Pet Mod metamons slate 12 - Sunflora, Articuno, Passimian, Frogadier

:ss/Eldegoss:
Pokémon: Eldegoss
Stats: 60 / 50 / 90 / 110 / 120 / 100 {BST: 530}
Abilities: Cotton Down / Regenerator / Effect Spore
Typing: Grass / Electric
Move Changes: + Volt Switch, Discharge, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Sludge Bomb
Summary of Changes: + 40 Spe, + 30 spA, + Electric-type, + Volt Switch, Discharge, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Sludge Bomb
Description: A blend between offense and defense for this one. It’s bulk was already pretty solid, but it’s severely lacking in the movepool department which makes its offense somewhat lackluster. Gaining pivoting and some coverage allows Eldegoss to fulfill more roles now and boosts its offensive potential as well.

:ss/Granbull:
Pokémon: Granbull
Stats: 90 / 120 / 95 / 60 / 70 / 55 {BST: 490}
Abilities: Intimidate / Quick Feet / Strong Jaw
Typing: Fairy / Dark
Move Changes: + Parting Shot, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Jaw Lock, Knock Off, Psychic Fangs
Summary of Changes: + 20 Def, + 10 spD, + 10 Spe, Rattled —> Strong Jaw, + Dark-type, + Parting Shot, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Jaw Lock, Knock Off, Psychic Fangs
Description: Intimidate pivot or Strong Jaw breaker. Has good utility for Intim sets with Knock Off and Parting Shot and matches up well against a good amount of the defensive options in the tier, being able to set up on them and then destroy them with Jaw Lock and Sucker Punch

:ss/Abomasnow:
Pokémon: Abomasnow
Stats: 90 / 102 / 75 / 102 / 75 / 90 {BST: 534}
Abilities: Snow Warning / No Guard / Soundproof
Typing: Fighting / Ice
Move Changes: + Close Combat, Triple Axel, Vacuum Wave
Summary of Changes: + 10 Atk, + 10 spA, + 30 Spe, - 10 spD, + No Guard, Grass —> Fighting, + Close Combat, Triple Axel, Vacuum Wave
Description: Snow Warning user with Aurora Veil / No Guard Breaker. Fast enough to get up Aurora Veil consistently and can then break behind it with Blizzards, or go more mixed with No Guard.

Pokémon: Granbull
Stats: 80 / 110 / 80 / 60 / 100 / 65 (495 BST)
Abilities: Intimidate / Poison Heal (H)
Typing:

Moves: Wish
Summary of Changes: idk i literally dont look at the mon's original stats. changed abilities, added its normal type back, gave it Wish
Description: It's Granbing Time. Epic Poison Heal makes it have a potent way to absorb status, and it can also be a cleric if needed (do not recommend using it alongside pheal but if you get wisped on the switch it might be worth). Intimidate also exists and both sets can use Wish well. ENJOY.

Pokémon: Granbull
Stats: 100 / 120 / 100 / 60 / 80 / 70 (540 BST)
Abilities: Intimidate / Rattled | Quick Feet
Typing: Fairy / Fighting
Move Changes: none
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +30 Def, +20 SpDef, +25 Spe
Description: Adding a second fighting type, which (to me) has always been the type Granbull should've gotten. 120 attack state, CC AND Superpower, with amazing coverage. Granbull is here to switch into most the tier's physical threats, tank a hit, and look to deal it back in full. And hey, if you're not super interested in a intimidate switchin, Granbull can look to soak a status in turn for damage.

Pokemon: Abomasnow
Stats: 83 / 100 / 60 / 100 / 75 / 110
Abilities: Snow Warning | Soundproof
Typing: Ice
Move Changes: -All Grass Moves, Earthquake, Outrage +Winter Vortex, Energy Ball
Summary of Changes:
-7 HP, +8 Atk, -15 Def, +18 Sp. Atk, -10 Sp. Def, +50 Spe
Winter Vortex | 60 BP, 90% Acc, 24 PP | 20% chance to freeze, traps target, only usable in hail.
Description: Fuck it. Speedy abomasnow. Persian is a cool Ice type, but Abomasnow is cooler. It's fast, it cleaves most of the tier, but will mostly be a revenge killer and look to get hail up. Blizzard will be a premier pick for our yeti(?), with Winter Vortex to trap certain mons, Ice Shard, Beam, etc. for STAB. Coverage in E-Ball, Earth Power, Focus Blast, and Shadow Ball. That's it.

