, including Iron Bundle after a Quark Drive Boost. Parabolic Charge is a good STAB move that lets Miraidon recover health while also dealing great damage to Pokemon such as Iron Bundle and Corviknight. Dazzling Gleam + Tera Fairy allows it to deal with Ground-types such as Great Tusk and Ting-Lu. Tera Fairy also allows Miraidon to take neutral damage from Fairy-, Ground-, and Ice-type moves while gaining an immunity to Dragon-type moves, potentially catching foes such as Choice Scarf Koraidon and Chien-Pao by surprise. Miraidon struggles to break through Clodsire, so it appreciates Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Iron Bundle that force Clodsire out. Great Tusk can also clear entry hazards, keeping Miraidon healthy.
