Don’t ask why I only collect green badges, or why I carry a katana when I already have such a cool stronk team, or why my name loosely translates toGreen Potato” in Japanese.
:bw/breloom: My all time favorite pokemon.
:bw/skarmory: My all time second favorite Pokemon (sometimes it’s Weavile depending on my mood)
:bw/volcarona: My all time fourth favorite Pokemon, and my favorite pseudo-pseudo-legendary.
:bw/lucario::lucarionite: My favorite mega and the first mega I ever (remember that I) obtained (no wait I think it was Absol but whatever).
:bw/garchomp: my favorite pseudo-legendary.
:bw/Milotic: On my list of favorites, but I mostly think it fits on my team really well.

So basically these are just my favorites

:bw/breloom::toxic orb:
Orange (Breloom) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Leech Seed
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed

Orange runs a weird offensive Poison Heal set that supports the team with Spore and Leech Seed. He is also a strong attacker with its dual STABs.

:bw/skarmory::leftovers:
Tiě hè (Skarmory) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Spikes
- Brave Bird
- Taunt

Tiě hè takes many physical hits for the team while aiding Garchomp in stacking hazards.

:bw/volcarona::buginium z:
Molly (Volcarona) (F) @ Buginium Z
Ability: Flame Body
Modest Nature
- Fiery Dance
- Silver Wind
- Quiver Dance
- Roost

Molly is a potent wincon that can surprise foes with an omniboost from Silver Wind, which can mitigate its low base power by becoming Savage Spin-Out by means of using Buginium Z.

:bw/garchomp::soft sand:
Grayson (Garchomp) (M) @ Soft Sand
Ability: Rough Skin
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Grayson is a heavy damage dealer on both sides of the spectrum with a strong mixed set. It aids Tiě hè in stacking hazards, and gains free entry on Electric attacks directed at my Skarmory / Milotic core.

:bw/lucario::lucarionite:
Stir Fry (Lucario) (F) @ Lucarionite
Ability: Lustified -> Adaptability
Naive Nature
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Flash Cannon
- Dark Pulse

Stir Fry is a secondary wincon to Molly, who can dismantle teams with Adaptability-boosted attacks of both categories, while using Dark Pulse to form perfect coverage with its STABs

:bw/Milotic::leftovers:
Squishums (Milotic) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Competetive
Calm Nature
- Whirlpool
- Toxic
- Recover
- Scald

Squishums takes heavy special hits for the team, forming some sort of defensive core with Tiě hè, that is notably weak to Electric, but we have a Garchomp so whatever. Squishums uses Whirlpool to trap and remove foes that threaten her other teammates.
I’m not sure why the spoilers are split into two. Oh well.

Gardevoir: First and favorite masuda method shiny in SWSH as well as one of my favorite mega forms.
Necrozma: Favorite legendary pokemon / favorite ultra beast.
Arceus: My favorite strategy in higher tiers is ekiller arceus, which I named Golden Wind after its shiny form. I do not have this pokemon.
Zacian: First box legendary.

Edit: this was an awkward time to get the discord name change.

This here trainer card is my final team for my Pokemon Sword nuzlocke! I'll explain how I obtained these wonderful Pokemon, final movesets and the intent behind their names!
Cinderace - My starter. His name, Ronaldo, is a reference to the Portuguese soccer player, as I am a quarter Portuguese. His final moveset was Bounce, Pyro Ball, Double Kick, and Court Change. He does not have his Gigantamax form.
Coalossal - My encounter as a Rolycoly on I believe Route 3, right before Galarian Mine No. 1. I named him Steve partially because it was the first thing atop my head, but also because the word looks like "stove", and I think Coalossal was the Minecraft 'mon before Garganacl came around a generation later. His moveset was Heat Crash, Rock Slide, Dig, and Flare Blitz. He does not have his Gigantamax form.
Kommo-O - Found as Jangmo-O in the Lake of Outrage. Her name is a portmanteau of sorts, being a fusion between Armor and Miss(tress). Her moveset was Clanging Scales, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, and Close Combat.
Vanilluxe - Was found as Vanillish in the snowy route right before Wyndon (confident its Route 9, not 100% sure though). Her name matches the ice cream shop chain found near my home. Her moves were Hail, Blizzard, Ice Beam, and Rest.
Urshifu - Found as Kubfu in the Armor Dojo. His name is also a portmanteau, this time of Lee as in Bruce Lee and Chan as in Jackie Chan. His moves were Surging Strikes, Close Combat, Iron Head, and Aerial Ace.
Orbeetle - My first catch as a Blipbug on the first route. I accidentally forgot to edit his name into the trainer card, but he does have one. His name is Maswarmind, another portmanteau of Swarm and Mastermind. His moves were Reflect, Light Screen, Bug Buzz, and Psychic.

