[SET COMMENTS]
Lurantis combines a pure-Grass typing, serviceable mixed bulk, and strong Contrary move pool to effectively check common entry hazard setters like Rhydon, Stunfisk, and Qwilfish to either clear hazards with Defog or threaten to sweep. Leaf Storm is a strong STAB attack that boosts Lurantis’s Special Attack by two stages after each use due to Contrary. Superpower also benefits from Contrary, providing super effective Fighting coverage for Sap Sipper Miltank and Klinklang while also hitting Fire-types, Grass-types, and Articuno for neutral damage. Synthesis ensures Lurantis can remain healthy enough to repeatedly clear entry hazards or sustain itself for a Contrary sweep. 216 Speed EVs lets Lurantis outpace Adamant Rhydon and uninvested Alcremie. The remaining EVs are invested into bulk to better check physical entry hazard setters, notably allowing Lurantis to survive hits like +2 Stone Edge from standard Stealth Rock Rhydon.

Lurantis is most valuable when clearing entry hazards but thanks to Contrary, Leaf Storm, and Superpower, Lurantis can often scale its damage output enough to break through the healing moves of bulkier cores. Rhydon, Palossand, and Stunfisk all specifically have trouble defeating Lurantis, which opens opportunities for teammates like Silvally-Poison and Rotom which are usually stopped by these Pokemon. Lurantis struggles greatly against bulky Poison- and Flying-type foes like opposing Silvally-Poison and Altaria. Lurantis is also quite slow, so it is forced out by any faster Pokemon, such as Rapidash, Ninetales, Froslass, Jinx, and Articuno. Klinklang is a good partner because of its resistances and ability to OHKO Ice-types with an unboosted Gear Grind. In return, Lurantis handles Stunfisk, Galarian Stunfisk, and Palossand, all of which commonly shrug off Klinklang’s moves. Rapidash and Coalossal are good teammates too because they check offensive Fire- and Ice-types, and Lurantis can handle opposing Rock- and Ground-types in turn.

If entry hazard removal isn’t needed, Lurantis can run Aromatherapy over Defog to remove status that could cripple a Contrary sweep while curing its teammates in the process. Knock Off is also a useful fourth move to cripple switch-ins like Altaria and Tangela. Toxic is an option to put a timer on bulkier foes that resist Lurantis’s moves like Articuno but only compounds its weakness to opposing Poison-types. Setup support like Substitute and Safeguard can be useful, but Lurantis is often too slow to use these moves well and generally gains more advantage by simply using Leaf Storm or Superpower. A faster EV spread using 228 Speed with a Timid nature can outspeed notable Pokemon like Adamant Perrserker and Jolly Rhydon, though Lurantis does miss the bulk at times. Lurantis can also run a specially defensive set to check Rotom with the expectation that Superpower will then improve its Defense after one use. Heavy-Duty Boots is a good item for getting the most out of Defog, but Leftovers synergizes better with the high likelihood of staying in multiple turns to take advantage of Contrary. Leppa Berry can be used to remedy the PP issues Lurantis faces with Leaf Storm and Superpower and works especially well against Articuno's attempts to Pressure stall.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Pure Poison-types like Silvally-Poison resist Lurantis’s combo of Grass- and Fighting-type coverage, and others like Skuntank and Qwilfish resist just one of Grass or Fighting. Silvally-Poison and Skunktank can comfortably switch into even Knock Off variants of Lurantis, and all three Pokemon threaten Lurantis with super effective STAB Poison moves.

**Flying-types**: Articuno and Altaria resist Lurantis’s Grass STAB moves and Altaria resists Superpower too. Both Pokemon threaten Lurantis with STAB Hurricane and Articuno can even opt for a more accurate Freeze-Dry if needed. Roost also allows these Pokemon to stay healthy throughout a game, though Articuno must beware of Superpower when it loses its Flying typing and both Pokemon are significantly crippled by Knock Off.

**Fire-types**: Rapidash, Ninetales, and to a lesser extent Coalossal all threaten Lurantis with Fire STAB moves. Rapidash and Ninetales can boost alongside Lurantis, and Rapidash's Flame Body can punish repeated uses of Superpower.

**Ice-types**: Jynx, Froslass, and Cryogonal generally fear Lurantis's attacks but with momentum can force it out with Ice Beam or Freeze Dry. Articuno threatens Lurantis similarly but with the added benefit of resisting Leaf Storm. Abomasnow can switch into Leaf Storm too and immediately threaten to OHKO Lurantis with Blizzard.

**Fast Special Attackers**: Lurantis is a slow Pokemon and Superpower only boosts it Defense stat, making it susceptible to super effective attacks targeting its Special Defense from faster Pokemon like Poliwrath, Cramorant, or Manectric.

**Grass-types**: Lilligant can set up Quiver Dances and strike with a super effective Pollen Puff. Tangela and Roselia can stall out Leaf Storm and threaten with Sludge Bomb. Gourgeist can 2HKO with Poltergeist and is immune to Superpower. Chlorophyll sweepers like Ivysaur and Exeggutor can take advantage of Lurantis too.