Typing: Grass / Poison
Abilities: Regenerator / Thick Fat
Movepool Changes: + Sludge Bomb, + Toxic, + Toxic Spikes, + Corrosive Gas
Corrosive gas now poisons.
Still removes items.
Poison | Status | 100Acc
Summary of Changes: + Poison Type, stat tweaks, new moves.
Description: uhh basically just clicks button and poisons stuff. has spin and aromatherapy. also has thick fat if you really want to i guess
:bw/abomasnow:
Pokemon: Abomasnow
Stats: 100 HP (+10) / 82 Atk (-10) / 80 Def (+5) / 82 SpA (-10) / 80 SpD (+5) / 66 Spe (+6)
Typing: Ice / Steel
Abilities: Snow Warning / Soundproof /
Movepool Changes: + Flash Cannon, +Steel Beam, +Anchor Shot, +Iron Head, + Frostbite, - All Grass Moves
you guessed it, its just frostbite from PLA

this move applies the "frostbitten" status to opposing pokemon which halves the base power of their special moves. Ice types are immune.
Ice | Status | 85Acc
Summary of Changes: + Steel type, - Grass type, loses grass moves but gains steel moves, new frostbite move to inflict frostbite.
Description: new steel type with about the same bulk as non-intimidate arcanine, and has special wisp.
apparently the abomasnow ^^ isn't allowed (no new statuses ig)

You wake up. You're still an Abomasnow, chilling in generation four.
It was all a dream.
The concepts of "Aurora Veil" and "Slush Rush" begin to lose all meaning in the serenity of the mountains.
You move your snow covered body back into the cave as non Ice Type Pokémon take chip damage from the Hail.
Life is good.

I present to you, Hippowdon but Ice Type, trapping and defiant cause too many intimidates. Tadah

Subs are closed, and, with that come the VETOS
:swsh/eldegoss:
Bluecliqse's Eldegoss
Upon further council inspection, we have deemed Corrosive Gas really annoying and strong. Being able to spread Poison through the likes of Poison-type Pokémon and Steel-type Pokémon (which is the type with most mons, only after Dark) is incredibly obnoxious, and i'd also say we already have mons that are impossible to switch in, and adding one to the mix isn't good. I'd say remove the corrosion part and it is good to go.

:swsh/granbull:
Nateboomer21's Granbull
Guts powered with 120 Atk, 70 Speed and nearly perfect coverage for the meta (except for Slowbro-Galar and Perrserker, both being not top tier mons and also getting blasted by Earthquake) is very not okay, not to mention it would still be good regardless because that bulk with Intimidate and good atk is absolutely superb. Remove Guts and you're okay.

24 hours / time it takes for both to fix the subs and votes are open.

Stats: 95/50/80/80/120/70
Abilities: Regenerator | Cotton Down | Unaware
Typing: Grass/Fighting
Move Changes: +Wish, Teleport, Body Press, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast
Summary of Changes: Stats, Ability, Typing, Movepool
Description: Wishport mon that can Rapid Spin, thats it! 4x weakness to flying is ass with the newly added Emolga and buffed Salazzle, but other than that it has great resistances against six types including the running around Dark types. You can do Cotton Guard Body Press if you like that too.
:eldegoss: Lavarina for Eldegoss! :eldegoss:

Pokémon: Abomasnow
Stats: 70 / 92 / 70 / 92 / 65 / 90 (BST: 479)
Abilities: Snow Warning / Skill Link / Soundproof
Typing: Ground / Ice
Move Changes: -Swords Dance
Summary of Changes: Stats (-20 HP, -5 Def, -20 SpD, +30 Spe), new typing, new abilities and move changes
Description: Honestly I think the typing's very based overall and its versatility is quite amazing, as it's got a wide movepool, solid stats and neat abilities, however, all of the sets have their counterplay, as for example Specs hits like a truck but its very prediction reliant as a lot of things can take an EP and Blizzard gets walled by Steel-types, so you have to constantly predict. Skill Link sets on other hand are very fun, as they alleviate the Unnerve issue, however, it's more vulnerable to burn now, so that means stuff like Sableye can wall it now. Soundproof is niche, but helps it to hard check Sylveon. Overall I think it'll be very well balanced by its middle Speed Tier and the fact it can't just fit everything it wants in one, but it's still very cool overall.
:abomasnow: Scorbunnys for Abomasnow! :abomasnow:

Abilities: Beast Boost / Lightning Rod
Typing: Water / Dragon
Move Changes: + Recover, Scald, Hydro Pump, Surf
Summary of Changes: Dark → Water, changed stats, + Lightning Rod, + Recover, Scald, Hydro Pump, Surf
Description: Does a bit of everything. Great bulk with a solid typing, can hit hard, somewhat fast, and has a good amount of utility, and prevents Volt Switch. Versatile glue option.

:ss/Necrozma:
Pokémon: Necrozma
Stats: 97 / 117 / 101 / 117 / 89 / 79 {BST: 600}
Abilities: Prism Armor
Typing: Psychic / Fire
Move Changes: + Flare Blitz, Fire Punch, Flamethrower
Summary of Changes: +Steel-type, -10 spA, + 10 Atk
Description: A little upset that this one wasn't any type since this has way too much coverage for its own good, but either way here’s Necrozma. Fire-typing in this meta is good but leaves it susceptible to SR, which is not as good, and there are some very solid Fire-type checks in the meta like Houndoom/Mantine.

:ss/Entei:
Pokémon: Entei
Stats: 115 / 90 / 85 / 105 / 75 / 100 {BST: 570}

Summary of Changes: Inner Focus → Levitate, +Fighting type, + Close Combat, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere,+15 spA, -25 Atk
Description: Another fire dog that beats all of them 1v1 this time. Special instead of physical to differentiate itself and to be easier to check by the likes of Mantine / Sylveon / Glowbro. Really threatening STAB combo and avoids Ground moves just so it can beat Arcanine / Bastiodon easier

Abilities: Beast Boost / Gluttony | HA: Poison Touch
Typing: Dragon / Poison
Move Changes
: +Gunk Shot, +Toxic Spikes, +Bulk Up, +Nasty Plot, +Stuff Cheeks, +Recycle
-All original Dark moves sans Knock Off
Summary of Changes: Stats, Typing, Ability, Movepool
Description: Guzzlord mainly serves as a powerful wallbreaker on either side of the spectrum thanks to it's near equal attacking stats. Poison Touch can be used to spread status if it opts to lean into that angle. Gluttony + Stuff Cheeks really just exists as a means to get off Belch sets really well.

Summary of Changes: Typing, Movepool
Description: Necrozma with a Psychic / Water typing check blanket check a large majority of the metagame thanks to it's solid bulk and access to Prism Armor that further weakens SE hits. No reliable recovery does impact how potent bulky CM variants are, but Meteor Beam + Rock Polish and Dragon Dance are still both potent breakers in their own right.

Accuracy: -
PP:
10
Effect(s): Heals 75% of max HP and removes status infliction from the user. Removes the user's Fire type and traps them for the following turn. Fails if the user is not Fire type.
Description: Entei serves mainly as a cool defensive pivot thanks to being able to spread burns with Sacred Fire while also doubling as a potent STAB option, while packing solid utility in Knock Off. Fire Renewal is a cool risk reward esq move, that sacrifices your Fire typing and ability to switch for a turn to near guarantee full health and status restoration. The move can only be used per time out, and the trapping aspect can be used to it's advantage, but it still keeps itself sustained relatively well. Court Change is fun too.