Some current character ideas I have for a (very hypothetical) fangame, with placeholder names. These are also closer to rematch teams, earlier encounters are unlikely to be fully evolved or filled out:

While the gyms loosely correspond to weather/terrain conditions, I wanted to do more than just the default type. At the same time, I wanted to have a Water specialist that emphasized the semi-frequent weapon/military themes in that type. The current result is that "Admiral" was previously in charge of the Rain-adjacent gym but has since been promoted to E4, with their longtime rival running with an eldritch/lightless depths twist on an ocean theme.

I consider Bug's "essence" to be silk based on Savage Spin-Out, several of Scizor's generic attacks in Pokken, and a few other misc aesthetic choices. The resulting team is only mostly spider spam, though I couldn't just copy the standard sets for most since there would be too many Sticky Web leads. Scolipede is here to pass buffs that include Substitute, using the rendering of that move to stay more on theme. No Mega here since I'm sticking to only one gimmick per team and considered the Z-move to be necessary.

Okay I was surprised to see the Pokecharms site got a nice touch up since I last used it years ago to contribute to a thread on some likely now dead message board and promptly forgot about it since. So I'll just give a tldr on my picks:

Volcarona: Favorite Gen V mon. Big fan of angelic beings (and demonic ones, but angels win out for eldritch execution style) and it helps being a flying mon with Flame Body was a chef's kiss combination back then.
Baxcalibur: One of my favorite Ice-types as of late. Kind of helps I ended up hatching a 6 IV shiny Frigibax when I wasn't meaning to Masuda one so the shiny was a bit of a bonus.
Mawile-Mega: Probably my most used Mega Evolution pick back in Gens VI and VII. I used it because I liked the aesthetic and a lot of my current friend circles then associated it with me.
Corviknight: Okay this was kind of a filler pick because I felt "Maybe I'll put some Gen VIII rep" before later putting Ursaluna later anyway. After that, my brain was kind of running blanks on what to put but hey here's some Galar rep. If I hadn't had a brain fart earlier, this *probably* would have been Gyarados.
Miraidon/Ursaluna: So lumping these two together since I more or less use these two for 95% of my solo zero braincell Tera Raid farming and I wholly appreciate them for letting my shut my brain off for it until Miraidon whiffs Metal Sound several times in a row. Individually, I do enjoy their designs, mostly Miraidon because I like drawing machinery/mecha here and Amethyst as a name was a reference to the Gem theme naming of the Weapons from FF7. As for Ursaluna, I just wanted to showcase my stupid name taste to everybody even though Corviknight was already doing that just fine.

Looked fun, so why not?

Explanations:

:Espeon: Esp: Came with me all the way from SoulSilver, I have a distinct memory of using Esp to sweep Red for the first time while a couple levels under. Esp has gone through every game I've owned since then.

:Sandaconda-Gmax: Dranzer: Honestly my favorite GMax design, it is the only one I've specifially hunting a shiny den for. Took about 7 hours to do with the den seed method that time ago, but I say was 100% worth.

:Wishiwashi: Smallfry: Cute little guy, what can I say? And the fact he gets H U G E with the power of friendship, not gonna lie going through Moon the first time it's Totem cutscene made me jump a bit cuz I was not expecting that size.

:Regirock: Little King: Caught a Shadow Regirock in Pokemon Go a few months ago, ended up being a XXS. Also in my top 5 legendaries, so he has a special spot on my side.

:Drapion: Scourge: In the top 3 Sinnoh mons for me. I got wiped a few times by the static Alpha Drapion in PLA, which made catching him all the more satisfying.