Lurantis combines a pure Grass typing, serviceable mixed bulk, and strong Contrary move pool to effectively switch into common entry hazard setters like Rhydon, Stunfisk, or Pincurchin and Qwilfish (more relevant. Examples are usually meant to be at least B rank on the VR) and either clear hazards with Defog or threaten to sweep. Defog also clears Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Screens, and Safeguard. (This is dex info, which is avoided in analyses. These examples aren’t relevant enough to ZU either) Leaf Storm is a strong 130 base power STAB that boosts Lurantis’s Special Attack by two stages after each use due to Contrary. Superpower also benefits from Contrary, boosting Lurantis’s Attack and Defense by one stage after each use while providing super effective Fighting coverage for Sap Sipper Miltank and Steel-types that resist Leaf Storm like Klinklang. Superpower also hits Fire-types, Grass-types, and Articuno for neutral damage, though Lurantis must beware of contact effects like Rapidash’s Flame Body. (Good points here, but it’s a little verbose; try condensing the Leaf Storm and Superpower sentences to only be one sentence for each and remove mentions of base power and the sort. Instead, focus on meta-relevant targets and usage) Synthesis ensures Lurantis can remain healthy enough to repeatedly clear entry hazards or sustain itself for a Contrary sweep. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Lurantis to be unaffected by entry hazards, reducing chip damage and increasing its Defog opportunities. (Good point, but it’s a standard not to mention HDB on Defoggers as it’s assumed the reader gets why it’s a good item + knows what it does) 156 Spe EVs lets Lurantis hit 165 Speed, outpacing an uninvested Alcremie sitting at 164 Speed.(fluff) 252 HP and 100 Def EVs with a Bold Nature improves Lurantis’s physical bulk to ease switches into strong physical Ground-, Normal-, and Rock-type STAB moves from Stealth Rock users. With this spread, Lurantis can also avoid being OHKOed by a +2 Multi-Attack from Silvally-Dark and can even survive a Rapidash Flare Blitz 93.7% of the time. (Fluff)

Lurantis is most valuable when making use of its type advantages to clear entry hazards. It is a utility Pokemon first and foremost, but thanks to Contrary, Leaf Storm, and Superpower, it’s not passive in this role. With this combo, Lurantis can often scale its damage output enough to break through the healing moves of bulkier cores. (Too much overview / generalizations. Try to keep an overview point to just one line at most as a segue to the teammates section, if one at all) Rhydon, Palossand, Stunfisk, and Appletun (stick to the Ground-types as SilvPoison beats Appletun) all specifically have trouble defeating Lurantis, which opens opportunities for teammates like Silvally-Poison and Rotom who are usually stopped by these Pokemon. Lurantis struggles greatly against bulky Poison- and Flying-type foes that resist Leaf Storm and Superpower and threaten back with super effective STAB moves (these interactions are assumed bu the reader) like Silvally-Poison or Altaria. Lurantis is also quite slow so it is forced out by any faster Pokemon above 200 Speed carrying a super effective STAB move, such as Rapidash, Ninetales, Froslass, Jinx, or Articuno. Klinklang is a good partner because it’s immune to Poison, resists both Ice and Flying, and can OHKO Ice-types with an unboosted Gear Grind. In return, Lurantis handles Stunfisk, Galarian Stunfisk, and Palossand, all of which commonly shrug off Klinklang’s moves. Rapidash is a good teammate too because Flash Fire checks offensive Fire-types, its Fire-type STAB nails threatening Ice-types, and Lurantis can handle opposing Rhydon. Coalossal interestingly resists Ice, Fire, Flying, Bug, and Poison which are all of Lurantis’s weaknesses. (Remove mentions of resistances and basic type matchups; this is dex info assumed by the reader)

Lurantis can also be EV’d to focus more on Special Defense to check Rotom with the expectation that Superpower will then improve its Defense after one use. Leftovers is a good item too for residual recovery if entry hazards are not an issue for your team. (Great work here!)

**Ice-types**: Jynx, and Froslass both OHKO Lurantis with Ice-type STAB moves, and Articuno can defeat it handily as well. Froslass can even come in on Superpower. Abomasnow can switch into Leaf Storm too and threaten Lurantis with Blizzard.

**Fast Special Attackers**: Lurantis is a slow Pokemon and Superpower only boosts it Defense stat, making it susceptible to super effective attacks targeting its Special Defense from faster Pokemon like Poliwrath, Cramorant, or Manectric.

**Shedinja**: Shedinja is uncommon, but it is immune to anything Lurantis can typically do.

**Sun**: Ivysaur can easily set up Growth on Lurantis and immediately threaten it or its teammates with a Weather Ball or STAB Sludge Bomb.

(Remove / replace mentions of Pokemon less than B on the VR)

Great attention to detail, you had a lot of good points and substantial reasoning. After you implement what I wrote here, I’m going to give the analysis one more read through then I’ll give you the QC check.

