Meowscarada is a fantastic revenge killer for any Dark team, due to its great speed, coverage moves, and ability Protean, allowing it to excel at its job. Flower Trick allows Meowscarada to become a great late-game cleaner against Ground and Water teams taking out threats such as Great Tusk, Greninja, and Flutter Mane. Knock Off can target Ghost- and Psychic-type Pokemon such as Gholdengo and Espathra, while removing items from walls such as Toxapex's Black Sludge, Klefki's Light Clay, and Skeledirge's Heavy-Duty Boots. Play Rough allows Meowscarada to clean through weakened Dragon teams, while also being a useful move late-game in mirror matches against other Dark teams. Alternatively, Meowscarada can run Toxic Spikes allowing it to cripple foes such as Great Tusk. U-turn allows Meowscarada to pick up momentum for its team on forced switches such as against opposing Greninja. Choice Scarf plus its Speed and allows it to take on threats such as Greninja, Choice Scarf Great Tusk, and Choice Specs Flutter Mane.
Greninja and Meowscarada form a Protean spamming core and can break the others check, Greninja can beat Toxapex and Corviknight for Meowscarada, while Choice Scarf Meowscarada can revenge kill Flutter Mane for Greninja. Chien-Pao can prevent walls such as Toxapex from healing with Taunt, allowing Meowscarada to better pressure Water teams, it can also pressure Flying- and Dragon-types for it beating threats such as Dragonite. Chien-Pao can also break past defensive walls such as Clodsire and Amoonguss for Moewscarada. Kingambit is an incredible late-game sweeper, being able to pick off faster threats like Choice Scarf Flutter Mane, and beating down Fairy-types such as Hatterene for Meowscarada. In return Meowscarada can pick off Iron Valiant, allowing Kingambit to better pressure Fairy teams. Ting-Lu sets Stealth Rock and Spikes allowing Meowscarada to more easily clean late-game. Additionally, it can check slower Pokemon such as Toxapex, Corviknight, and Clodsire with a combination of Taunt and Earthquake or Ruination. It can also stomach strong special attacks such as Specs Flutter Mane's Moonblast and OHKO it in return with Heavy Slam. Sableye can switch into Fighting-type attacks for Meowscarada such as Great Tusk's Close Combat and either cripple it with Will-O-Wisp, or lock it into a Fighting move with Encore. Sableye can also prevent pokemon like Clodsire or Brambleghast from setting hazards thanks to Prankster Taunt. Finally, Skuntank can ease the Fairy matchup, by being able to 1v1 Hatterene allowing it to safely setup Toxic Spikes. It can also trap Klefki with Fire Spin, preventing screens from staying on the field for too long. Hydreigon can take on walls such as Toxapex for Meowscarada with a combination of Substitute + Nasty Plot, allowing it to safely setup and overpower them.