:Charjabug: Jimmy: Such a funny little guy, I find him oddly cute. Also his little noise in the anime that sounds like him saying Jimmy is where his name comes from.

Decided to make another one, based on a villain I made for a fangame concept between some friends and I. This guy is on the hunt for Victini to ensure his business stays above all else, and to prove that humanity can overcome any/everything, that humanity is superior. Therefore, his team is based on "manmade" pokemon. The Mewtwo is supposed to be a "fake" Mewtwo, as he cannot locate the real Mewtwo, which is another reason he needs to capture Victini. No names or anything have been decided yet, since it's still completely in the beginning concept hpase, but I thought it'd be fun

I have so many pokemon that I like, but I feel confident that, no matter when, if I take a second look at this I can at least say "Yeah, this is about right".
Chien Pao has grown to me a lot ever since it got introduced in Gen9. It helped that it is a top-dog (or cat ig?) in VGC and that its artworks are amazing in the TCG. Luke is also the name of my first pet cat (he is still alive and adorable). I wish I had the space to add a second cat-pokemon to also honor his brother Sirius.
Rotom holds sort of a legendary status in my head because of me not knowing how to obtain it in its debut games DPP. My jaw dropped when I encountered them in the wild in ORAS lol. Ever since I adore it and its concept and all of its forms are very cool, I just wish they made new ones. It also has an amazing shiny. iRobot is the brand of our vacuum robot and he is named Rotom.
Torterra is my favorite starter of all time. Its whole evolution line is perfect, literal 10/10s. It is such a cool design. Oh and it was the first pokemon I ever had (technically Turtwig but you get the idea) which is always a pokemon everyone remembers. It is an Alpha so my whole team can ride on its back (the ones that arent levitating anyway). Cassiopeia references a childhood TV show of mine, called Momo (und die schwarzen Männer).
Hydreigon is my favorite pseudo-legendary and I used it whenever I got my hands on it ingame (despite its high level to evolve, luckily I love all of its stages). Dark/Dragon is also a very fitting typing for my very edgy phase of life, which is probably why it was so appealing to me in the first place. Ghidorah reference the obvious famous King Ghidorah from Godzilla, which is just supposed to represent my love for every Kaiju-like creatures. Big monster are amazing.
Thwackey is a funny guy. I love monkeys and monkey pokemon. There are a lot of good designed ones, like the elemental monkeys from Gen5. Thwackey in particular grew to me while playing through SS, but especially from the competitive side of SS. Grassy Terrain is amazing support and I just love the whole interaction of Grassy Glide getting its BP buffed in terrain and also becoming priority. The nerf to its BP in Gen9 sucks, but it won't stop me from spamming my beloved Pablo. Oh, I actually can not say where that Pablo meme comes from. I go for the name pablo a lot myself and I just started naming my Thwackey pablo too so idk. Its a bit random, but we love those.
Wurmple is a rather new pokemon in terms of how long I've been liking it and this slot could be a bunch of pokemon, like Kleavor and Toxtricity or Glarian Moltres. Too many really. Wurmple is the cutest of the small bug types you can get early with an amazing shiny. I also really like shiny Dustox. Every autumn-like shiny is amazing. Goliath because it is also an Alpha because why not.

1.

Gallade and its mega evolution are my all-time favorite pokemon, by far. I like everything in Gallade, know almost everything on him and definetely adore it. That obsession led me to have 4 distinct 186IVs EV'd Shiny Gallade.
Gallade-Mega @ Galladite
Ability: Sharpness
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sacred Sword
- Psycho Cut
- Triple Axel

2.:sv/toxtricity:
That buddy over there is my second favorite mon. I like that style, that flavor, the fact that it's Not controversial: EVERYONE likes it, or at least Don't hate it. Boomburst, Overdrive, I like to play it strategically Even(especially) when that implies playing in lower tiers. I just like the vibe,
Toxtricity (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Punk Rock
Tera Type: Normal
Gigantamax: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Shift Gear
- Boomburst
- Overdrive
- Drain Punch

3.:sv/absol:
I can't explain it, O was one day on poképédia (basically french bulbapedia) and was seeing somewhy the learners of perish song via egg and saw that odd-looking miniature. I saw the gen3 artwork, and liked it ever since then. This is the very one reason route 120 (Hoenn) is my favorite route. Finding absol in every emerald playthrough is a routine, no matter what starter I chose. Its mega is just a plus, and definetely this pokemon represents All I like about dark types.

