Magneton @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Tri Attack

Three heads are better than one, and Magneton is a great example of that, being an up-and-coming wallbreaker in PU. Thanks to its unique STAB combination, it can threaten Ground-types like Sandaconda with a Flash Cannon as well as Water-types like Wishiwashi with a Thunderbolt or Volt Switch. Tri Attack hits the few Electric-immune Pokemon that aren't vulnerable to Steel, such as Quagsire and Lanturn. A Modest nature provides the most power, though a Timid nature is an option to ensure Magneton outspeeds all Jellicent as well as Adamant Gallade. Analytic's power boost notably also means special walls like Audino and Gigalith take massive amounts of damage from a STAB move when coming in. Quagsire, Lighting Rod Togedemaru, and Lanturn are the few walls that Magneton struggles to break past, and Pokemon like Gallade and Scyther can threaten these out; they also appreciate Magneton's Volt Switch on Pokemon like Audino. Scyther in particular forms a powerful VoltTurn core that can be difficult to stop. Pokemon like Sandaconda and Sandslash can lay down entry hazards to further wear down Magneton's switch-ins, with Sandslash providing valuable Knock Off support as well.

Thanks to its unique STAB combination, it can threaten Ground-types like Sandaconda with a Flash Cannon as well as Water-types like Wishiwashi with a Thunderbolt or Volt Switch. Analytic applies a 1.3x boost when Magneton moves after the opponnent, but this also applies to switch-ins, meaning special walls like Audino and Gigalith take massive amounts of damage from a STAB move. (move the part about analytic so that it comes after you've explained the moves and viable natures.) Tri Attack hits the few Electric-immune Pokemon that aren't weak to Steel, such as Quagsire and Volt Absorb Lanturn. (p much all lanturn are volt absorb + you already clarified that it's immune to electric-type moves.) A Modest nature provides the most power, while a Timid nature ensure Magneton outspeeds all Jellicent as well as Adamant Gallade. Quagsire, Lightning Rod Togedemaru, and Volt Absorb Lanturn are the few walls that Mangeton struggles to break past, so Pokemon like Gallade and Scyther can threaten out these Pokemon; they also appreciate Magneton's Volt Switch on Pokemon like Audino. (it might be worth mentioning that scyther forms a really annoying voltturn core with mag, which only makes the latter harder to play around.) Pokemon like Sandaconda and Sandslash can lay down entry hazards to further wear down Magneton's switch-ins, with Sandslash providing vauble Knock Off support as well.

it might be worth mentioning somewhere that mag blows gigalith up, which i'd say is unique for a special attacker in pu.

Translator here, there is a mistake on the last sentence where valuable is mispelled.
