When it's not happily carrying surfers throughout the islands of Alola, Mantine is in NU acting as an incredible defensive stalwart! Thanks to its great typing and exceptional mixed bulk, Mantine can reliably check some of the tier's offensive powerhouses, including Salazzle, Silvally-Ground, and Alolan Exeggutor. It also possesses a solid Speed tier that gets the jump on Vileplume, Bulk Up Scrafty, and, with the given Speed EVs, the aforementioned Alolan Exeggutor, who all prey on the tier's other bulky Water-types, and threatens them with its deceivingly strong Hurricane. Foes that can shrug off its attacks like Dry Skin Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and opposing Mantine get easily punished with Toxic. Ground-types such as Mudsdale and Silvally-Ground are necessary to shore up for Mantine's debilitating weakness to Electric-types like Heliolisk and Rotom-C; in return, Mantine can switch into Water-type attacks from Inteleon and Vaporeon. Stakataka can help check stronger special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Indeedee-F and Exploud and loves Mantine's ability to cover for all of its Water, Ground, and Fighting weaknesses.

When it's not happily carrying surfers throughout the islands of Alola, Mantine is seen in NU as an incredible defensive stalwart! Thanks to its unique typing and solid bulk, Mantine can reliably check some of the tier's offensive powerhouses, including Salazzle, Silvally-Ground, and Alolan Exeggutor. Furthermore, in a sea of bulky Water-types where Vaporeon and Gastrodon also swim freely, one of Mantine's biggest selling points is its deceivingly strong Hurricane, which can instantly pressure common threats in Vileplume, Toxicroak, Scrafty, and the aforementioned Alolan Exeggutor (This is a fair point, but checking Grass- and Fighting-types is to be expected of a defensive Flying-type, even if Mantine is unique amongst the Water-type walls. Instead, there could be more substance commenting on Mantine being a well-rounded defensive pick, praising its mixed bulk and good speed as the reason why it defeats common wallbreakers and stallbreakers like x, y, and z. This way, you're justifying the given EV spread and Mantine's unique stats, and not just commenting on the perks of STAB Hurricane) Foes that can shrug off its attacks like Dry Skin Heliolisk, Gastrodon, and opposing Mantine get easily punished with Toxic. Ground-types such as Mudsdale or Silvally-Ground are necessary to shore up for Mantine's debilitating Electric weakness from Heliolisk and Rotom-C; in return, Mantine can switch into Water-type attacks from Inteleon and Vaporeon. Stakataka can help check stronger special wallbreakers like Exploud and Indeedee-F and loves Mantine's ability to cover for all of its Water, Ground, and Fighting weaknesses. The Speed EVs allow Mantine to outspeed Adamant Golurk. (QC felt that Golurk wasn't relevant enough anymore to speed creep, so we went with the above mixed spread to creep Alolan Exeggutor. Just make sure to reference the investment when reworking the earlier point about why it's able to check its threats)

QC 2/2! We reworked the spread a little, and from there I only had a couple suggestions. Great work!