Absol (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Tail
- Close Combat
Iron tail underrated I swear

4.

Ngl, that spider is real. I originally discovered it as one of my first pokemon cards. It really has style like Nothing else; menacing, intimidating, ferocious to An extent, yet stunningly magnificent. The best ability you could Give to that pokemon, fits flavor, fits strategically as a bug type that resists fire, that kills fire without breaking any sweat, and as water type that somehow deals With grass in a way.
Araquanid @ Mystic Water
Ability: Water Bubble
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Toxic
- Protect
- Leech Life
5.

Coalossal Is really a pokemon I enjoy. Pretty solid stats, very acceptable movepool, nice flavor, short spotligtht in the anime (half an episode or smthing), and very original name imo. In SV tera fixes the 2 x4 weaknesses It normally has. overall, i think coalossal Is a v nice mon.
Coalossal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
- Will-O-Wisp
- Body Press
- Stealth Rock
-0

6.

my very first starter (technically cindaquil in pmd but doesnt count.) Very strong starter, I like it a lot, really special nostalgia+ surprise. First starter ever to get in uber iirc, this Is the real game. While yes I shouldnt have chose it foe emerald, I fille assumed my choice as it took me 2 months of grinding for evolving torchic into combusken and having double kick and 2 years to win the league (I didn't played as much as now back then), I really enjoyed having it and then like strategically one of the best starter and it Is quite satisfying to play it. Awesome overall, favorite starter, While incineroar, inteleon, decidueye-hisui and cinderace are concurrents.

Blaziken @ Electrium Z
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Thunder Punch
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz

I chose wally as avatar as the default Méga-Gallade trainer. The fields of passio(background) are what Is the most appealing to me Cause there isn't fortree (favorite city) as a background afaik. And As a shiny hunter, I have many shinies but absol looks better Normal With te sleep sprite.

Here’s Mine.
I Have A Team For Each Reigon. But This Is The One I Like The Most (It Mostly Has Kanto Mons.)
• Venusaur | My Starter When I First Played Pokemon Red Ver.
• Alakazam | A Powerhouse In The First Gen.
• Aerodactyl | I Used Him In Leafgreen.
• Snorlax | Again I Used Him On Leafgreen...
• Magmortar | I Used A Magmar In Pokemon Red (With The Trainer Fly/Teleport Glitch) And Used A Magmortar In Platinum For A Reminder Of Him.
• Mewtwo | I Don’t Actually Like To Use Legendaries (Unless If They Are Like A Pseudo...) Just Challange Me In Pokemon Showdown, But I Always Catch Mewtwo In My Every Single Playthrough Of The Kanto Games, So Added It To My Team.

There are probabaly about 10 mons I coulda put in like 5 slots because Sneasel is my only true lock in but I didn't wanna overthink it.

Sneasel has been my favourite Pokemon since forever. Realistically probably some combination of Silver having it and it fighting with Toto dile in the anime. Dark followed by Ice have always been my favourite types so it all kinda worked out.

Monferno is a Pokemon that was on close to 100% of my teams during my time playing SM NFE. It's a real toss up between the Sinnoh starters for me because my favourite is actually Piplup hence I chose a background with it as an honourary mention.

Hattrem is another Pokemon I used a fair bit during SS and is part of the reason why I started getting called Jettrem as a nickname / Shing calling all of his Hattrems "jettrem lmao", and then later I adopted the name myself.

Gliscor was one of my favourite Pokemon due to the anime and it happens to be really strong competitively too. I don't really play the gens where it's at its best but it was still fairly good in DPP OU and that was a really fun metagame when I played it a little bit a few years back.

Flaaffy really shot up in my rankings due to a special art card with Elesa combing its wool, but I've always been a fan of the Mareep line.

Latias is my favourite legendary and it's probably due to the Pokemon movie it featured in. Search for the girl remains one of my favourite Pokemon soundtracks.