Overall, you’ll want to avoid over generalizations and dex info. The former is all about getting to the point and being specific. The latter means you should avoid writing about simple type interactions, the base power of moves, ect. Anything you can find on the Smogdex / teambuilder won’t be worth writing about by itself, essentially. DM me anytime if you have a question!

Lurantis combines a pure Grass typing, serviceable mixed bulk, and strong Contrary move pool to effectively switch into check (broader terminology) common entry hazard setters like Rhydon, Stunfisk, and Qwilfish to either clear hazards with Defog or threaten to sweep. Leaf Storm is a strong STAB attack (GP prefers the term "STAB attack" and not just "STAB") that boosts Lurantis’s Special Attack by two stages after each use due to Contrary. Superpower also benefits from Contrary, providing super effective Fighting coverage for Sap Sipper Miltank and Klinklang while also hitting Fire-types, Grass-types, and Articuno for neutral damage, though Lurantis must beware of contact effects like Rapidash’s Flame Body. (too much info at the end of a long sentence; too specific whilst being too uncommon to mention) Synthesis ensures Lurantis can remain healthy enough to repeatedly clear entry hazards or sustain itself for a Contrary sweep. 156 Spe EVs lets Lurantis hit 165 Speed, outpacing an outpace uninvested Alcremie (no need to mention exact stat numbers; too much into the weeds; saying it outspeeds Alcremie suffices). 252 HP and 100 Def EVs with a Bold Nature improves Lurantis’s physical bulk to ease switches into strong physical Ground-, Normal-, and Rock-type STAB moves from Stealth Rock users. With this spread, Lurantis can also avoid being OHKO’d by a +2 Multi-Attack from Silvally-Dark and can even survive a Rapidash Flare Blitz. (reduce these last two sentences; you don't need to mention exact EV numbers here, could just say that the remaining EV investment is put into bulk to check physical entry hazard setters and survive hits like +2 Multi-Attack from Silvally-Dark. The reader will get the picture)

Lurantis is most valuable when making use of its type advantages to clear entry hazards but thanks to Contrary, Leaf Storm, and Superpower, Lurantis can often scale its damage output enough to break through the healing moves of bulkier cores. Rhydon, Palossand, and Stunfisk all specifically have trouble defeating Lurantis, which opens opportunities for teammates like Silvally-Poison and Rotom who are usually stopped by these Pokemon (great opening to this second paragraph!). Lurantis struggles greatly against bulky Poison- and Flying-type foes like opposing Silvally-Poison or Altaria. Lurantis is also quite slow so it is forced out by any faster Pokemon, such as Rapidash, Ninetales, Froslass, Jinx, or Articuno. Klinklang is a good partner because of its resistances and can OHKO Ice-types with an unboosted Gear Grind. In return, Lurantis handles Stunfisk, Galarian Stunfisk, and Palossand, all of which commonly shrug off Klinklang’s moves. Rapidash is a good teammate too because it checks offensive Fire-types and Ice-types, and Lurantis can handle opposing Rhydon in turn. Also, Coalossal has great type synergy with Lurantis. (Lump Coal and rapi into the same point about how these Fire-types work together with Lurantis while it, in return, checks Rock- and Ground0-types)

(with the last three sections, you focus too much on STAB move interactions, both offensively and defensively. Try to be more relevant to the meta as well as exploring different word choices / interactions to talk about. For example, you can say that Ice-types like Jynx, Froslass, and Cryogenal generally fear Lurantis' stronger attacks, but given a free switch-in they force it out with Ice Beam and Freeze-Dry. Try doing this for 1-2 of the above if you're up for it, but if that's tripping you up then don't sweat it for now; GP will probs come in anyways to help)

Flapple does a ton of damage as well.

**Sun**: Ivysaur can easily set up Growth on Lurantis and immediately threaten it or its teammates with a Weather Ball or STAB Sludge Bomb. (move this point to be added to Grass-types; you can say Chlorophyl sweepers in general too)

(Knock Off deserves a very early mention in this section since its probably on par with aroma in terms of the good options over Defog, Leppa Berry should also be mentioned somewhere as a niche option given the PP issues it can have) If hazard removal isn’t needed, Lurantis can run Aromatherapy over Defog to remove status that could cripple a Contrary sweep while curing its teammates in the process. If entry hazard removal isn’t needed, Lurantis can run Aromatherapy over Defog to remove status that could cripple a Contrary sweep while curing its teammates in the process. Setup support like Substitute and Safeguard can be useful, comma but Lurantis is often too slow to abuse use these moves well, comma and generally gains more advantage by simply using Leaf Storm or Superpower. Lurantis can also be EV’d to focus more on Special Defense run a specially defensive set to check Rotom with the expectation that Superpower will then improve its Defense after one use. Silvally-Poison and Skunktank can comfortably switch into even Knock Off variants of Lurantis, comma and all three Pokemon threaten Lurantis with super effective STAB Poison moves.

Rapidash and Ninetales can boost alongside Lurantis, and Rapidash's Flame Body can punish repeated Superpowers uses of Superpower.