:ss/Guzzlord:
Pokémon: Guzzlord
Stats: 113 / 101 / 97 / 79 / 61 / 31 | BST: 482
Abilities: Pastel Veil / Beast Boost
Pastel Veil halves damage from Poison-Type moves to x0.5

Typing: Dark / Flying
Move Changes: +Migration (Flying U-turn), +Defog, +Dual Wingbeat, -all dragon moves (sans Dragon Tail).
Summary of Changes: Stat rework (-110 HP, +44 Def, -18 SpA, +8 SpD, -10 Spe), new ability, new typing, new movepool and custom elements.
Description: Cool tank with good ol' KnockTurn (more like KnockGration, lol) and with a solid typing that helps it to 1v1 Toxicroak decently and check shit like Tsareena, Sandslash, and non-Gleam Espeon while having overall nice offensive power and can choose whether if it wants to boost its atk stat (Beast Boost) or switch into Poison-type moves (see: Toxicroak) and have a poison immunity (Pastel Veil).

Move Changes: +Iron Head, +Flash Cannon, +Steel Beam, -Moonlight, -Morning Sun
Summary of Changes: Stat rework (, -10 HP, +10 Atk, -5 Def, -10 SpA, -5 SpD), new ability, move changes and new typing.
Description: Solid sweeper able to legitimately switch into Ground-types like Bastiodon or Sandslash while boosting on them. Prism Armor also works for Weakness Policy sets too, although Levitate might be more common. As for the sets, it'll most likely run CM, DD, WP Autotomize, and Meteor Beam while probably having some niche defensive set popping up.

Pokémon: Guzzlord
Stats: 151 / 101 / 89 / 79 / 83 / 29
Abilities: Beast Boost
Typing: Dark
Move Changes: -Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw, Outrage, +Recover, Parting Shot
Summary of Changes: ↑ Def, SpDef ↓ HP, SpA, Spe. No more Dragon moves aside from DTail, no more dragon type.
Description: Kinda just wanted to make a big, slow defensive mon that can keep the blood flowing. 151/89/83 is formidable enough, will chunk a lot of things with a knock off or crunch.

:necrozma:
Pokémon: Necrozma
Stats: 95 / 110 / 101 / 125 / 89 / 79
Abilities: Levitate, Sheer Force | Magnet Pull
Typing: Psychic
Move Changes: - Stealth Rock, +Zen Headbutt, Drain Punch
Summary of Changes: Shifted stats really slightly (97 -> 95, 107 -> 110, 127 -> 125). Levitate, Sheer Force, & Magnet Pull over Prism Armor.
Description: Making Necrozma a bit of a jack of all trades. You need a ground switchin? Levitate, come in on strong ground type moves and threaten basically everything that wants to press them. Sheer Force if you want to DD once (or twice) and just start letting off heat. Magnet Pull to shit on this tier's best steels by packing coverage for them (drudd or bastio, and blowing duraludon to the fucking moon if it's on the opponent's team). Necrozma fits really nicely on webs archetypes as well, with SD, CM, DD all to set up off of forced switch outs.

:entei:
Pokémon: Entei
Stats: 100 / 120 / 80 / 103 / 70 / 110
Abilities: Pressure, Inner Focus* | Mold Breaker
Typing: Fire / Fighting
Move Changes: +Superpower, Sacred Sword, Focus Blast
Summary of Changes: ↑ Atk, SpA, Spe ↓ HP, Def, SpDef. Added Mold Breaker, and fighting types.
Inner Focus - Applies to Unnerve too.
Description: MOLD BREAKER YEAAAAAAA. I think this meta was in desperate need of a Mold Breaker mon, between Bulletproof shenanigans, Levitate, Fur Coat, etc. But Entei has the coverage to opt out of Mold Breaker, and go Inner Focus, to shut down the 2 Intimidate & 2 Unnerve pokemon in the tier. This mon only has ok ground coverage, and struggles overall with water types like Mantine, Phys Def Grapploct, and can't cover everything in one set, having to choose between Mold Breaker & Inner Focus for certain matchups.
